In the HPSC main office, the commissioner looked at Lady Nagant.
"You're certain he was not affected by your shot? Not a single scratch?"
"Yes. I confirmed that Absalon had no injury on his head."
Lady Nagant confirmed her report about the failed assassination attempt on Absalon.
The commissioner took off his glasses and rubbed his temples.
Absalon had been causing the HPSC stress with his actions for the past year.
Yes, he did stop threats that could have happened and save lives. But it was affecting society's perception of heroes' work not being efficient enough to take down criminals and villains, which also slowly ruined licensed heroes' images.
Except for the top fifteen heroes, since they were popular.
They had even tried to send heroes and agents to take down Absalon, only to have most of them broken physically and mentally by him.
Some couldn't recover the horrors what Absalon inflicted upon them.
Now, after finding out he had withstood Lady Nagant's bullets after she had been sent to eliminate targets involved in a poison deal they gathered information from their intelligence.
Only for Absalon to kill them and destroy a large part of the building in Kamino.
They do not have enough solid evidence to prove he had caused it for the people to view him as a villain.
The commissioner put his glasses back on and exhaled.
"You may go now Tsutsumi san."
Lady Nagant hearing her family name nodded as she exited the office and not too long after it the commissioner's assistant entered the office.

"I have the files of families with quirks that are related what we know from the criminals describing about Absalon."
"Thank you Seiji san."
The commissioner thanks his assistant. Both of them opened the files hoping this could track Absalon true identity of the quirks he used.

The scene changes inside the gym people were doing their physical activities to stay fit or get jacked.
Women want to look good or stay healthy and men do it to feel strong or impress the ladies thinking they'll get girlfriends.
However many were paying attention to one man who was doing hitting a punching bag with a 120 kg weighted vest, arm and ankle bands weighing 50 kg each.
"Whoa that guy is really going it."
One of the guys doing bench press commented on how this man still moving with little difficulty.
"Is he using a quirk?"
"Heh, this guy is trying to impress the ladies."
One said as they look at a group of girls watching him not bothering with other muscular guys.
"He's not you twigs."
The coach pulls up on them as he observed the man.
"His name is John Hunter he's from America working as a mechanic to fix cars and sell parts from scrapped vehicles.
As to why i say he's not is because he's born quirkless."
The coach folded his arms watch as the three men were shocked to hear a foreigner doing that type of weight is quirkless.
"How do you know so much about him?"
The coach smiled as he watched John finish hitting the punching bag.
"I went to his shop when my car broke down during a villain attack. He fixed it in three days for half the price. He sometimes gives free service to people who are struggling with money."
John took off his weights, exposing his great physique. More girls started to look at him.
One of the men grumbled.
"Man, I wish I had a body like that. Must've taken him over a decade to reach that level of muscle."
The coach's lips twitched at the comment.
"Sorry to break it to you boys, but John is twenty. He's years younger than all of you even though he doesn't look like it."
The group's eyes bulged at the reveal of John's age. One face was blue in depressed state thinking he's 27 years old and barely reaches the level of physique John has.
"I don't even know if I'm gonna look like that in my thirties."
As the guys sat in a depressed state about their age, John sat down to take a break from his workout. Rover entered the gym with Ai riding on his back, holding two water bottles.
She hopped off Rover's back and gave him a doggy treat.
"Here you go, Onii-chan."
John took both water bottles Ai offered him and drank them both.
"Thanks, Ai. Thanks, Rover."
"WOOF!"
Rover let out a bark at the compliment, and Ai nodded.
Some time later, John changed back into his normal clothes, and the three of them walked out of the gym.
"Onii-chan, we need more doggy treats for Rover and food at home."
"Alright. Let's go shopping."

Lady Nagant well, her real name was Kaina Tsutsumi thanked the female cashier as she left the shopping centre.
There were no patrols today, so it was her day off. She was doing what normal people did in life.
Her steps were slow. Her mind wasn't focused on her surroundings, only on the thoughts from last night.
'I've been working as an assassin for two years while helping society as a pro hero. Every threat that lingered or was planning was stopped by me.'
She remembered how the HPSC had given her those missions to prevent them from causing future harm. Swift and quick.
She stopped at a pedestrian crossing, waiting for the green light.
'No one survives my shots. No one lives knowing I assassinated them. Yet...'
Kaina's mind drifted to the brutal vigilante. Absalon. She knew the reports and news of him saving people, beating or killing criminals and villains in horrific ways.
The HPSC had labelled him the most wanted obstacle to be taken down for slowly destroying the peace they maintained.
'This is the first time I failed to kill someone. Absalon knows it was me who tried to assassinate him. What's his plan with this information? Blackmail? Revenge?'
As Kaina was thinking more about her situation, she felt a small bump against her side. She looked down and saw a little girl with a darker shade of her hair and star-shaped pupils. Ice cream was smeared across her face.
The girl pouted, looking at her empty ice cream cone.
Kaina put her shopping bag down and pulled out some tissues.
"I'm sorry."
Kaina knelt and started cleaning the ice cream off the girl's face.
"It's alright, I should be apologizing for not paying attention to my surroundings."
"Ai, don't move too fast."
She heard a voice call out and saw the little girl turn around. Kaina looked up and saw John holding groceries and a leash attached to Rover.
As he got closer, even though John's face didn't show much reaction, his mind immediately recognized the woman in front of Ai as Lady Nagant.
He stood beside Ai and acted surprised upon seeing her.
"Are you the pro hero who stopped that guy with rocket legs?"
"Yes, that's me. And you must be her father."
Kaina didn't know John's actual age but made an assumption based on his appearance. John raised an eyebrow, then sighed at how people judged him.
"I'm her brother and I'm literally twenty years old."
Kaina tilted her head in confusion, then looked at his broad shoulders, pecs, sharp jawline, and face.
"Twenty? But you look..." She stopped herself, not wanting to be rude to someone she thought was just a civilian. "Never mind."
"Onii-chan, can I get another ice cream?"
"Alright, but don't go running off."
He patted Ai's head and Kaina smiled seeing people happy. However, the moment was ruined when Rover barked loudly as police sirens rang out in the distance.
They saw multiple police cars chasing after a truck.
"Get out of the way!"
One of the men in the truck fired at the police cars using finger guns that shot bone bullets.
"Go to the pedestrian path! There will be fewer cars to avoid."
The driver nodded and turned left directly onto the pedestrian path where they were standing.
John grabbed Ai and Rover while Kaina pulled a strand of her hair, ready to form a bullet and shoot the truck as fast as possible.
Luckily for them, a blur ran past the four of them and stopped the truck, holding it up to prevent any area damage.
"No one should ruin people's peace," the figure announced. "Especially those trying to harm a pro hero and her family."
It revealed to be All Might, who had stopped the robbers. He shook them out of the truck as they tried to run away, but police had already arrived and aimed their guns.

The robbers were arrested, and the crowd cheered around All Might.
"All Might is amazing!"
"He's the fastest hero alive!"
'Jeez, talk about glazing this guy so much. At least it's not from my past life in the MHA fan community they glazed him a lot, especially the toxic ones.'
John thought to himself before grabbing his bags.
He had been in the middle of using his telekinesis in secret to stop the truck, but All Might arrived first. So instead, he used it to slow down Kaina's grocery bag, keeping it from flying too far.
As he was about to help Kaina, All Might walked up to her, holding the shopping bag as she grabs it from him.
"You must be Lady Nagant. Sorry that your day off was ruined, I hope your husband and daughter are safe."
"No, it's okay, All Might, I'm—" She stopped herself as his last sentence registered. "What do you mean, 'husband and daughter'?"
Just as All Might was about to understand her, Ai got close and tapped his leg.
"You're All Might? You don't have a hat in those photos I have from Mighty Burgers."
He laughed as he crouched down to her level.
"I am All Might, little one. Those pictures from fast food restaurants were exclusives. Right now, I'm on hero duty. Just like in the commercials toys or food your parents might have bought of me in different outfits or wearing the same costume.
But right now I'm wearing my regular hero outfit."
He stood back up and looked at them.
"If you and your family are ever in trouble, remember I AM HERE!"
As he shouted, he leaped into the air like Superman, continuing his duty as a hero.
Meanwhile, Kaina and John just looked at him in a daze.
"Did he just think I'm married?"
Kaina answered her own question as John was about to walk away—until the people around them called out.
"You're Lady Nagant's husband! How did you two meet?"
"That little girl has her hair—she's so cute!"
"Isn't that the mechanic I sold my broken bike to? How the hell did he marry a pro hero?"
Why would people think they were a family just because of All Might's assumption? There were two main reasons.
First, Ai had the same hair color as Lady Nagant even though it was a shade darker. John was there with black hair, so people assumed his genes were part of it.
And second? It's fucking All Might. The number one hero, at his peak of strength and influence. People would instantly believe his words.
"Fuck," John swore.
He immediately picked up Ai, put her on his shoulders after securing her to his head with his socks, grabbed Rover and surprisingly also grabbed Kaina.
He didn't want her to be burdened by the fans.
Even though she had tried to kill him when he was Absalon, it would be a dick move to leave her behind.
He ran like an Olympic athlete while carrying all of them. The people couldn't keep up as he's far gone.
