Leopold reappeared through another portal and struck down Borja, who was still in shock.
"How did you get here so fast?" Kyle pointed in disbelief.
"Take a guess."

Another portal opened above them.
Leopold emerged and unleashed Spiral Flame, destroying the enemy's magic crystal in one strike.
Such precise coordination.

Sekke Bronzazza was sweating heavily.
"Lord Jack said this would be a casual match, but everyone here feels stronger than me."
A female Magic Knight approached him.
"You're also a lower-ranked knight, right? The lower-ranked knights in this selection have all been impressive. You must be strong too."
"Of course. My strength is on par with Asta," Sekke said proudly, brushing his hair back.
He immediately regretted it.
Why do I always brag in front of pretty girls?
"Summon a vehicle."
Sekke quickly created a bronze chariot with his own face carved onto it and pulled Langris aboard.
"Charge forward."
"Yes."
"They're coming. Protect the crystal."
Langris raised one hand.
A violent spatial distortion flashed.
In an instant, the enemy's magic crystal was sliced clean in half.
Too fast.
A perfect one-hit victory.
Langris stepped down from the chariot as Sekke kept moving forward.
Several magic circles appeared, launching fireballs that roasted Sekke completely.
"He actually cut through space itself..."
The spectators were stunned.
Langris walked onto the platform and looked down at Finral.
"You've worked so hard, yet you're still just a support mage for the Black Bulls. When we face each other, stay out of my space. I can't guarantee your body will remain intact."
He smiled coldly.
"If something happens, that woman would be very upset."
Finral clenched his fists.
"I understand. To keep her from being sad, I will defeat you."
"A failure daring to speak like that," Langris replied with a grin.
"The next match: Team I versus Team J."
"Our teammate hasn't arrived yet," said a Crimson Lion member nervously.
Augustus Kira Clover XIII frowned.
"If your team is incomplete, you will be disqualified."
"Member X of Team I, report immediately."
A figure with braided yellow hair slowly stepped forward.
"I am X."
Light radiated from his body as paint-like magic spread.
Rill Boismortier revealed himself.
"A Squad Captain?"
Shock spread across the crowd.
"Can a captain not participate?" Rill asked innocently.
"It's fine," Julius Novachrono said with a smile.
Knowing they were facing a captain, many participants lost confidence.
"Don't give up. Victory is decided by destroying the magic crystal. Even a captain can lose in a team battle."
Hope returned slightly.
"Asta, you're here too," Rill called out happily.
"Rill!"
A figure suddenly appeared behind him.
Dressed like a butler, his sharp eyes focused on Asta as he elegantly handed him a cup of tea.
"You must be Asta. Lord Rill has spoken of you. I never expected him to make a friend."
"My name is Walter. I serve Lord Rill."
Asta stared at the tea in confusion.
How did he even make this?
He took a sip.
"It's so fancy I can't even taste anything."
"You know Captain Rill?" Mimosa asked.
Asta excitedly began explaining their encounter.
On the battlefield, two teammates stood beside Rill.
"What should we do, Captain?" one asked.
Rill raised his hands and framed the battlefield like a canvas.
"The stage is set. What kind of painting will emerge?"
He suddenly flew forward, charging straight into enemy territory.
As expected of a captain. So bold.
The next moment, regret hit instantly.
Rill was captured immediately by a simple plant trap, completely immobilized.
"Is that really a Magic Knight Captain?"
"He fell for such an obvious trap?"
Even the spectators on the platform were left speechless.
No one expected things to fall apart this quickly.
