The head maid froze for a moment before quickly returning to a normal expression and nodding.
"Yes."
She gently closed the door, and her footsteps gradually faded into the distance.
Not long afterward, footsteps sounded outside once again.
The door was gently pushed open.
Three graceful figures walked in one after another.
Kurenai walked in front, wearing a crimson translucent nightgown.
The gauzy fabric, thin as cicada wings, draped down like flowing water, half concealing and half revealing her breathtaking curves.
Her collar hung slightly open, exposing jade-like skin.
Below was a full, rounded swell that rose and fell gently with her breathing.
The slit at the hem of the gauze robe faintly revealed her long legs, every step swaying with captivating charm.
She lowered her eyes, her cheeks flushed red, her hands unconsciously twisting the corner of her clothes.
Pakura followed behind Kurenai.
She wore a deep purple gauze nightgown, even bolder than Kurenai's.
Her collar hung wide open, exposing a large expanse of snow-white skin beneath the candlelight.
Her ample curves nearly burst through the thin layer of gauze.
The sash around her waist hung loosely, faintly revealing her slender waist that seemed delicate enough to grasp in one hand.
Beneath the gauze robe, her legs were straight and long, their lines firm and toned.
She crossed her arms before her chest, deliberately putting on a cold expression.
Anko walked in last. The moment she entered, she shut the door tightly behind her.
She wore a short pale pink gauze robe.
The hem was so short it barely covered the tops of her thighs.
Her pair of long, slender legs were completely exposed.
She wore nothing beneath the gauze robe, and the lamplight shining through the thin fabric faintly outlined her increasingly mature figure.
A skewer of dango hung from her mouth as she chewed enthusiastically.
When she noticed Gento staring directly at her, not only did she not avoid his gaze, she even winked at him.
Her slender, agile tongue lightly curled around the dango.
The three women stood shoulder to shoulder before Gento.
The candlelight flickered, making the figures beneath the gauze robes appear even more alluring.
Kurenai was the first to speak, uncertainty in her voice.
"Um… tonight, whose turn is it?"
Leaning against the headboard, Gento looked at the three flower-like brides before him, a wicked grin curling onto his lips.
"Whose turn?"
Kurenai's eyes instantly widened, and the blush on her face spread all the way to her ears.
"T-together?!"
Pakura's brows furrowed. She subconsciously took half a step back, her tone carrying a hint of vigilance.
"Are you serious?"
Anko burst into laughter, stuffing the last dango into her mouth.
"Of course I'm serious."
Gento replied with complete seriousness.
"What? Do you expect one of you to spend the wedding night alone?"
Kurenai bit her lip, her face so red it looked ready to drip blood.
"But… this is too…"
"Too what?"
Gento asked with a smile.
"Too embarrassing!"
Kurenai buried her face in her hands, her muffled voice full of embarrassment.
Pakura crossed her arms and turned her face away, letting out a cold snort.
"I already knew this was what you were planning."
Anko, meanwhile, carelessly sat by the bed and crossed her legs, the thighs beneath her gauze robe swaying dazzlingly.
"Sure, I don't mind."
"But let's make this clear first. If I get hungry afterward, you have to let me eat a late-night snack."
Gento pulled the women into his embrace.
Though Kurenai kept saying it was embarrassing, her body still leaned softly against him.
She merely turned her head to the side, her eyes tightly shut while her eyelashes trembled nonstop.
Pakura still kept a stern face, yet she allowed him to hold her hand without pulling away.
Anko showed no restraint at all, directly pouncing onto him, wrapping her arms around his neck and hanging herself on him.
Gento took hold of Kurenai's hand.
"We're already husband and wife, so what are you hiding for?"
Kurenai bit her lip, her gaze avoiding his as her voice became as soft as a mosquito's hum.
"T-the lights are too bright…"
Pakura let out a cold snort from the side.
"What a hassle."
Though she said that, her hand secretly tugged over a corner of the blanket to cover her exposed legs.
Anko, on the other hand, was not shy, even a little bit. She rolled across the bed, causing her gauze robe to flip open and reveal a flash of skin.
Upon the wedding bed, the three figures appeared even more radiant and enchanting.
Soon, the curtains around the wedding bed were lowered.
The three beautiful faces, each with their own charm, disappeared behind the gauzy curtains.
Outside the curtains, pieces of translucent clothing of various colors were tossed out one after another.
Outside the window, the sea waves crashed against the shore again and again.
The tides rose and fell tirelessly.
...
A full day and night later.
Gento opened his eyes, feeling refreshed throughout his entire body.
The three brides lay sprawled across the bed in complete exhaustion.
After walking out of the room, he found the head maid already waiting outside. Lowering her head, she said:
"My lord, Lord Itachi has arrived with Taro Kajiyama and is requesting an audience in the reception room."
Gento nodded and headed toward the reception room.
Inside, Itachi sat properly in the guest seat, his expression calm.
Beside him sat a dark-skinned middle-aged man.
It was Taro Kajiyama.
After half a month of traveling, there was additional fatigue on his face, but his spirits were good, and his eyes carried anticipation for a new life.
Seeing Gento enter, the two rose and bowed right away.
Gento waved his hand, signaling for them to sit, then looked toward Itachi.
"How did things go?"
Itachi nodded.
"Clan Head, the Kajiyama clan, a total of one hundred and thirty-seven people, has been safely relocated to Cerulean Harbor."
"As for the Land of Craftsmen… they did not attempt to stop us again."
He did not elaborate on the process.
However, Gento knew that with Itachi's methods, there was nothing for him to worry about.
He nodded and turned toward Taro.
"For now, your clan should settle down in Cerulean Harbor first. Choose a suitable place to build homes and workshops."
"If you need anything, just ask. Hidden Gento Village will fully support you."
Taro stood up excitedly and bowed deeply.
"Thank you very much, Lord Gento! The Kajiyama clan will definitely devote everything we have to forging the finest ninja tools for Hidden Gento Village!"
Gento smiled.
"Go on, settle your clansmen down properly."
Taro bowed once more before turning and leaving.
Only Gento and Itachi remained inside the reception room.
"You worked hard on this mission."
Gento patted Itachi on the shoulder.
"Take two days to rest. No missions for now."
Itachi nodded in acknowledgment.
Gento pondered for a moment.
It was about time to help Itachi awaken his Mangekyo Sharingan.
He could not bear to part with his items.
After all, if Itachi became a Kage-level powerhouse, it would make it easier for him to help complete the system's missions in the future, which would in turn earn him even more rewards.
So he said:
"I'll come find you at your house later."
Itachi was somewhat puzzled, but he did not ask further questions and simply nodded in response.
...
The palace dining hall.
The four brides sat around the table, the atmosphere somewhat delicate.
Kushina sat beside the seat of honor, sipping small mouthfuls of miso soup.
Her lower abdomen was already a bit swollen, and whenever she moved, she unconsciously protected her stomach.
Kurenai sat across from her. Ever since sitting down, she had not raised her head once, only poking at the rice in her bowl over and over again. The blush on her cheeks had never faded.
Even now, she still did not dare meet Pakura's and Anko's eyes after what happened last night.
Pakura, however, appeared perfectly calm as she leisurely drank tea from her cup.
Only occasionally would she glance at Gento, her gaze carrying an indescribable meaning.
Anko sprawled across the table without a shred of decorum, her chin resting on her arms.
With her other hand, she weakly poked at the dango on her plate, her eyes half-open and half-closed, looking quite drained of energy.
"Anko, sit properly while eating."
Pakura spoke flatly.
Anko weakly rolled her eyes.
"I can't sit up… my waist hurts so much…"
Kurenai lowered her head even further.
Kushina burst into laughter and accidentally choked on her miso soup, quickly covering her mouth.
After wiping the corner of her lips, she gave Gento a meaningful look.
"Sounds like things were pretty lively last night."
Gento gave a dry laugh and lowered his head to eat, pretending he heard nothing.
Pakura let out a cold snort and turned her face away.
Gento quickly finished the rice in his bowl and stood up.
"I'm full."
He then called out to Naruto:
"Let's go, Naruto!"
"Isn't the Academy off today?"
"Dad's taking you to play with Sasuke."
Naruto, however, kept a stern face.
"Hmph! Who wants to go see that guy!"
Even though he said that, he still ran off to put on his shoes.
...
Fugaku's house was located in the center of the Uchiha clan district, a fairly large traditional Japanese estate.
By the time Gento arrived, Fugaku had gone out.
Recently, more and more commissions had been coming into the Mission Hall, and as the Director, Fugaku was practically working overtime every day.
Albeit he himself seemed to enjoy it tirelessly.
In his own words:
"Watching the clan get better day by day makes all the hard work worth it."
In the courtyard, Itachi was helping Sasuke practice shuriken.
Standing behind Sasuke, Itachi held his little hand, correcting his throwing posture.
Sasuke kept his little face tense, staring seriously at the target ahead.
When he released the shuriken, although it flew a little off course, it was a significant improvement compared to before.
Mikoto sat beneath the veranda with a teacup in hand, smiling as she watched her two sons.
Itachi was the first to notice Gento. He immediately straightened his posture and bowed slightly.
"Clan Head!"
Sasuke also followed with a bow.
But when he saw Naruto standing beside Gento, he immediately turned his little face away and let out a tsundere snort.
Naruto refused to back down as well, turning his head the other way and presenting the back of his head toward Sasuke.
Gento smiled and waved his hand.
On the other side, when Mikoto saw Gento's figure, the gentle smile on her face instantly disappeared.
Holding her teacup, she turned her face away and refused to even spare him a glance.
Gento laughed bitterly inwardly.
He knew Mikoto was jealous.
Over the past two days, he had been busy with the wedding and had indeed neglected her.
And on top of that, he had married four women at once. There was no way Mikoto could feel comfortable about it.
Wisely, he did not approach her and instead turned toward Itachi.
"You've completed many S-rank missions during your years in the Anbu, and your abilities have long since been proven."
Itachi just listened without saying a word.
Looking at him, Gento said:
"To reward you, I've decided to help you awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan."
The moment those words were spoken, even the usually calm Itachi could not help but show shock in his eyes.
Even Mikoto, who had been cold-faced the whole time, suddenly turned around.
She no longer cared about being jealous.
"Y-you… are you serious?"
As a member of the Uchiha clan, she understood better than anyone what the Mangekyo Sharingan represented.
Even though her son Itachi had been called a genius since childhood, she still did not dare assume he would definitely awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan.
And now, Gento was actually saying he could help him awaken it?
She hurriedly stood up, invited everyone inside, and personally poured tea for them.
Inside the reception room, the fragrance of tea drifted through the air.
Gento had Itachi stand before him.
Concealing the Mangekyo Awakening Card within his palm, he pressed his hand against Itachi's shoulder and slowly infused chakra into him.
The card in his palm transformed into specks of light and merged into Itachi's body.
Itachi closed his eyes.
