During the time he was asleep, he seemed to have broken through to the Late stage Beast rank. He moved his body a little as he took a deep breath, inhaling the poison in the surroundings.
After a while, he adapted to his new massive body, though he worried that if he continued to grow in size at a certain point, he would become nothing but a big target.
Putting that thought aside, he opened his status window and checked everything that had changed.

He let out a groan of pain as he felt something stabbing him in the back. He rolled around as the metal hunter's leader jumped down from his body.
He looked at the metal hunter's leader blade, covered in his blood, which was glowing with an intense silver light. Probably a full-powered metal elemental skill.
"AGWW!!"
Nexus roared at the metal hunter leader as he consumed even more mana; his body gained a deeper colour as he charged toward it.
