When hearing that Erin and Quinn were making a pact to watch over the shelter one day, Layla couldn't help but smile internally. That kind of determined confidence is what she loved in a person.
Soon, it was time for Erin's team to go through the portal, and the moment they stepped inside of the swirling white light, they came out of the other end right where the portal room was.
There, they could see several medical staff and military officials on standby, including Hayley, just in case there was a massive threat that would follow them through the portal.
