Chapter 1 - The Blood Gate

In a city drowned in darkness where the sun never rises and nothing is heard but the whispers of fear.

There are secrets buried for centuries but they have not died. They wait in the shadows watching and searching for a new victim.

He did not know that the blood running through his veins was anything but ordinary.

Rain, the young man who lost everything in a mysterious moment, discovers that within him lies a dark power he cannot understand or control.

But when the Shadow Brotherhood moves, there will be no escape.

With strange allies and unexplainable powers, Rain faces enemies hiding behind masks.

In this world, every step could be a trap and every person could be a traitor.

The dangers multiply and the shadows grow deeper and what is hidden is far greater.

The city of Arcanis was submerged in thick shadows, as if it had swallowed the sunlight and refused to return it.

Its narrow streets twisted like a dead snake and its stone walls told stories of a dark past known to no one.

It was not just a city, it was an open prison for lost souls.

And everyone who entered knew they might never leave.

In one of the dark alleys, a young man named Rain walked with cautious steps.

Hair as black as the night, eyes the color of clotted blood, and a face with harsh features, as if the entire world's weight was condensed in his gaze.

But he was no ordinary young man, he carried within him a mysterious power he had yet to understand.

A power linked to a blood-stained past and secrets of unknown depth.

Ten years ago, he lost his parents in a mysterious accident.

It was said their house burned down under strange circumstances but Rain never believed that story.

Something deep in his soul told him the fire was not an accident but part of a larger plan.

Since that day, he began to hear voices no one else heard and see shadows moving in the corners of his eyes.

Whenever he tried to forget, the memories returned to haunt him like a ghost that never leaves.

That night, Rain returned to his abandoned home, the only place his parents had left behind.

It was an old house shrouded in mystery, its windows shattered and walls covered in deep cracks.

But to him, it was not just a house, it was the place where all the curses began.

He pushed the door open slowly, its sharp creak breaking the heavy silence.

He stepped inside where the air was unnaturally cold.

Something was not right.

He looked around cautiously, his eyes scanning every corner.

As he climbed the worn wooden stairs, he noticed the door to his sister Lara's room was partially open.

He stepped forward with hesitant strides, his heart pounding wildly.

When he slowly pushed the door open, his breath caught.

He saw Lara's body sprawled on the floor, her neck brutally torn as if a creature from the depths of hell had done it.

A circle of blood surrounded her body and on the opposite wall, words were carved in distorted handwriting.

"The Shadow Brotherhood has arrived."

Rain took a step back, the shock shaking his entire being.

Who was the Shadow Brotherhood and why did they kill Lara?

He did not know that this crime was only the beginning of a nightmare that would never end.

The next day, as Rain was burying his sister in the old Arcanis cemetery, a stranger approached him.

He was tall, broad-shouldered, with eyes the color of dark amber.

His features were cold and his voice carried an undeniable tone of authority.

"My name is Darcus," the man said in a low but clear voice. "And I know who killed your sister."

Rain looked at him sharply, a mix of anger and suspicion in his eyes.

"Who are you and why do you care?"

Darcus smiled a faint smile but it held no warmth.

"I am a vampire hunter. And the Shadow Brotherhood is not just a myth. They are searching for something and your blood is their key."

Rain's breath froze for a moment.

He did not understand how his blood could be of any importance but he felt that Darcus knew more than he was saying.

Before he could ask more questions, Darcus reached out and handed him an ancient dagger, its blade glowing with magical runes.

"This dagger belonged to your father," Darcus said. "It is not just a weapon. It is the key to a truth greater than you can imagine."

Rain gripped the dagger and felt a strange heat seeping into his body.

As if this weapon was reacting to his blood.

In that moment, he realized his life would never be the same.

After days of mourning, Rain decided to seek answers.

There was no longer any room for fear.

He began training with Darcus, who revealed that the Black Light flowing through his veins was not just a power, but an ancient curse that grants its bearer supernatural abilities, yet slowly consumes their soul.

During his training, he met Sephra, a powerful sorceress with the ability to control Black Fire.

She was a mysterious woman carrying wounds from a painful past.

"Valric destroyed everything I loved," she said once, her voice carrying unmistakable bitterness. "But I will not let him win."

They were later joined by Kraios, a professional thief with the rare ability to break magical seals.

He was arrogant but invincible when it came to infiltrating impossible places.

"I am not here to save the world," he said coldly. "I am here because I have a personal vendetta against Valric."

Together, they began their journey to uncover the secrets of the Shadow Brotherhood and stop Valric before he could open the portal to the Underworld.

But at every step, a question haunted Rain.

Could Lara still be alive? And does a Dual Bearer truly exist as the legends say?

On a dark night, as they prepared to enter the buried city of Necros, a mysterious figure appeared in the shadows.

He was not just an ordinary person, he possessed a dark aura and overwhelming power.

Sephra looked at him in shock and whispered.

"It is the Shadow Lord."

Rain raised his dagger, preparing for battle.

But he knew deep down that this fight was only the beginning.

In the darkness, something larger was moving, something threatening to swallow the entire world.
