Alex's POV
Alex's Office
I received another message from my legal team.
I tapped on the message and read it:
Jonathan refuses to fall to the pressure of the old houses. He states he will not open the River vault until every old house claimant does not prove their legitimacy of the belongings.
I read the message a couple of times.
It was inconvenient, especially for my plan, but not unexpected.
I was irritated by his behavior, but not frustrated.
Frustration means he's gotten on my nerves…that I won't give him.
"Okay, then I'll just wait for you to break."
"Maybe I should slow down a bit," I said to myself.
"Maybe pressuring him may make him suspicious of me,"
"And if I pressure him too much, he may hide the Blue Heart deeper than where it is now."
I picked up my phone and called my legal team's spokesman.
"Hello,"
"Keep the old house representatives demands active,"
"The more impatient they are, the more he'll be required to open the vault."
"Okay,"
