Aiden entered the forest slowly.
The air was heavy, smells of damp earth and unknown creatures filling his senses.
Suddenly, a massive shape moved between the trees.
The Forest Beast appeared, its black fur glistening, eyes glowing red.
Aiden froze. The Shadow Wolf stepped forward, growling.
The forest seemed to hold its breath.
He realized this would be his first true test.
