Eldrin turned to look at the two figures and asked.
"Do you know what you're getting yourself into? The possibility of failure may be low, but it's still there."
The Ancient one looked at him and said.
"Brat, you're saying that someone who has fought Eldrich abominations and cosmic threats for more than 700 years"
"I said yourself not yourselves, and I was asking Erskine" answered Eldrin with a uncharacteristic grin.
The ancient one gave Eldrin an eerie smile and directly teleported in front of him with an extended hand.
But Eldrin teleported away in time before her hand touched him.
The 8 figures, stood there awkwardly watching the whole scene, Morax, now enhanced or evolved by the evolution serum, was itching to test his now more powerful abilities.
Eldrin, who was constantly teleporting noticed that and asked Morax.
"I assume you have the desire to test your abilities, how about a friendly duel?"
Morax, without hesitation agreed and then said.
"A friendly duel will be appreciated, though in order not to destroy the environment, I suggest we duel above the ocean."
"Of course, but before that, lets take your karmic debt."said Eldrin as he raised his hand, and thankfully the ancient did not take advantage of that to separate his soul from his body.
The karmic debt flowed out of the 7 figures into Eldris's hand, forming a misty dark ball, though their karmic debt was significantly less than Xiaos.
4 kilometers above the ocean, 2 figures could be seen floating; it was Morax and Eldrin ready to duel,Morax was wielding his Vortex Vanquisher, and Eldrin was wielding a dark sword made by his own darkness, not only that, the sword was enchanted with a minuscule amount of dark magic,not enough to kill, but enough to break Morax's defenses.
The two figures simultaneously rushed forward instantly closing the distance.
CLANG!CLANG!CLANG!
Morax swung his spear 6 times precisely towards Eldrin's vitals, his skill with the spear apparent, his attack speed was so fast that it left afterimages, but even with such speed Eldrin blocked them, though barely,his skill could not possibly compare to the Geo Archon who lived for 6000 years.
The instant Eldrin blocked Morax's attack he was kicked in the stomach; however, what Morax did not expect was for his kick to go right through Eldrin,Eldrin did not waste any time and solidified his body trapping Morax's leg,and at the same time swung his sword towards Morax's neck.
CRACK!
And then something shocking happened, Morax's shield cracked.
BAAM!
Eldrin was punched in the face and was sent flying into the sky at insane speeds,Morax instantly appeared above Eldrin and swung his spear vertically hitting Eldrin in the abdomen and sending him crashing into the ocean.
"Well played, your skill with the spear leaves me amazed"
Morax turned around only to see Eldrin staring at him,what he was fighting all this time was a shadow clone.
Eldrin teleported in front of Morax, punching his shield.
BAAAM!
CRACK!
Morax was sent flying by the force of the punch though he remained uninjured due to the shield blocking the force.
BAAAAM!
CRACK!
But that was not it, Eldrin teleported right above him striking his Shield again, but this time with a minuscule amount of dark energy coating his fist.
Morax was sent flying yet again, but in his flying path appeared a portal and through that portal came a spike coated with a high amount of dark energy.
CRACK!
His shield finaly gave away, the momentum along with the powerful dark energy destroyed his shield.
He turned to look at Eldrin and thought.
"As expected,his holding back his power quite a lot yet still able to break my shield."
Morax Aura suddenly intensified to insane levels.
And from the sky a giant comet appeared, its size was twice that of his prime.
But then the meteor was coated with darkness and then thrown towards Morax, Morax did the same and used his Geo manipulation to throw the meteor back at Eldrin.
And after a few times of the meteor getting sent back and forth, Morax simply broke the meteor into a million pieces and threw them all towards Eldrin at High speeds only for Eldrin to create a dark portal that sent all those millions of pieces back at Morax.
Morax raised his hand to stop all those pieces only for a giant comet made of darkness to fall on top of him, yet surprisingly his shield did not break this time,he wasn't going all out previously but now this will change.
BAAAM! BAAAM! BAAAM!
Their movements could no longer be perceived; the only thing that could be heard were powerful shockwaves from their fight,and occasionally thousands of stone constructs like spikes or small meteors were thrown at Eldrin while he was also simultaneously blocking Morax's spear attacks, yet even after so much pressure he blocked or destroyed those attacks with ease,naturally he could not use black magic in a friendly spar, it was too deadly and destructive,he only coated his attacks with a small amount of dark energy.
After 1 hour of fighting, they stopped, Morax who was winded looked at the unfazed and unharmed Eldrin with a strange look and thought.
"This could not be considered a fight, he's not even tired, I'm even starting to question if he even tried"
Eldrin knew what Morax was thinking and said.
"I do not possess the capability to tire, and in terms of power you are closer to me than you think"
"Before I obtained black magic he would have beaten me, but after obtaining black magic the strength of my powers increased dramatically, and perhaps I'm already a threat to the heavenly principles, thought i will probably still lose"thought Eldrin.
Eldrin then turned to look at the sky and thought.
"But with our combined power perhaps victory is guaranteed, especially with the ancient one here"
Soon this world shall no longer have to bear her tyranny.
