A few days passed with him visiting the kid and, yes he got chased every time like Prey by that disciplinary student.
In the "early morning" as Min Kyu would call it, a phone rang in the boys' empty dormitory, since school had started more than an hour ago.
Min Kyu groggily held his ringing phone. Opening it up he had a very ear stimulating call from his parents for skipping school repeatedly.
They nagged about him missing school, his dad threatening to kick Min Kyu out if he misses school today or at least that was the last thing he heard before the call ended.
Holding his aching head Min Kyu begrudgingly climbed out his bed, the clothes that were laid out on top of it tumbling down to the floor
Picking a hoodie out of his scattered clothes, Min Kyu with not much choice walked to school.
Taking a few steps in the school, Min Kyu immediately got stopped.
"Min Kyu! This is not the image of someone in our school, late, no uniform, piercings and hair that is much longer than standard."
Min Kyu looked up and saw a familiar bald spot that had him reminiscing about something.
" Don't you know you're embarrassing the school and your parents that way."
The teacher was scolding so much that spittle came out, disgusted the delinquent dodged it.
Rolling his head back, Min Kyu answered the reason for the missing blazer. " teacher I let someone borrow my uniform."
" Who!?"
" a little kid."
" Do you expect me to believe that? Don't you know with your grades and attitude the only job you will be having is in the wanted newspapers!"
The uncalled insult had the temperature in the room visibly dropped. This is exactly why min kyu didn't want to go to school. His normally bright eyes turned dark.
" What did you say, please repeat." Taking a step forward Min Kyu asked very calmly.
"I-I-I said-"
Min kyu smiled, it gave the teacher and everyone secretly watching this interaction a cold chill.
" Dear teacher, if you don't stop you may be in the victim newspaper, with me above you."
He came in closer whispering. " Don't think I wouldn't know you're acting like this because I caught you making out with a student in the ally way, so. shut. your. Donkey. mouth."
He walked past the teacher like nothing happened, not knowing a pair of eyes were on him that was not like the others.
The classes proceeded on like nothing happened mostly because nobody wanted to acknowledge it, even the people involved.
Min kyu's mood got soured already before even reaching the classroom . He got out his math notebook to sleep on when his eye caught the drawings on the cover. a small figure and a big one.
Immediately realizing who these figures are supposed to be, he didn't have the heart to sleep on the book anymore, leaving it to the side as he went to sleep with a calm mind.
But not before he got revenge on the teacher, Min Kyu smirked, a recording of what happened in the school forums from an unknown poster should be enough. Tossing his phone aside.
Most of the classes were boring. Maybe that's because he was in dream land at most of it, but unexpectedly during recess he felt a cool finger tap him on the shoulder.
'Which idiot is so brave.' He thought.
Min Kyu looked up from his desk. It was a tall boy with pale skin and neat appearance that followed dress codes to a T , And most importantly...a red armband and a clipboard.
Eyes rolling to the back of his head out of frustration, Min kyu because he was already so done with this game of cat and mouse, gave the fuck up.
" It's you, why are you following me if it's for skipping school, I don't even care anymore. Put me down, my name is Min-"
The guy raised his hand cutting him off " no that's not what I'm here for. I'm here to return something."
He raised up a bag, Min Kyu from the shape could tell those were the baby diapers he bought last time, didn't he lose these the other day while getting chased?
The disciplinary student suddenly bowed 90 degrees, this had Min Kyu jumping like a startled cat.
" Sorry! I didn't know your situation so I hope you will forgive me, being a single teen father must be hard."
Min Kyu's head snapped. " a single WHAT!"
This guy had to do some mental gymnastics to come to that conclusion. Min Kyu was both shocked and exasperated by his conclusion, his eyes blown wide.
"Am I wrong?"
"Absolutely horrendously wrong. I just found a 5 year old living alone in an abandoned room! "
The disciplinary student nodded like this was all logical. " Yes, a child living in an abandoned ....wait what?" It took him a minute to process the words. It looked like he was lagging in real life.
Min kyu rubbed his own head. " …..I don't know either man. I actually just found him when you were chasing me the first time so congratulations you're already apart of this mess."
"Oh." The guy didn't know how to respond, staying silent until the bell rang indicating to the students that recess and lunch were over. The Disciplinary student quickly asked while leaving to get to his other class.
"Can I see the situation "
"He's not my kid dumbass, do whatever you want." Min Kyu responded annoyed, he tilted his head back looking through and through like a bad person.
"My name isn't dumbass, it's Jae Hyun. " Student Jae Hyun respectfully said his goodbyes.
Adding in before leaving. "...also don't skip school if possible."
Min kyu sighed, another situation he didn't want to be in, that Jae Hyun is going to most definitely ask for directions later. It didn't disappoint. At the school gate the guy ended up following him.
Jae Hyun's eyes turned sharp as he saw the hidden door looking like a detective that found a piece of a puzzle he couldn't solve.
Min Kyu shudders at the sight.
opening the door without knocking, ji woo who had heard the door opening jumped on him. " Min Hyung!"
He clutched Min Kyu's foot and pitifully asked. " Do you have snacks?"
"You glutton."
He insulted but still handed him a breakfast sandwich and a few street snacks. Ji Woo, satisfied with his hunt today, put the food in the corner and came back running to them.
"Hyung, who is this?" Ji Woo pointed at Jae Hyun.
"He is your new slave." Min Kyu patted Jae Hyun's shoulder, feeling like he gained a new ally today.
Jae hyun. "…."
"What's a slave" Ji Woo asked cluelessly.
"A slave I-"
Jae hyun cut in before he can really start explaining what a slave is to the boy.
"I'm a friend, my name is Jae Hyun, what's your name little sir."
"Ji Woo, nice to meet you." He said shyly.
" Nice to meet you too. "
Jae Hyun asked gently." May I be your visitor at your house today. "
" yeah but do you have food?" Ji Woo asked with pitiful large eyes.
Min kyu roasted from behind. " Didn't I already give you."
"It's fine I do have some for Ji Woo."
He shrugged off his backpack, opening up the zipper to reveal there was a bunch of candy in it .
Surprised Min kyu thought. ' I didn't think someone like him would like sugar that much.'
Ji Woo's eyes sparkled with a dangerous glint.
In the end, Jae Hyun got robbed of all his sweets by a five year old to get in, Ji Woo surveyed his findings for the day, nodding to himself and going off to eat in a corner.
" Come here, why eat at that corner?"
Min kyu also wanted to ask that question since the kid always ate there.
" This is the kitchen." Ji Woo said this logically.
Jae Hyun bit his inner lip, letting the kid be. Turning to Min Kyu he asked quietly. "You didn't call the police"
"Would you."
Min Kyu got his phone out laying face up while playing. " don't worry I already ordered things, they are coming tomorrow."
"Like."
"Clothes, food ,walkie talkies ,blankets, and a futon. All of that cost me a small fortune."
Jae Hyun had an idea. "Wait for a bit, I will also buy things "
" You don't need to buy anything. I already bought the essentials. What would you even buy?"
"You will see tomorrow. "
Min kyu shrugged asking. " Are you staying today? " while he continued tapping away at his phone. Jae Hyun got out a textbook and pencil.
" I have nowhere I need to be, I only need to do homework. "
A few minutes passed in silence. " You should also be doing homework." Min Kyu groaned, having hoped to act like Jae Hyun didn't exist during the duration of this time.
But with this question he remembered the person who chased him down like a hound dog for skipping school. He said with annoyance.
"Don't wanna. "
He rolled over to the side but the questioning didn't stop.
" Why?"
"It doesn't matter, I'm already failing. It would be a miracle if I even get second place from the bottom."
The pencil on the paper paused. " So you are going to let go of your future. "
"Mind your business." Min Kyu said harshly, he had already been polite enough by not yelling.
"Give me your bag."
" why? "
" I can do your homework, I like math anyway."
Done with his homework, Jae Hyun shut his book, placing it back in his bag.
In Min Kyu's backpack he searched inside for today's homework, catching a glimpse of Min Kyu's math notebook.
He turned his gaze back and forth between min kyu and ji woo.
Min Kyu's earlier words came to his head. "He's not my kid dumbass, do whatever you want."
The mouth says something but the heart doesn't agree, this is the kind of sentence that perfectly describes min kyu.
Jae Hyun went back to work not bothering Min Kyu anymore.
