"Court? You are joking, right? What could you possibly fight for there?" She asked, looking at me with her brows raised.
"A divorce." I replied, and she shook her head.
"How do you expect to beat Jaime in court? You know how he tricks people, and hold on, what are we even fighting for? Can people in an Alpha Marriage even get divorced? It's a blood contract that was signed, it can't be undone." She said.
"I know. The couple won't be called a couple anymore, but they still can't sleep with or love anyone else, but our situation is different. We can still love each other because for some reason, I'm not dying, even though I'm being with you."
"I thought we decided that's because you and Jaime are blood relatives?" She asked, folding her arms.
