Roman flapped his dragon wings, overlooking the land below. The Gods Eye, Harrenhal, and the many residents were all in his view; a feeling of ruling the world filled his entire body.
"Is this what flying feels like?"
Roman felt a bit restless; he was eager to experience the feeling of soaring.
With a movement of his dragon wings, Roman began to dive, pulling up rapidly as he approached the water's surface.
When he reached the shore, he made a turn and began to fly sideways. The air currents rushed past Roman's ears, and the plains, farmland, and forests began to merge with the sky. Roman swam through this boundary line.
Afterwards, Roman performed various maneuvers, flying nimbly up and down in the air until he was tired of playing, at which point he dove at high speed and landed on the ground.
Fili and Lady Helaena of House Hoare immediately stepped forward to carefully examine Roman's body, only breathing a sigh of relief after confirming that there were no problems.
But Lady Helaena of House Hoare immediately asked with confusion: "Child, what exactly is going on with you? Why do you have dragon wings?"
Roman looked helpless: "My Lady, you should have learned about this from Scholar Tom; do you still not believe it?"
Lady Helaena of House Hoare just pursed her lips. The dragons she had read about in books were just beasts with little intelligence. Roman, on the other hand, was less like a dragon and more like a person who had obtained the power of a dragon.
Fili, standing to the side, didn't care about all that; she threw her arms around Roman and burst into tears instantly.
"Mmm~ Lord Roman, I was so scared. I thought I had lost you just now!"
Roman gently stroked Fili's back, tidying up her messy hair.
"You've lost weight." Roman lifted Fili's face and said with heartache, "You've worked hard lately. I'm fine now, so you should get some rest."
Looking at the energetic Roman, Fili's previously tense nerves suddenly relaxed. The long-accumulated exhaustion finally broke through her willpower, and Fili collapsed directly onto Roman and fell asleep.
"Lady Helaena of House Hoare, I will take Fili back to rest first. Also, tell the fishermen not to go to the Gods Eye so soon, to avoid any accidents."
After giving his instructions, Roman spread his huge blue-black dragon wings and flew back to Harrenhal, carrying Fili in his arms.
In the following days, Roman took care of Fili. The young girl had taken such good care of Roman over the past month that she had worn herself out.
Fortunately, Fili was young and there were no major issues; she fully recovered a few days later, but Roman still insisted that she not do any work.
"Lord Roman, I am already better; there is no need to take care of me like this."
"Even the most diligent Servant in Harrenhal would rest for ten days or half a month after collapsing from exhaustion. You've barely rested at all."
Roman rejected Fili's request to work and instead pulled her along to stroll around Harrenhal.
It just so happened that the Godswood of Harrenhal was about to finish its restoration, so Roman brought Fili there to visit.
The Godswood of Harrenhal covered a vast area, a full 20 acres. It was only when Roman arrived here that he realized how exaggerated it was.
This was simply a large forest; numerous pine trees and sentinel trees surrounded the weirwood tree, with a small stream flowing through the middle.
Due to the restoration by the foresters, the many trees together formed a complete and healthy ecosystem. Numerous small animals scurried about in the woods, and the ground was covered with shrubs and herbaceous plants.
Looking at the endless Godswood, Roman had ten thousand things he wanted to complain about in his heart.
He looked at Fili beside him; clearly, the girl couldn't walk such a long distance now, so Roman suggested:
"Fili, why don't I fly you in?"
"Eh? Is that okay, Lord Roman?"
Fili looked at Roman, somewhat disbelieving. Although Roman had a sturdy build, he certainly couldn't carry a person on his back.
"Of course, no problem. I have two hands; even if I can't carry you on my back right now, I can carry you in my arms."
As he spoke, Roman released his dragon wings from his back. Seeing this pair of freely retractable dragon wings, Fili couldn't help but exclaim:
"Lord Roman's dragon wings are so convenient; they can be completely retracted into your back."
Roman smiled and picked Fili up in a bridal carry.
"Hold on tight!"
As Roman pushed off the ground and flapped his dragon wings, he instantly climbed into the high sky. Fili felt a gust of wind pressure on her body, and when she opened her eyes, she was already a hundred meters in the air.
Everything below was as small as ants, and the girl nervously hugged Roman's neck.
"Are you afraid of heights?"
"No, I'm just a little scared because this is my first time being in such a high place."
"Haha, then hold on tight, the main event is coming next!"
Although he said that, Roman flew very steadily. White Flame heated the air in front of him, forming a film of air that reduced wind resistance while creating a stable airflow zone around Roman.
Fili only felt a gentle breeze on her face. After a brief adjustment, the girl began to excitedly look at everything on the ground.
"Lord Roman, look over there, there are so many cows!"
"That is our draft ox farm, a place specifically for raising draft oxen for the commoners."
"Lord Roman, when were those irrigation canals built?"
"They have been under construction all along. Recently, they even built two elevated stone irrigation canals. Let's go take a look later."
"Lord Roman! Look over there..."

While Harrenhal was celebrating Roman's rebirth, other nobles and commoners in Westeros also received relevant reports.
People's reactions varied, but generally speaking, they were divided into three factions.
The first was fear; people believed that the demon dragon that had once plagued Westeros had returned, and they began to pray to the Seven that destruction would not befall them.
The second was scrutiny; these were mostly nobles who were wondering if they could profit from it, whether by communicating with Harrenhal or by taking the opportunity to ask the lord for aid.
The third was disbelief; some great lords held this attitude. Roman is a dragon? Impossible, absolutely impossible; it's just a bunch of commoners spouting nonsense.
As for the various dukes, it was different. Eddard didn't believe it at first, but after confirming repeatedly that Roman had indeed flown in the sky, he could only skeptically accept it. After all, Roman hadn't flown right in front of their faces; who could dare say for sure that a dragon which had disappeared for over 100 years had returned to Westeros?
Tywin thought about his two children and immediately felt a headache. Of all people to provoke, they had to provoke Roman. If the news was true, the Lannister family was in big trouble.
But at the same time, Tywin was pondering countermeasures. Ancient books recorded methods for hunting dragons; even if Roman really was a dragon, he was confident he could find a way to deal with him.
Robert, on the other hand, began to mutter to himself, wondering if the children Myrcella would have after marrying Roman would even be human.
However, Robert didn't dwell on it for long because Cersei came over and went mad, screaming that Roman should get lost and that she would absolutely not allow her daughter to marry a monster.
"Robert! You didn't believe that beast had grown horns and a tail before, but now it has flown into the sky. Are you going to send Myrcella to him as dinner?"
The King was furious upon hearing this, and regardless of whether Roman was a dragon or not, he slapped Cersei across the face.
"Watch your words! Roman's character is widely praised; it is not for you to slander him!"
Cersei touched her red, swollen cheek and looked at Robert with resentment: "That's all you can do. I will take this as an honor."
Robert sneered: "Then you had better watch yourself, otherwise I will reward you with another one!"
As for Myrcella, when this princess heard that Fili had been carried in Roman's arms, soaring over the Harrenhal territory, her heart was filled only with longing and envy for Fili.
