Chapter 253 - Chapter 253: Tyrannizing Ye Xishui

Under the shadow cast by Dynamax Mega Rayquaza's colossal body, the imperial bedchamber of the Sun Moon Palace sank into a deathly silence.

Ye Xishui looked up. Against those gigantic emerald scales, her figure appeared incomparably small.

The extreme shock stiffened her once meticulously maintained face. For the first time, a clear tremor appeared in her eyes—eyes that had always been filled with killing intent.

"What… what exactly is this?" Ye Xishui's voice sounded fragmented amid the trembling air. "This can't be the power of a Spirit. Even with a Martial Soul True Body, it's impossible for a Spirit to expand to this extent! Liu Yuan—what kind of sorcery did you use?!"

Nearby, Long Xiaoyao was still firmly restrained by the Snow Empress, yet even his movements slowed by half a beat when Dynamax Rayquaza appeared.

He stared at the divine dragon piercing the clouds and churning the dark-red vortex overhead. The astonishment on his face rapidly transformed into deep vigilance.

"This is suppression at the level of laws," Long Xiaoyao murmured, cold sweat beading on his forehead. "The moment his Spirit became gigantic, it forcibly altered the energy density of this space. This is no longer a simple contest of spirit power."

Ye Yulin lay amid the ruins, his eyes wide. Blood still hung at the corner of his mouth, yet he forgot to wipe it away.

As a Ninth-Rank Soul Engineer, he instinctively pulled out a portable energy-measuring device from his robes. But amid the leaping crimson lightning, the indicator instantly burned out from numerical overflow.

"Unmeasurable…" Ye Yulin's voice was hoarse. "The energy dimension is completely beyond limits."

When he looked at Liu Yuan again, his gaze held not only gratitude, but also awe toward an unknown power.

On the dragon bed, the Sun Moon Emperor forced himself upright, staring unblinkingly at the gargantuan beast in the sky.

A strange brilliance ignited in his originally dim eyes. His chest heaved violently from overwhelming excitement.

"So this… this is Liu Yuan's true trump card?" the Emperor roared inwardly. "With such power, why fear Shrek? Why fear the Three Great Empires?"

"As long as Liu Yuan is willing to aid my Sun Moon Empire…"

Liu Yuan stood beneath Dynamax Mega Rayquaza, hands clasped before his chest, emerald hair whipping wildly in the storm.

He ignored everyone else's shock, his cold gaze locking directly onto Ye Xishui, who was now fully on the defensive.

"Now," Liu Yuan said calmly, "it's your turn."

He issued the final command.

At that instant, Dynamax Mega Rayquaza moved.

Each slight shift of its massive body detonated the surrounding air. Its enormous eyes fixed upon Ye Xishui, then the divine dragon trembled slightly in midair before launching a Gigantamaxed Extreme Speed.

The air was violently torn apart.

In everyone's vision, only a streak of dark-red light flashed past.

Relying purely on the instincts of a Level 99 Limit Douluo, Ye Xishui instantly condensed her Death God Soul Skills around her arms to block.

Yet before such an overwhelming size difference, the defense looked laughably feeble.

"Bang!"

A dull explosion rang out as Ye Xishui was hurled away like a broken kite, crashing heavily into the royal stone wall at the far end of the bedchamber.

Those walls—reinforced with rare metals—instantly fractured into dense, spiderweb-like cracks.

Before Ye Xishui could stabilize herself, Liu Yuan's second wave of attacks arrived.

Dynamax Mega Rayquaza circled overhead, the three pink clouds around its waist blazing brightly. It opened its massive jaws, forcibly drawing in the surrounding water vapor and spirit power before unleashing them in a Dynamax-level Hurricane.

What should have been a normal-range storm transformed into a dark-red hurricane that connected heaven and earth, laced with crimson lightning. It completely engulfed the ruined area where Ye Xishui stood.

Ye Xishui let out a shrill scream and activated her Death God Domain. Countless blood-colored vengeful spirits were instantly torn apart within the hurricane.

Those blood-soul energies—enough to kill a Spirit Douluo in moments—were scattered like smoke before a gale, unable to form any effective defense at all.

She darted frantically through the shattered bedchamber, her movements agile and desperate.

Yet no matter how she dodged, the Gigantamaxed Rayquaza merely needed to casually swing its immense tail to seal off every escape route.

Each sweep carved trenches several meters deep into the ground.

Ye Xishui felt her scalp go numb.

This kind of attack was not only overwhelming in raw power—it carried a locking effect at the level of laws. Her Death God Soul Skills struck Rayquaza's colossal scales, but only produced a few sparks, unable to even scratch its defense.

"Damn it!" Blood spilled from the corner of Ye Xishui's mouth. More than half her cloak had been shredded, leaving her in an utterly miserable state.

The sight plunged everyone present into an even deeper shock.

If Liu Yuan summoning the two divine Phantom Beasts earlier had only seemed unbelievable, then what they were witnessing now—Liu Yuan, barely above Rank Seventy, suppressing the legendary Level 99 Limit Douluo Ye Xishui—completely overturned their understanding of the world.

"Am… am I dreaming?" A Sun Moon Empire Titled Douluo muttered, his voice trembling.

"That's Ye Xishui… the Supreme Pontiff of the Holy Spirit Cult, one of the strongest beings on the continent. And now she's… completely suppressed?"

Ye Yulin's lips quivered slightly. Staring at Liu Yuan's slender back, a deep sense of absurdity rose in his heart.

According to the ironclad rules of Spirit Master ranks, a gap of more than twenty levels should have been an insurmountable chasm.

Yet Liu Yuan had shattered those rules with brutal force.

The visual contrast was overwhelming.

On one side stood the hundred-meter-tall Death God True Body, sinister and terrifying.

On the other loomed the Gigantamaxed divine dragon, piercing the clouds, wrapped in crimson lightning. Before Rayquaza, the Death God phantom looked like nothing more than an undeveloped child.

While battling the Snow Empress, Long Xiaoyao kept close watch on Ye Xishui's situation.

When he saw her blasted away by Rayquaza's strike and then driven back step by step by the hurricane, he knew that today's assassination attempt had completely failed.

"Xishui!"

Long Xiaoyao roared. His Dark Holy Dragon Martial Soul erupted with black light as he tried to force the Snow Empress back and rush to Ye Xishui's aid.

But the Snow Empress showed no mercy.

"Where do you think you're going?" she said coldly.

The imperial sword in her hand traced an ice-blue arc. Extreme Ice surged forth, forming dozens of massive ice pillars that sealed every possible path of escape.

The Three Ultimate Techniques flowed seamlessly under her control.

No matter how anxious Long Xiaoyao was, he simply could not break free instantly against an opponent of equal rank.

He glanced at Ye Xishui—bloodied, barely holding on within Rayquaza's attack zone—then at Liu Yuan, who remained calm and unhurried.

A profound sense of frustration flooded his heart.

His gaze shifted to the shattered bedchamber doors. From afar came the uniform footsteps of the Soul Engineer Legion.

Kong Deming and Jing Hongchen were returning.

Long Xiaoyao knew that once those two Ninth-Rank Soul Engineers arrived with their forces, even a Limit Douluo like himself would likely fall here.

And with Ye Xishui's current state, if she wasn't rescued immediately, she truly might die at Liu Yuan's hands.

"The plan has failed—retreat!"

Long Xiaoyao let out an unwilling roar. He erupted with all his remaining spirit power, forcibly tearing open a gap in the Snow Empress's ice seal.

Twisting midair, he expelled a blast of dark holy dragon flames toward Dynamax Rayquaza's flank, attempting to disrupt Liu Yuan's vision.

Ye Xishui had long since lost nearly all her fighting spirit. Facing a power like Dynamax—something that did not belong to this dimension—her pride had been utterly crushed.

"Liu Yuan," she hissed venomously, "for today's humiliation, my Holy Spirit Cult will repay you a hundredfold!"

Taking advantage of the opening created by Long Xiaoyao, her body dissolved into blood-red mist and shot backward.

Long Xiaoyao swept past her, and the two streaks of light merged in the night sky, fleeing into the darkness beyond the palace without a backward glance.

Liu Yuan watched their retreating figures with a cold sneer.

He did not order the Snow Empress to pursue. Killing a Limit Douluo was never something that could be accomplished in a single battle.

For now, ensuring the Emperor's safety came first.
