Harmon Designs - the next day
I was in my office alone as I realized Fredrick had changed his approach towards the office.
He was no longer making direct demands to change the leadership.
Instead…
I just found out from John, he was meeting the shareholders in private.
John told me he's speaking to them about stability, releasing the financial pressure and the need for a more permanent focused president.
I understood his strategy.
He was looking for ways to control without showing he was.
For the first time I realized how dangerous he really can be.
But he made one mistake.
He began talking ill of mother.
He started challenging her leadership.
He was forcing the members to think over having a stronger authoritative person.
And his main intention was to imply mother was not fit for the position.
My blood was boiling merely by thinking he was trying to erase my mother's history from Harmon Designs.
"Mrs Rollings," my secretary said as she walked inside.
