In the hospital ward, Guan Ruirui was stunned for a moment when she saw Jiang Xuxu, but then her eyes lit up with joy.

Jiang Xuxu only gave her a sidelong glance. "Didn't you invite me?"
As they spoke, Guan Baocheng and Guan Qishen returned from outside. Compared to the last time Jiang Xuxu had seen them, both were covered in various new injuries. Their bad luck was remarkably consistent.
Jiang Xuxu's gaze swept over the faint traces of black energy still swirling around them, and she understood the situation well enough. However, she didn't say much. She simply walked into the room and got straight to the point.
"I'm here for two things today. First, I can deal with the Yin Evil Entity clinging to Guan Ruirui, but I will only agree to do this once. Whatever she provokes in the future will have nothing to do with me."
Before Jiang Xuxu could finish, Guan Ruirui hurriedly interjected, "Just save me this once! If you're willing to help me, I'll even consider you my elder sister from now on!"
Jiang Xuxu's face darkened instantly. She felt like turning around and leaving right then and there.
"Who wants to be your sister? If you want me to save you, then never use that disgusting title for me again. I no longer have any connection to the Guan family."
Jiang Xuxu was as merciless now as she had been during the banquet. Guan Baocheng's eyes flashed with a cold, gloomy light, but he quickly returned to his normal expression.
"We agree, as long as you help Ruirui this once."
Jiang Xuxu did not move immediately.
"Second, I want you to write a Bracelet Transfer Agreement, signed and sealed."
Guan Qishen frowned at her words. "Xuxu, since we gave the bracelet to you, we won't try to take it back. Why do you need to say such things?"
Jiang Xuxu gave him a cold look, her tone chilling. "That's not a certainty." She paused before adding bluntly, "I don't trust any of you."
The gloom in Guan Baocheng's eyes deepened, but he only said, "I agree."
Jiang Xuxu demanded that Guan Baocheng write the agreement on the spot, sign it, and stamp it with his seal. For the sake of Guan Ruirui, Guan Baocheng didn't dare let go of this chance, so he could only comply.
Once Jiang Xuxu had the agreement in hand, she continued, "Additionally, my fee is five million per visit. You must transfer the money before I start, and Guan Ruirui must follow my instructions during the process."
Bai Shuqin had been holding her tongue, but she couldn't take it anymore. She looked like she was about to rush over and scream.

Jiang Xuxu didn't bother arguing. She reached into her backpack, pulled out a yellow talisman, and flicked it toward Guan Ruirui.
The yellow talisman moved as if propelled by a phantom wind, circling Guan Ruirui's body once before coming to a dead stop, hovering directly in front of her forehead. This sudden display of power instantly silenced the Guan family members who had been doubting her.
What shocked Guan Ruirui even more was that while the yellow talisman circled her, she clearly felt the faint, chilling sensation in her body weaken, replaced by a slight warmth.
Guan Ruirui's haggard face instantly regained a bit of color. She didn't hesitate for a second. "I'll transfer the five million! Just destroy Lin Ruirui's evil ghost right now!"

Guan Ruirui wanted nothing more than to see Lin Ruirui's soul scattered and dissipated. She frowned when she heard that the spirit couldn't be destroyed, but before she could hesitate further, Jiang Xuxu made a move to leave.
Guan Ruirui didn't dare dally any longer. "You have to promise she won't find me again!"
She had had enough of seeing that terrifying face every time she opened her eyes. Jiang Xuxu knew that since the Resentful Infant had been taken away, there was no way for its resentment to affect Guan Ruirui anymore. It would be impossible for her to see Lin Ruirui's ghost again.
She nodded. "But you have to listen to me."
Fifteen minutes later, Guan Ruirui looked at the small paper lantern floating in front of her, which had been folded from yellow talismans. She looked at Jiang Xuxu with a mix of surprise and uncertainty.
"Do I really have to do this?"

Guan Ruirui's hesitation was obvious. "You aren't secretly recording me or filming this, are you?"
Jiang Xuxu simply glanced at her and tossed her phone onto the nearby sofa. Guan Ruirui saw the phone screen was locked and felt a bit more at ease. Then, she looked at the other three members of the Guan family.
After a moment of hesitation, she spoke with a pleading voice, "Dad, Mom, Brother... could you please go outside for a bit?"
Bai Shuqin was confused. "Ruirui, how can we leave you alone in a room with this... with Jiang Xuxu? Don't worry, Mom will stay here with you."
Guan Qishen added, "Don't be afraid, Ruirui. I'll stay here and watch over you."
Guan Ruirui's expression became awkward and strained.
Jiang Xuxu couldn't help but chuckle at the sight. "She obviously doesn't want you to hear the bad things she's done or discover the ugly heart hidden beneath her appearance... Do you really need her to say it out loud?"
Her tone sounded sincere, but her voice was dripping with sarcasm.
Guan Ruirui's face turned pale. "Jiang Xuxu! Don't go too far!"
Jiang Xuxu looked at her, the smile fading from her lips as her eyes turned indifferent. "I've told you the method. Whether you do it or not is up to you. I'm giving you exactly one minute. If you exceed that, I'm done with this matter."
She spoke bluntly, and Guan Ruirui had no doubt that she meant every word. But... to admit the things she had done to Lin Ruirui in front of her own family... she just couldn't do it.
Just as Guan Ruirui was on the verge of tears from the pressure, Guan Baocheng finally spoke up. "You two, come out with me."
He then turned and walked out of the room. Bai Shuqin and Guan Qishen were curious, but they ultimately followed him out.
Finally, only Guan Ruirui and Jiang Xuxu remained in the ward. Guan Ruirui finally breathed a sigh of relief. She turned toward the small paper lantern still hovering in mid-air. After a long while, a pained expression crossed her face, and she began to sob quietly.
"Lin Ruirui, I'm... I'm sorry. I... I know I was wrong..."
