Harmon Designs - Managing Director Office - The next morning
"Hello," I was on the phone with my assistant.
"I know, but getting Veronica out of this mess is important,"
"Don't worry, I'll call him and tell to come over,"
"He'll take over for a while,"
After disconnecting my assistant's call, I dialed another number.
"Daniel," I spoke without letting him speak.
"Vance will come over with a power-of-attorney,"
"I've digitally signed it,"
"You sign it and look after Rollings works for a while,"
"Harmon Designs is in a mess, and if funds are not allocated fast, we'll be announcing bankruptcy before spelling it."
"Okay," Daniel said, understanding. "Don't worry about it, I'll take care of it here."
I exhaled as I disconnected the call.
"Jonathan," Veronica said as she walked in. "You'll tire yourself out like this."
"Nicky," I said as she sat in front of me. "You must have heard what I said, didn't you?"
She nodded.
