The Arbiter grinned.
For the first time, amusement showed on that ruined face, his broken lips curling upward in a way that made him look even less holy than before. There was something deeply wrong about seeing that expression on him, something that made the golden light around his body feel even more disgusting, as if the thing wrapped in radiance before them was no divine servant at all, but a corpse wearing the authority of the heavens.
"Let me end you all in the name of the gods."
His body began to rise higher into the air, and the angelic avatar behind him moved with him, growing clearer, larger, and more terrifying as a massive book slowly manifested in its arms. It did not appear all at once.
