Indeed, it was true. Hades was a man who would gladly invade the Imperial palace and start a coup for Abel’s sake. But the fact that it also applied to me as well made… well, made me get butterflies in my stomach for some reason….
Anyhow, I was encouraged by Hades’ answer and took out the medicine I hid inside my sleeve. Seeing the medicine covered in cloth the size of my hand, Hades tilted his head.
He didn’t ask questions and took the cloth and opened it.
“Isn’t this the medicine you were taking?”
“It is. Your Grace, could you find out what this medication is?”
Upon hearing my request, Hades blinked slowly and asked, “Didn’t you say that this is from the temple?”
“Yes, I did. So I’ve been taking them not even knowing what they are. But something got me a little suspicious….”
