Chapter 108 - Chapter 108: The Butterfly’s Wings Flutter Gently

After Apparating away from the factory, Harvey arrived at an ordinary villa in the city.

This villa, built in a last-century British style, was one Harvey had specially bought for Hermione's parents.

It was primarily to help them adjust to a strange new world as quickly as possible.

To be honest, the Grangers were shocked at first to hear they could go to another world.

But their daughter had become a legendary witch.

Possessing the ability to travel between worlds seemed normal enough by then.

The electric gate opened automatically, and Harvey stepped into the living room.

He saw Mr. Wendell Wilkins and Mrs. Monica Wilkins chatting with their daughter, Hermione, at the tea table.

Previously, the Grangers' names hadn't been this; Hermione had modified their memories with the Memory Charm during the Death Eater rampage to protect them.

"Hi, Mr. Wendell, Mrs. Monica. Good evening. What are you chatting about?"

The Grangers had watched Harvey grow up and had long seen that he held special feelings for their daughter.

Though they had hit a rough patch a few years back...

Now that things had worked out, the Grangers were quite relieved.

"My boy, are you here for Hermione?"

Thanks to Harvey making time to visit them every year, the Grangers were very fond of him and spoke with warmth.

"Not entirely. I'm mainly here to see you. How are you adjusting to this world?"

Harvey didn't say outright he was there for their daughter, politely asking the couple about their recent life instead.

"It's good. The advanced tech, Iron Man flying around everywhere..."

"Mr. Wendell, please don't worry. Even if aliens invade, Hermione and I will protect you..."

After a bit of small talk, the Grangers tactfully left the young couple alone, suggesting they go upstairs to the private cinema to watch a movie.

Once the couple left, the "good girl" mask on Hermione's face vanished, her expression turning cold.

"What are you doing here? Did you run out of things to do with those two women in Japan?"

When she said "things to do," Hermione emphasized the words, her jealousy practically overflowing.

Harvey brazenly sat next to her, wrapping an arm around her slender waist and starting to coax her.

"Mariko and Yukio are just flings. My true love is always the gentle, thoughtful Miss Know-It-All..."

Speaking of which, the exposure of the two Japanese women was Harvey's own fault for failing at time management.

For the past six months, he had vanished for a day or two every month. Despite being careful, he was eventually targeted by the highly suspicious Hermione.

Hermione hadn't been able to find evidence, so Harvey had lived peacefully for a few months.

But as the saying goes, if you walk by the river long enough, your shoes will get wet.

Two months ago, Harvey had been careless and forgot to cast Scourgify to destroy the evidence.

It happened to be Hermione's turn in bed that night. From just a single strand of red hair, she deduced he had been fooling around.

So for the past two months, an angry Hermione had teamed up with Cho Chang and Wanda to give him the cold shoulder.

Although this fragile alliance had been broken first by the most obedient one, Wanda...

The prideful Hermione was still harboring her anger.

She had even specially come to London to stay with her parents, acting as if she would never speak to him again.

So lately, Harvey had to find time between researching the Convergence to coax the angry witch.

Now, Hermione pushed Harvey's hand away in resistance. "Don't touch me. Go find those two traitors!"

Harvey didn't mention the "traitors," Cho and Wanda, but instead hugged her tighter.

"Come on, don't be mad. Getting angry makes you age faster; you don't want to become an old hag, do you?"

Hermione's eyes went wide, and she snapped: "You're calling me old now? You fickle scumbag, go find your pretty blonde babes with big tits!"

Despite her harsh words, Harvey could sense her attitude was softening.

After a two-month dry spell, the nineteen-year-old Hermione was clearly still in the stage of craving his touch.

Harvey knew exactly what to do.

Holding Hermione, he cast Apparition and returned to the New York villa.

"What are you doing?"

"You!"

"Get off me... you cheating bastard!"

He stripped the protesting Hermione down to her skin.

Expertly, Harvey began to comfort the little beauty whose mouth was still scolding him while her body gave an honest response.

...

After a round of fierce battle.

Leaning against the headboard, Harvey gazed with appreciation at the pretty witch pressed against his chest.

Having just fallen from the peak of bliss, Hermione clung to his chest, let out an unconscious murmur.

"Flew... too high..."

He gave a light slap to her soft, perky ass, causing a reflexively wriggle and a cute, sheep-like bleat of protest.

Seeing her dazed state after losing her combat effectiveness—so different from her usual cold, rational self—the contrast was genuinely amusing to Harvey.

"Darling, are we reconciled now?"

"No more getting angry in the future, okay?"

"Hmph... you cheating jerk. You are not allowed to bring any more women home. That is the final bottom line!"

"Of course, of course!"

He agreed readily on the surface, but in his heart, Harvey added: Bottom lines are meant to be broken.

...

After making up, Hermione returned to live in New York, continuing her role as the principal wife over Wanda and Cho Chang.

Over the next few days, aside from taking turns comforting the three increasingly insatiable women, Harvey kept his eyes on the abandoned factory in London.

As the days passed...

A week later.

The dramatic changes at the factory forced Harvey to shift his focus entirely to London.

In October, the rifts had only appeared occasionally.

By early November, the frequency had spiked.

It wasn't until Jane Foster set up shop at the factory that she began researching them up close.

In addition to rifts, the factory now exhibited unstable gravity anomalies.

And today, November 8th.

A horde of frost monsters from Jotunheim burst from the factory.

And Jane had gone missing.

When Harvey saw news of Frost Giants and twin-headed ice dragons appearing in the London suburbs, he immediately took a portal to the factory.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Boom! Boom!

The roar of gunfire and explosions was continuous.

Arriving over the factory, he found it had been taken over by the military.

Humanity was using modern high-tech weaponry to hold back the frost monsters.

Harvey even saw S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in the fight, with Captain America, Hawkeye, and Iron Man active on the front lines.

"Holy shit! This isn't how the original plot went at all!"

Seeing such a massive commotion, Harvey cursed under his breath.
