Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Chapter 1

A man stood motionless, his shirt torn apart, his hair falling over his eyes. He had golden hair and pale white skin. The sky above burned red like blood, the only exception being the moon, which remained untouched by the crimson hue.

Man: "So Lucifer... I guess this is the final battle, huh?"

Before him stood Lucifer — a strikingly handsome man with golden hair, piercing red eyes, white skin, and massive black wings crafted from dark feathers. A grin slowly crept across his face.

Lucifer: "I guess you could say that."

Adam said nothing. Instead, a brilliant white aura began to radiate from his body, slowly enveloping him entirely.

Adam: "Well then... let's get this over with, Lucifer."

The moment those words left his lips, his eyes ignited with a golden glow, the irises shifting into the shape of a brown cross. In an instant he vanished, reappearing directly in front of Lucifer and launching a swift, powerful kick toward his face. Lucifer reacted just in time, crossing his wings to block the blow — but the sheer force of the impact unleashed a devastating shockwave that reduced nearby buildings to rubble.

High above the destruction, two men stood on the rooftop of a building, both dressed in sharp black suits. One sat calmly in a chair while the other stood, gripping a tall staff. The one standing had brown hair, brown eyes, and brown skin. The man seated beside him had black hair, black eyes, and pale white skin. The standing man broke the silence.

Man: "You saw this coming, didn't you, John?"

John: "Well... I suppose you could say that, Moses."

Moses: "So who do you think will win — the first angel to sin, or the first man to sin?"

John: "I honestly don't know. But don't you have your own problem to deal with?"

Moses: "Oh, you mean Leviathan? I'll handle him. But do you think the others will cause trouble?"

John: "Well... Lust is already engaged."

Moses: "You don't mean—"

John: "Yes."

In another part of the city, a woman lay crumpled on the ground, clutching a necklace with trembling hands. Her wings had been severed and lay discarded beside her. She had long black hair, pink eyes, and white skin, and her entire body shook with fear.

Woman: "Y-you... monster!"

She lifted her gaze to the girl standing over her. The girl had striking blue eyes and blue hair. She wore a yellow raincoat, a rosary hung around her neck, and in her hand she held what appeared to be an ordinary rod. She stared down at the woman with cold, emotionless eyes.

Girl: "You know, I do have a name, Asmodeus. It's Luce."

Asmodeus: "I don't understand... how do you carry the Holy Spirit within you? You're not even a living being!"

Luce: "Acts 17:25 — 'Nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything.' The Lord gave life, and I, Luce, shall serve Him."

With a fluid motion, she drew a gleaming sword from within the rod. The moment the blade was unsheathed, a radiant white aura erupted around her, flooding the air with divine light.

Luce: "Would you like to die as a male or a female?"

Asmodeus: "Does it really matter?"

Luce: "I suppose not."

In one clean, decisive motion, she severed Asmodeus's head. The body and head alike crumbled into dust, scattering silently into the wind. Luce calmly sheathed her sword.

Luce: "I have bigger problems to deal with now... Eve."

As the name left her lips, she turned her gaze toward a nearby building. A woman sat perched at its edge — white skin, golden hair cascading over her eyes, a quiet smile playing on her lips.

Woman: "My, my, my... Luce, the little puppet."

Luce: "I didn't expect to encounter the mother of mankind here."

Woman: "There's no need to be rude, dear."

Luce: "...My apologies, Eve."

Despite the civil words, Luce's cold glare made it unmistakably clear — a confrontation was inevitable. Eve, unbothered, reached into her pocket and produced a single apple, turning it slowly between her fingers.

Eve: "Luce... do you know what this apple reminds me of?"

Luce: "The fruit of Eden."

Before either could move, they both froze. A powerful aura surged through the air — dense, suffocating, and filled with murderous intent. Both women turned instinctively toward its source. Lucifer stood above the battlefield, gazing down at Adam with cold superiority. He raised one hand, and the black aura coiling around his body slithered toward his palm, condensing and sharpening into the form of a sword. He swung it — and the resulting shockwave tore through the surrounding area like a blade through paper.

Adam didn't flinch. He stood perfectly still, absorbing the pressure, then released his own aura — immense, blinding, and overwhelming.

Adam: "Divine Skill — Samson, the Lion Slayer!!"

The ground cracked beneath his feet. In a fraction of a second, he was gone — and then he was directly in front of Lucifer, launching a devastating punch. Lucifer barely managed to shield himself with his wings, but the impact was catastrophic. The force sent him crashing to the ground, blood spilling from his lips. He drove his sword into the earth to steady himself, struggling to rise.

He didn't get the chance. Adam seized him by the face and drove him headfirst into the ground with bone-crushing force. Lucifer retaliated with a powerful kick, sending Adam skidding into a wall. But Lucifer, battered and bleeding, slowly pulled himself to his feet. He let out a broken laugh.

Lucifer: "Ha... hahahaha! Samson, the Lion Slayer! That fool... haha... well then, I'll say it once more — I will be the new God."

Adam: "After everything you did to Eve!!"

Lucifer: "It was her choice. She knew exactly what it would cost. And so did you — you ate the fruit too, Adam."

Adam: "I did... but I will kill you if it's the last thing I ever do."

Lucifer: "Then I hope you are ready to die."

Adam: "Divine Skill — Eyes of the Future, John!"

Lucifer surged forward, unleashing a relentless flurry of slashes. But Adam moved like he could see every strike before it came — weaving, stepping, vanishing just ahead of every blade.

Up on the rooftop, John and Moses watched in silence.

John: "He's using my divine skill."

Moses: "So it seems. Though I never fully understood Adam's ability. Our divine skills are rooted in the greatest deeds we accomplished on earth."

John: "The forgotten world... yes. But I understand his."

Moses: "Oh? Do tell."

John: "Adam is the father of all mankind. His blood runs through every human vein — and so does his sin."

Moses: "And?"

John: "He can draw upon the skills of his children."

Adam moved like a force of nature, landing blow after crushing blow on Lucifer. Every counterattack Lucifer attempted was read and evaded before it could land. The gap between them was becoming undeniable.

Then the ground began to tremble.

Steam hissed up through the cracks in the earth. The trembling grew into a violent quake. And then, with a thunderous roar, a colossal dragon erupted from the ground — ten heads twisting and writhing, each one crowned, its eyes burning with ancient malice.
