Chapter 58 - Chapter 57

Nikolai turned his gaze toward Elena's seat, only to find it empty.

His eyes widened in shock as he ran toward the seat.

"Elena!" he shouted, making everyone halt in their spots.

"Elena, where the fuck are you hiding?"

His voice rose with each word.

Security guards and border control officers rushed toward him, their faces pale as they knew exactly who he was, and his voice carried silent threats.

"Sir… what happened? Is there any problem?" one of the officers asked, his voice barely audible.

Nikolai gritted his teeth before speaking in a low growl, "My wife is missing. And you all are asking what happened? She was here just a few minutes ago, and now she is nowhere to be seen."

He walked toward the security guards and grabbed one of them by the collar.

"This is how you all do your job?"

His voice dropped lower, full of menace.

They swallowed their fear, not knowing what to say, as he looked like a predator ready to hunt everyone down.

"Listen very carefully," he said. "I want all the security cameras checked, every CCTV footage. No one leaves this place until it's done."

The officers nodded and rushed to do their job, knowing better than to argue.

Nikolai pulled out his phone and called his men.

"She ran away. Check the whole place. Don't miss a single corner. Close transportation if needed. I want her back by tonight. Fast."

He cut the call and tucked the phone back into his pocket.

On the other hand, Alex finally tracked Nikolai's mobile after what felt like an eternity.

Adrian smirked before murmuring, "Let's meet our most adorable enemy face to face.

Today, I will turn this ground into a river of blood."

He sped up his car even more.

The rain had lessened, but the road was still hazy.

That didn't stop Adrian from reaching his destination.

As if even nature knew better than to stand in his way.

He arrived in front of the FBO after some time.

His men immediately surrounded the place, armed and ready.

Adrian looked at Marcus with a cruel smirk before ordering one of his men, "Keep an eye on him. If he tries anything, shoot—but don't kill him yet. He is my plaything."

The man nodded and kept a close watch on Marcus.

Adrian walked inside the FBO, making everyone's blood run cold.

"Relax, fellows. I'm here to meet my old friend," he said with a smirk.

Then he spoke loudly enough for everyone to hear, "Where are you, my dear friend? Come on, don't make me wait. I'm dying to meet you."

His voice was full of mockery as he sat on a nearby seat, spreading his legs wide like he owned the place.
