Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 – The Body Scan Demand

The press conference ended almost as quietly as it had begun.

Reporters continued shouting questions even after the microphones were turned off, but the answers given by the two CEOs had not created the dramatic reaction many journalists had expected.

In fact, many fans online quickly noticed something interesting.

Almost everything the CEOs had said was already known.

For years, fans had watched the ten actors travel together, live together, and work together. Photos and videos of the group had been shared countless times across the internet.

The explanations given by the company sounded almost identical to what fans had been saying for a long time.

Because of that, the press conference did not calm the situation.

Instead, it only kept the discussion alive.

After leaving the press hall, Long Jinhai and Long Jinmei quietly entered the elevator.

The elevator moved smoothly upward toward the highest floor of the building.

Directly below the top floor was their official office.

But the very top level belonged only to them.

It was their home.

The moment they stepped onto the private floor, the atmosphere became calm again.

The twins walked down the long hallway without speaking.

In their family, security rules were extremely strict.

Almost every room in the building contained security cameras.

Most of them were also connected to microphones and speakers through the central system. Every property owned by the family followed the same security design.

The villa where the ten actors lived had the same system.

The main family mansion where their parents stayed also used the same structure.

Only one place did not have cameras or microphones.

Their bedrooms.

Their parents had created that rule many years ago.

The family was large, and the children often lived in different houses without their parents nearby. For safety, strong surveillance systems were installed everywhere.

But private bedrooms were always completely free from monitoring.

The twins entered their bedroom and quietly closed the door.

The large room was calm and comfortable.

Two large beds stood side by side, exactly as they always had.

Without hesitation, Jinhai walked toward one bed and sat down.

Jinmei followed him, stretching her arms slightly as she yawned.

She was clearly still tired from waking up early.

She sat beside him and rubbed her eyes.

"Brother," she said softly, "can I sleep a little more? I'm still sleepy."

Jinhai calmly lay down.

"Sleep if you want."

Jinmei smiled faintly and lay down beside him.

For a moment, neither of them spoke.

Then Jinmei turned slightly toward him.

"Those kids knew from the very first day that someone was following them."

Jinhai nodded slowly.

"Yes."

Her voice sounded puzzled.

"Then why did they allow that person to keep following them?"

Jinhai stared quietly at the ceiling.

"We knew someone was watching them," he said slowly.

"But we didn't expect that person to act this fast."

Jinmei sighed softly.

"Everything exploded overnight."

Then she yawned again.

"Can we sleep more?"

Jinhai closed his eyes.

"We have a meeting at twelve."

Jinmei pulled the blanket over herself.

"That's three hours."

"That's enough time."

Within minutes, both of them had fallen asleep again.

While the twins slept peacefully, the outside world continued to burn with arguments.

By ten in the morning, social media had become even more chaotic.

Some fans strongly defended the actors.

"If they were doing something wrong, why would someone go this far to expose them?"

Others had the opposite opinion.

"Maybe the person who exposed them knows the truth."

"If there was nothing suspicious, why would someone risk everything to reveal it?"

The arguments grew more intense every minute.

Then suddenly, a new demand began appearing everywhere online.

Body scan test.

Thousands of posts repeated the same request.

"Let them do a live body scan."

"If they are innocent, this will prove it."

The idea spread rapidly across every platform.

Many fans believed their favorite actors were innocent. They wanted a clear test that could prove no physical relationship existed between them and the mysterious woman.

Some fans were worried.

"If this scandal continues," one person wrote,

"they might leave the entertainment industry forever."

But anti-fans had a different opinion.

"They're hiding something."

"If they refuse the test, it means the rumor is true."

Soon the discussion became so intense that even government officials began paying attention.

By nine in the morning, an emergency meeting had already been arranged.

Inside a government conference room,

several officials sat around a long table reviewing the situation.

One officer spoke first.

"The evidence being shared today was already posted by fans in the past."

Another officer nodded.

"Which means the person who released the information probably had another motive."

"What kind of motive?"

"Maybe that person knows something the public doesn't."

Another official pointed toward the screen displaying social media trends.

"The public is now demanding a live body scan test."

Several people in the room frowned.

"That kind of test is normally used for medical purposes," one officer said.

"It is done privately."

Another official shook his head.

"But the public wants proof about whether these eleven people have had physical relations."

An older officer spoke firmly.

"This request is going too far."

"If we allow this today, tomorrow people may demand the same test for anyone they suspect."

Another official added,

"Other countries are already discussing this scandal."

"They are questioning our culture and discipline."

The room fell silent.

Finally one officer spoke quietly.

"If we want to stop the rumor quickly… a public test might end the discussion."

Another officer looked uncertain.

"That depends on whether those eleven people agree."

The room became quiet again.

Finally, one officer picked up his phone.

He had a number saved.

It belonged to Suriya.

Just eighteen months earlier she had been involved in an unusual incident during a trip to the Himalayas. Because of that situation, the government had allowed her to remain in the country without restrictions and later issued her official residence identification.

He had personally handled that documentation.

He pressed the call button.

The phone rang once.

Then a second time.

Suriya answered.

"Hello."

Her voice sounded calm.

"You've seen the news?" the officer asked.

"Yes."

"And the other ten actors?"

Instead of answering, Suriya quietly turned her phone camera.

The screen now showed a large dining hall.

Ten young men sat around a long table.

They were calmly eating breakfast.

The officer blinked in surprise.

The phone was connected to the large screen in the government meeting room.

Every official could clearly see the scene.

The eleven people involved in the biggest scandal in the country were sitting together peacefully.

They were eating fresh fruit.

Drinking juice.

And water.

No cooked food.

Their expressions were relaxed.

No panic.

No tension.

Outside, the world was in chaos because of them.

But inside that dining hall, everything looked completely normal.

The officials stared at the screen in confusion.

Finally the officer spoke again.

"The public is demanding a live body scan test."

He carefully explained the situation.

"If you are comfortable with it, the test could help stop the scandal."

Before he could continue, one of the young men looked toward the phone and spoke calmly.

"We are okay with the test."

The entire meeting room fell silent.

The officials exchanged shocked glances.

They had expected resistance.

Instead, the answer came instantly.

No hesitation.

The officer cleared his throat.

"We will discuss the details and inform you later."

"Alright," Suriya replied calmly.

The call ended.

The meeting room remained silent for several seconds.

Finally one officer spoke quietly.

"They agreed too easily."

Another officer nodded slowly.

"Maybe they really are innocent."

After a short discussion, the officials made a decision.

The test would be arranged at 12 PM.

But strict security would be required.

If someone had already targeted those eleven people once, there was a high possibility something dangerous might happen before the test.

Heavy protection was immediately arranged.

Because from this moment forward…

The entire country—

and possibly the entire world—

would be watching what happened next.
