Chapter 1 - Page 1: A Quiet Village

In a small peaceful village surrounded by green fields and a gentle river, there lived a young boy named Sumon. He was a simple boy with a kind heart. Every evening, he liked to walk by the river and watch the sunset.

One day, while he was walking beside the river, he noticed a girl standing near the water. The wind was softly blowing through her hair, and she was looking at the sky as if she was lost in her thoughts.

Her name was Maya.

Sumon slowly walked closer and asked politely,

"Are you new here?"

The girl turned around and smiled softly.

"Yes, my family moved here a few days ago."

That smile was something Sumon had never seen before. It was simple but beautiful. At that moment, he felt something strange in his heart.

Something had just begun.

After that day, Sumon and Maya started meeting almost every afternoon by the river. What began as a simple conversation slowly turned into a beautiful friendship.

Maya loved telling stories about the city where she used to live. She talked about bright lights, busy roads, and tall buildings.

Sumon listened carefully and then shared stories about the village—the golden rice fields, the cool rain during monsoon, and the peaceful nights filled with stars.

One evening Maya said,

"This village is so calm. I really like it here."

Sumon looked at her and replied with a gentle smile,

"It feels even more beautiful when you are here."

Maya blushed and looked down at the ground.

Neither of them realized it yet, but their friendship was slowly turning into something deeper.

One rainy afternoon, dark clouds covered the sky. Sumon and Maya were standing under a large tree near the river.

Raindrops softly fell around them.

Maya suddenly asked quietly,

"Sumon… what if one day I leave this village?"

Sumon's heart skipped a beat.

He stayed silent for a moment before answering slowly,

"Then this village will never feel the same again."

Maya looked at him with surprise.

Gathering his courage, Sumon finally said the words that had been hidden in his heart.

"Maya… I love you."

For a moment, everything felt silent except the sound of rain.

Maya's eyes filled with tears, but she smiled gently.

"I love you too, Sumon."

That rainy afternoon became the most beautiful memory of their lives.

But happiness does not always stay forever.

One evening Maya came to the river with a sad face.

"My father got a job in the city," she said quietly. "We are leaving tomorrow."

Sumon felt like the world had suddenly stopped.

He tried to smile but his heart was breaking.

Maya looked at him and whispered,

"Promise me you will not forget me."

Sumon looked into her eyes and replied,

"I could never forget you… even if I tried."

They stood there silently as the sun slowly disappeared behind the river.

It was the hardest goodbye of their lives.

Page 5: Years Later

Many years passed.

Life moved on, but Sumon never forgot Maya.

One day, while walking through a park in the city, he suddenly heard a familiar voice behind him.

"Sumon…"

His heart froze.

He slowly turned around.

Standing there was Maya.

She looked older, but her smile was exactly the same as before.

Maya laughed softly and said,

"I always believed we would meet again."

Sumon looked at her with emotion in his eyes.

"I never stopped loving you."

Maya stepped closer and gently held his hand.

And in that moment, their love story began again—stronger than
