Chapter 150 - Chapter 150: The Enemy Appears

"That guy is unexpectedly bold." After learning from Shiota Nagisa that Akabane Karma had actually jumped off the cliff, Kaede couldn't help but remark. You have to know, even with her current body, falling off that cliff would definitely mean death.

Well, perhaps, she might have survived back in akame ga kill, but it certainly wouldn't have been pleasant.

Today, class was proceeding as usual.

Kaede watched Koro-sensei teaching at the front when her eyes suddenly narrowed.

Koro-sensei was teaching, but suddenly a small object appeared before his eyes. According to Koro-sensei, he was pondering what this suddenly appearing trinket could be.

Then, after a moment's thought, he realized it was a bullet.

Damn it, wasn't it agreed that there would be no shooting during class? And with real guns, no less...

Eh? A real gun? The direction the bullet came from didn't seem to be from below, but from outside.

Thus, Koro-sensei pinched the bullet with his tentacle and looked toward where it had been fired from.

At this moment, Kaede was also looking in that direction.

"Koro-sensei, what's wrong?" Koro-sensei's sudden pause left the students below somewhat puzzled.

"Uh, it's nothing." Koro-sensei narrowed his eyes and glanced over there.

"Koro-sensei, I'm going out for a moment." Kaede stood up, left the classroom, and headed to the restroom.

"Hmph~" Akabane Karma, sitting nearby, narrowed his eyes. Through Koro-sensei's pause and Kaede's sudden departure, he seemed to have realized something. Moreover, the item in Koro-sensei's tentacle seemed to have appeared out of thin air...

It might even have been a bullet. To an ordinary person, this would surely mean a dangerous individual had arrived, yet Koro-sensei didn't stop Kaede. It seems he truly trusts that Kaede will be fine.

However, even after figuring this out, Akabane Karma had no way to intervene, and Koro-sensei likely wouldn't approve of him interfering anyway.

Just as Akabane Karma suspected, Kaede was currently heading in the direction the bullet had been fired from.

"Damn it, he actually caught the bullet with a tentacle." Goat Face, who was observing the situation with binoculars, cursed under his breath.

"It's all because of these antiques; their power and speed are just not good enough," said the Gloomy Man, who was holding the gun.

"It's our lack of intelligence. The fact that such an octopus monster has appeared in this world is already incredible enough; that he could catch it is to be expected," another person said with a frown.

"Damn it, we investigated for so long only to find the target in such a remote place, and now we can't even kill him." Goat Face snorted angrily.

"Let's retreat for now. He has likely already discovered us. It seems we'll have to investigate further before making another move. We should have realized earlier that a cross-world mission definitely wouldn't be that simple."

"Yeah, that's all we can do." The Gloomy Man sighed and put away the gun. Although, in his view, such a weapon could truly be considered an antique, they couldn't find better ones for the time being. Besides, even this antique was something they had just stolen.

After the three of them left, Kaede stepped out from the side. She hadn't heard everything they said, but she could determine that they were indeed their adversaries.

However, Kaede chose not to take action. Firstly, her weapon wasn't with her; a Tachi was inconvenient in a world like this, and since she didn't have a permanent residence, she had left the Tachi at Xiao Mengxue's place.

Secondly, Kaede wasn't sure exactly how strong these three were. Even if they weren't strong, she only had a soft dagger on her, making it very difficult to kill them, let alone all of them.

Furthermore, it would alert the enemy. Judging by their conversation, they didn't seem to know about her and the others. This way, they were in the shadows, and since she now knew what they looked like, she had an absolute advantage.

Moreover, Kaede remembered that their mission was to protect Koro-sensei from being killed by accidental factors, and these accidental factors likely referred to outsiders like them.

In other words, it was permitted for Koro-sensei to be killed by the students of Class 3-E.

Also, although Kaede had a decent impression of Koro-sensei and respected him, she knew that Koro-sensei couldn't possibly survive.

The reason? Because his existence was a dangerous commodity to this world, with the potential to destroy it.

And as long as there was a possibility of destroying the world, no matter how small that possibility was, Koro-sensei could not be allowed to live in this world.

Is it realistic? Is it sad? The facts are just that, and no one can change it.

Any leader would not allow such a threat that could destroy everything to exist, unless there was no other choice.

While lost in thought, Kaede returned to the classroom and picked up a paintbrush.

The next thing she needed to do was draw those three people and give it to Xiao Mengxue so she would know what the enemies looked like.

"Kaede, come to the office for a moment." After a long while, Koro-sensei's voice echoed in Kaede's ear.

"Hm?" Kaede frowned, stood up, and walked toward the office, discovering that Karasuma Tadaomi was also there.

"Kaede, did you see what those people looked like?" Karasuma Tadaomi asked directly after seeing Kaede.

"I did, why?"

"It's like this: an armory in the nearby area was robbed, and I suspect this matter might be related," Karasuma Tadaomi said.

"Hm, three people?" Kaede asked.

"Yes." Karasuma Tadaomi's eyes lit up; it seemed to be true.

"Then that's probably it." Kaede shrugged, "Tell me the characteristics of those few people."

"As for characteristics, all three are between 1.7 and 1.8 meters tall, and they are very strong. Their physical fitness is terrifying. Although their combat skills aren't great, relying on their physical prowess..." Karasuma Tadaomi narrowed his eyes as he spoke. He considered his own constitution to be at the top of the human physical pyramid, but compared to those three, he felt like a child.

"Then that's them." Kaede said, handing the drawing to Karasuma Tadaomi. "This is what they look like, but I hope you can give me a copy of the information after you investigate."

"Hm, all right." Looking at the three clear figures on the drawing, a flash of astonishment crossed Karasuma Tadaomi's eyes, and then he hurried out. It seemed he was in a real hurry.

"How is it? Are you scared?" Kaede looked at Koro-sensei, who had remained silent the whole time, and couldn't help but ask.

"Guhehehe. Scared of what? To me, isn't it all the same?" Koro-sensei looked at Kaede. "Besides, speaking of physical fitness, aren't you the same? You shouldn't be much worse than those three, right?"

"It's about the same." Kaede nodded. "They are actually my enemies; the reason I came here is not for you."

"Is that so? Regardless, you are my student; that point is undeniable." Koro-sensei said, chuckling strangely again.

"Perhaps..." Kaede did not refute this and walked back to the classroom. She still needed to draw another one to give to Xiao Mengxue.

Koro-sensei watched Kaede's retreating figure, knowing that there were likely many secrets on this student of his. However, a student's secrets were not the teacher's business; it was enough for him to know she was his student.
