"Don't worry, no one will catch that sex scent on you now," Genevieve teased as she misted me with perfume.
The fragrance wasn't overpowering—shifters got irritated by strong smells—but it would mask the sweet aroma clinging to my skin.
I inhaled, trying to detect what those shifters could smell. How intense was this sex scent anyway? I'd never had the chance to experience full shifter abilities.
My wolf had died before I could even shift for the first time. Still, I understood the basics of what shifters could do.
"You're good now," Genevieve announced, but doubt gnawed at me. I asked her to get Caelum—I needed to be certain. After all, Genevieve wasn't any better at this than me.
She was a healer, not a shifter.
Caelum appeared moments later, a smirk playing on his lips as Genevieve explained why I'd summoned him.
