Sasuke lay sprawled on the ground, his vision swimming in and out of focus. The faint wail of sirens echoed around him from a distance. He moved a little and regretted it instantly, his body screamed in protest as he shifted slightly, neck and shoulders raw from the searing heat of Naruto's rampaging chakra cloak. The acrid scent of scorched earth and ozone lingered in the air, so heavy and oppressive.
Turning his head, Sasuke squinted toward the chaos. Naruto was still in his frenzied state, tearing through the area like an unstoppable force of nature. The figures trying to restrain him—a team of heroes, by their appearance—seemed woefully outmatched. Despite their powers, none had managed to subdue him. Sasuke could tell they weren't prepared for something like this.
"What kind of quirk is this?!" one of the heroes shouted, clutching a charred arm. His face twisted in pain as he gestured toward the rampaging Naruto. "The heat… it burns before you even get close!"
A second hero, their force field flickering under the strain, dove to protect their comrades as Naruto struck the ground with explosive force. The impact created a crater, sending a massive shockwave rippling outward. Screams and shouts filled the air as debris rained down.
Then, a booming laugh cut through the chaos, and a towering, muscular figure landed in front of Naruto. The sheer force of his arrival sent cracks through the already battered ground.
"No need to panic!" the man declared with a confident grin, striking a heroic pose. "Why? Because I am here!"
Naruto growled, his feral eyes locking onto the new arrival. The hero wasted no time. With a swift punch, he unleashed a wave of wind pressure so powerful it blasted Naruto off his feet. The force alone tore through the landscape like a hurricane. Without hesitation, the hero charged after him, his movements fluid and decisive.
Sasuke's breath hitched. This was bad. Very bad. He braced his hand against the ground, trying to will his battered body to rise. His vision blurred again, but he couldn't stop now.
"I need to end this… before it's too late."
The hero known as All Might engaged Naruto in a brutal fistfight, each punch landing with immense force. Despite his relentless attacks, the searing heat of Naruto's chakra cloak burned into his skin, leaving darkened scorch marks across his arms.
What kind of quirk is this? All Might wondered, he coughed up some blood as he pressed on, a reminder that his body coukd no longer handle this quirk, not for much longer. Regardless, he refused to back down but before he could formulate a strategy, Naruto caught both of his fists mid-swing. The ground quaked as Naruto shoved him backward, slamming him into the dirt in an attempt to crush him.
Even pinned, All Might's grin never faltered. "Impressive," he muttered, forcing steadiness into his voice despite the mountainous strain. With a roar of defiance, he pushed back against Naruto, veins bulging from the effort. The ground beneath him splintered and cracked as he mustered his full strength, managing to lift Naruto's grip slightly.
But then, as if mocking his efforts, another set of blazing red chakra arms emerged from Naruto's back. With devastating speed, they pummeled All Might into the ground. Dust and debris shot into the air, shrouding the battlefield in a suffocating haze.
Naruto roared in triumph, his primal instincts taking over as he began forming a bijūdama. The black orb of condensed energy expanded rapidly, humming with destructive power. All Might, battered and bruised, stared at the growing sphere with wide eyes. His muscle form was going to dispell any moment from now nevertheless, he readied himself for impact, but just as the attack seemed inevitable, the world shifted around him.
In an instant, All Might found himself in a distant location, staring at where he had been moments before. Another figure now stood in his place—Sasuke Uchiha.
Sasuke's right eye burned with the activated Mangekyō Sharingan, his breathing ragged. He had used the last remnants of his chakra to swap All Might out of harm's way and restrain Naruto, if only for a fleeting second. Gathering the last ounce of his willpower, Sasuke unleashed Amaterasu, black flames erupting and consuming Naruto's chakra cloak.
The sound of Naruto's scream tore through the air. Sasuke collapsed to his knees, his vision blurring. He knew how resilient Naruto was—even the black flames of Amaterasu might not be enough. But as the tone of Naruto's screams shifted, a note of humanity creeping back into his voice, Sasuke allowed himself a flicker of hope.
He felt a heavy thud beside him, the sound of a body hitting the ground. A small smile tugged at the corner of Sasuke's lips. "You're back… Naruto," he whispered before his strength gave out and his eyelids fell shut.
All Might stood at the edge of the hospital room, his frail frame leaning heavily against the wall for support. The battle earlier had taken more out of him than he cared to admit. Since his last stand against All For One, using his muscle form even briefly had become a significant strain, and today had pushed him to his limits. He glanced at the two unconscious boys, their peaceful appearances starkly contrasting the destruction they'd caused.
He sighed, his mind swirling with questions.
Where did they come from? What are their quirks? Could they even be controlled?
The door creaked open, and Aizawa entered, his ever-fatigued face more grim than usual. "First All For One, and now this," he muttered, stepping to All Might's side. "It's just one disaster after another."
All Might chuckled dryly, though the effort made him wince. "It does feel that way, doesn't it?" His gaze returned to the boys. The dark-haired one had suffered only minor injuries compared to the blonde, whose burns and fractured bones had caused a stir among the hospital staff. Most concerning of all was the blonde's rapid healing. Recovery Girl had been astonished, and perhaps even a little unnerved, as the boy's body mended itself before her eyes.
"Immense stamina and energy," she had murmured in awe. "But what kind of cost does it come with?"
Neither boy felt malicious, even though one had nearly destroyed the city. The dark-haired one had stepped in to stop the chaos, and there was no mistaking the desperation in his actions. Did the blonde lose control? All Might wondered, his stomach tightening. He sighed again, shaking his head. "I just hope they wake up soon."
As if on cue, the blonde stirred, his eyelids fluttering open. For a moment, his blue eyes roamed the room in a daze, but the moment they landed on his friend, his body stiffened. Memories seemed to hit him like a tidal wave, and in an instant, he bolted upright, his face a mask of panic.
Aizawa immediately tensed, his capture weapon already in hand. All Might raised a hand weakly. "Wait—"
Too late. Naruto lunged toward Sasuke's bed, and Aizawa activated his quirk, binding the boy with his capture weapon. The air in the room grew suffocatingly heavy as Naruto's eyes darkened, their color shifting ominously. His struggling intensified, and with one hard tug, he nearly sent Aizawa flying toward the window.
But just as quickly, Naruto caught him mid-fall. "I'm sorry," he said, his voice trembling. His entire demeanor shifted, and the oppressive atmosphere faded. With a soft puff, he disappeared from beside Aizawa. It confused the man as he could see another Naruto still standing by the bedside looking quite troubled. Could that be a clone quirk of his?
Naruto turned to look at Sasuke, his face etched with worry. "Please," he whispered, "tell me I didn't hurt anyone."
All Might took a shaky step forward, wanting to ease the boy's fears, but Aizawa spoke first. "You put fifteen of our heroes in the hospital. Three may never return to active duty."
Naruto froze, his jaw tightening. He swallowed hard and lowered his gaze. "So… I did hurt people," he murmured. "I'm sorry."
Despite the regret in the boy's voice, Aizawa remained stoic, though his sharp eyes softened just slightly. All Might, however, managed a small smile. This boy isn't a villain. he thought. But what is he?
Aizawa narrowed his eyes, silently observing Naruto's demeanor. The boy's genuine remorse was vastly different from the earlier display of raw, uncontrollable power.
"You did something horrible," Toshinori began, his voice firm yet understanding. "There's no denying that. But I can see it wasn't intentional. There's more to you than the destruction you caused, and I want to understand what happened."
Naruto blinked, his remorse deepening as he processed the words. "It's very complicated..." He glanced at Sasuke, who sat up, silently surveying the room.
"Sasuke, you're okay!" Naruto exclaimed, relief breaking through his guilt as he moved toward his friend.
Sasuke sighed, his gaze steady but tired. "Barely. What kind of mess did you drag me into this time?"
Naruto flinched at the question but hesitated to answer. Aizawa's sharp voice interrupted their moment.
"Enough."
Both boys froze, turning to face the pro heroes.
Aizawa's sharp eyes settled on Sasuke, his expression guarded as he examined the boy. His attention lingered on Sasuke's left eye, now fully visible—a dull purple with an odd ripple pattern etched into it. The peculiar eye seemed lifeless, lacking the intensity of a powerful quirk or ability, but Aizawa knew better than to dismiss it entirely.
"You…" Aizawa began, his voice low, but Sasuke interrupted him with a calm, calculated tone.
"If you're going to ask where I come from," Sasuke said, a faint smugness in his voice that made the tension in the room thicker, "I'll tell you."
"Huh?!" Naruto and Toshinori exclaimed in unison.
Naruto blinked in surprise, baffled by Sasuke's willingness to explain. Aizawa's sharp gaze narrowed, waiting for Sasuke to continue.
"I'll keep it simple," Sasuke said, his tone steady. "Naruto and I aren't from this world. We come from another dimension."
As he spoke, Sasuke's thoughts churned beneath his calm exterior. He wasn't revealing this out of trust or goodwill. With his Rinnegan's teleportation abilities rendered useless and no clear way back home, Sasuke understood the importance of gaining these people's trust. Building a rapport could make it easier to find resources—or allies—for their survival in this unfamiliar world.
"We encountered a serious problem back home," Sasuke continued. "To protect my village, I used a teleportation technique without a fixed destination. That's how we ended up here—and caused your people trouble in the process. For that, I apologize."
Aizawa arched a brow, still studying Sasuke closely. Meanwhile, Toshinori broke the silence, his voice laced with a faint warmth. "Well, it's a good thing you two landed where there's civilization. You might not have survived otherwise."
Sasuke gave a curt nod. "I agree. Thank you for your hospitality."
Naruto blinked, his jaw dropping slightly. "Whoa, Sasuke, is this a new side of you? Being polite and all?"
Sasuke shot him an unimpressed glare. "Oh Shut up."
The two started bickering, their arguments breaking the earlier tension in the room. Toshinori observed them thoughtfully, an idea forming in his mind as a faint smile crept onto his face.
"Aizawa," Toshinori began, his voice carrying a hint of excitement. "I want to do something—"
"I already know," Aizawa interrupted, earning a surprised glance from Toshinori. "I've been thinking the same thing. But there are risks."
Toshinori nodded. "I understand. But this might be the only way. These two have something... a spark that can help instill courage in our students, something we've been struggling with lately."
He glanced at his calloused hands, remembering how he had expended the last of his strength at Kamino. No longer the Symbol of Peace, Toshinori felt a heavy weight of inadequacy. His intervention in the earlier fight was a reminder that he could only act in dire circumstances now. With his retirement imminent and All for One's subordinates still at large, this seemed like the best solution.
"We need them at UA," Toshinori said firmly.
Aizawa let out a sigh, his gaze shifting back to the two teens before addressing them. "What are your names?"
Naruto was the first to respond. With a calm smile that radiated warmth, he said, "I'm Uzumaki Naruto."
Sasuke followed shortly, his tone tinged with his usual arrogance. "Uchiha Sasuke. And I happen to be responsible for this loser."
Naruto, who had been scratching the back of his neck lazily, immediately snapped his head toward Sasuke, an irritated expression crossing his face.
"Who you calling a loser?!" He snapped.
Before they could escalate into another argument, Toshinori stepped forward. "Young Naruto, young Sasuke," he called out firmly, his deep and commanding tone silencing them.
Both boys turned their attention to Toshinori, noting the gravity in his expression. Even Sasuke, who usually exuded aloofness, seemed intrigued.
Once he was sure he had their full focus, Toshinori continued. "We would like to make a request."
