As Nayeon walked out of the building, glad that she got some help, she decided to treat herself to some coffee at a nearby cafe.
As Nayeon made up her mind and started walking there, she unexpectedly bumped into someone. The person she bumped into was none other than Dohyun himself.
Nayeon sighed. "Oh, great..." She muttered.
Dohyun looked concerned.
"What are you saying?" He asked in a gentle voice.
"Nothing. Hello, boss." Nayeon spoke. She wanted to sound harsh.
"Nayeon, why are you coming out of this place? Isn't that advisor... Dr Sujin, there?"
Nayeon was astonished.
"You know Dr sujin?" She asked curiously.
"Yes, she is a friend of my aunt." Dohyun spoke. "I came to see her."
"I see. Now let me be taking my leave..."
Dohyun blocked her way by getting infront of her which caused Nayeon's face to get in his chest. Nayeon and Dohyun quickly pulled back and blushed.
"What was that!?" Nayeon said to herself.
"I- I'm so sorry, I just... wanted you to come for coffee with me?" Dohyun said shyly.
"Coffee? Were you not going to meet Dr Sujin.?" Nayeon asked as she tried to stop blushing.
"I am, but could you wait for me, please? I won't be long."
Nayeon reluctantly agreed and waited for Dohyun.
After some minutes, Dohyun came back and they went to a coffee shop together.
Nayeon got cappuccino and Dohyun got a black coffee.
"I have a lot of work tonight, so I really need this." Dohyun spoke and sipped his coffee.
"Is he trying to be friends with me again?" Nayeon thought.
"You seem to be in deep thought, Nayeon." Dohyun said.
"Yeah, I'm very busy." Nayeon replied. Nayeon wanted to use this opportunity to ask about something.
"So... when are you and Savannah- i mean, Leah getting married?" She asked in a confident voice.
Nayeon noticed how uneasy Dohyun looked while she stared straight into his eyes.
"I-i don't know about that..." Dohyun replied.
"Alright." Nayeon looked away.
They finished their coffee in Silence.
Nayeon got up to leave the coffee shop and Dohyun stood up at the same time with her.
A waitress suddenly came towards them with card.
"Hello, i see that you're about to leave." She spoke. "There is a tradition we do at this coffee shop before any customers leave."
Nayeon and Dohyun listened.
"Follow me please." The waitress spoke.
Dohyun and Nayeon Followed the waitress into a room with the walls clustered with tons of coloured sticky notes.
The waitress gave them a sticky note each. Nayeon got a pink one, and Dohyun got a blue one.
"Now, write something you want to say to the world on the sticky note." The waitress said.
The waitress gave Dohyun a pen first and he instantly started writing. Nayeon looked at her blank sticky note, thinking of what to write on it.
Dohyun finished, pasted his own on the wall and handed over the pen to Nayeon.
"Your turn." He said.
Nayeon took the pen and thought for a moment. She then started writing on the sticky note.
She pasted her own and looked at Dohyun's sticky note.
"You get what you fight for, not what you wish for." She read in her mind.
At the same time, Dohyun read out Nayeon's sticky note.
"Everyday is a chance to get better." Dohyun read and nodded his head.
"Thank you." The waitress spoke.
Nayeon read some other random sticky notes on the walls.
"You have to be able to accept failure to get better. Negative mind, no positive life..." Nayeon read.
When they left, Dohyun asked why Nayeon wrote what she did on the sticky note.
"My cousin once told me that." Nayeon said.
"I see."
They departed ways as the sun settled in the east.
