Abandoned Building
The moment Daniel called me and told Imelda is moving Veronica, I quickly took a leave with the boys.
In an hour, I, Smith, Drew and Kris were at the abandoned building.
"Jonathan," Kris said.
"Why does the place look deserted?"
My heart sank on hearing him.
"Maybe they've gone out to find another place to move Veronica," I suggested as well as assuring myself.
"Jonathan," John said on the satellite phone.
"Be careful, they could be hiding,"
"I know, but I won't waste another second,"
"But–"
"That's why I asked you to ask Ann the exact location,"
"We'll go direct,"
"Ann said to go for container seventy five,"
"Okay," I said, looking towards the boys.
"We head for container seventy five,"
"Keep zero level voice, we don't know if her men are in or not,"
Though I was calm, I was terrified inside, afraid I may be too late.
We followed Ann's instructions and went deeper inside reaching the top section of the containers.
