Looking back at me sniffling, Hades muttered his bafflement but gave a small chuckle at the end.
“What did you two talk about?”
The way he caressed my cheek was so affectionate, I almost cried once again.
Though I felt more lighthearted now that I could talk about everything with Michael, in truth the situation was more devastating than before.
I couldn’t tell Hades about how Michael seemed to have seen the future where he killed me.
That would be nothing but reminding Hades that his plan to kill Gaionia would end up in a failure.
I forced a smile and shook my head.
“I said we just talked about the past. It was nothing much.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. Why did you come all the way here, weren’t you busy? Are you done with work?”
Hades shook his head as he rubbed between his eyes looking tired.
“No, I should be heading out again.”
