Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

Since Franklin decided to leave he knew that he needed to think about a place to stay as well. And since the place he will go to is full of snow all the time it's not going to be comfortable staying there.

But anything to achieve his peaceful life. Deciding to not fight the hunters as a Gore magala was a pretty dumb idea but what can you do if that's your goal?

Staying close to a hunters outpost was a bad idea to begin with. He already knows that. So regardless of how hard he tried he was going to get found one day. And he himself wasn't known for making to many good choices to begin with.

So leaving for now is the best option. Spending the possible last night in the cave he called home first was nostalgic and sad as well. He spent hours on making it comfortable for to leave and the possibility of newer coming back.

The sun was just berly peaking through the vine at the entrance when he finally got up. Looking around the cave one final time he walked towards the entrance.

And when he got there and just nearly poked his head and shoulders out he heard a few muffled yelps. Looking down he spotted the hunters, there were more of them this time.

And since they weren't attacking him yet but were to stunned to do anything he decided to take the chance and fly away. Going towards the back side of the mountain where the snowy plains were he decided to look back jut once.

The hunters were scrambling.

'The shock of seeing me probably just worn of. They were definitely didn't expect me to walk out of my cave or to just leave.'

With this final thought the journey to find a new probably just temporary home begins.

At the hunters campsite with the final preparations complete they were ready to head out. Wincent was bracing himself for what is going to happen. Fighting a Gore magala was not an easy feat even if there were a lot of hunters.

But not thinking about the worst than could happen was already a hard thing for him. But he trusts everyone present that they wouldn't get hurt.

It was still dark out when they started but the sun already was on the horizon when they got close enough to the cave. After Calvin made sure that everyone was present and they didn't leave anyone behind he was just about to turn around to head inside the cave when some of the hunters muffled yelps was heard.

Quickly turning around he saw the monster they came to hunt down.

And at first glance this monster was bigger then what was written in the texts about it. It's scales black with a purple tint to them where the sun light hit it.

But that wasn't the most shocking part at all, size difference isn't that uncommon among monsters. What was the most shocking is that this one hade his eyes.

As far as everyone knows a normal Gore magala only got them when they turned into a Shrugle magala or when they failed doing so and that was a Chaotic Gore magala.

Before he could think about anything else the monster took of into the sky flying away towards the mountain.

It took only a few minutes to calm everyone down from their shock. Afterwards they went inside the cave to see if there's anything else.

After founding nothing they decided to head back to Nirvana and come up with a plan regarding the Gore magala.

Inside the forest they luckily didn't encounter any of the bigger monsters, and the smaller ones were easily fended of.

They arrived just before sunset. Going inside Calvin gathered all of the experienced hunters and everyone that was important. They needed to talk about what to do about this Gore magala before anything more dangerous happens.

While the hunters were gethering Wincent and his friends went there separate ways. He himself needed to get a good night sleep above all else. Seeing the Gore magala outside in the light wasn't something he wanted to remember right now. He can think about it later.

Getting to his residence he took of his armour and weapon and put them on the table in the corner. He will look at them in the morning, hopefully tonight he won't dream about anything.

Inside the outpost someone else was not having a happy time. Yes, Joel wasn't happy at all.

In the morning when he came back he was happy that he's plan worked and he won't see Wincent ever again. Of course he was not an idiot and was wearing a poker face so others wouldn't see him being happy for whatever reason.

This happiness didn't last long though because before sunset the other hunters arrived back to the outpost. At first he didn't pay much attention to them but a familiar sett of armour caught his attention.

Upon a closer look he recognised Wincent, and immediately got angry that the plan failed. But he still had the brain to not show his anger on his face.

Having his "perfect plan" foiled by whatever reason he decided to stay low for a while. Not wanting to get attention on himself he walked back to his residence to calm down. But of course he should have known that his plan was half baked to begin with.

Above the mountain Franklin was looking forward to explore the snowy region where the snow is almost always constantly there. It's exciting and not at the same time.

It's exciting because he can explore it as much as he wants. The hunters won't be present in this region much because of the cold and snow.

But that's the problem as well. One he's going to stand out like a big tree in a clearing. And he needs to get used to the cold as well.

Probably not the best idea to live here but for now it'll have to do. And to come up with a better idea as well.

The further he goes the colder it gets, but after a while he does get used to it somewhat. While flying he did see some of the other monsters that reside in this region.

Finding a place to rest will be a challenge but he can just go place to place if necessary. But hunting will be hard. Because black scales won't help him at all if anything it'll be a hinderance so the hunting will be still at night.

But first he needs to get a feeling of the monsters here are, and see what he has to work with. Afterwards he will look where hunter outposts could be located. Founding them is a priority because he needs to stay away from them to make sure he can avoid them.
