When the flood of desire finally receded and logic rebuilt its high walls, Saiki finally realized exactly what he had done.
The soft, scalding body pinned beneath him, the warm embrace, the soft panting in his ear, and the thick thighs wrapped around his waist... he understood everything.
Unlike the previous session with Tsunade, where he had been entirely devoid of reason at the start, this time he had merely been in a state of berserk rage.
He remembered every detail of the process with terrifying clarity: Nono'u's desperate pleas, and the profound satisfaction of breaching her purity. He kept it all locked in his heart.
Pinned beneath him, Nono'u panted softly.
As the Yin and Yang Qi cycle of their dual cultivation concluded, she also recovered from that state of extreme, heaven-ascending euphoria.
Regaining her lucidity, she felt Saiki's muscles tense up against her. Nono'u understood that he was back to his senses.
Not only was Saiki at a loss, but Nono'u felt equally overwhelmed.
Saiki had exercised every right a husband could claim over her; if luck wasn't on her side, she might very well end up pregnant.
She let out a long, silent sigh of resignation.
Nono'u remained that gentle, caring soul; she understood that someone had to be the adult and take the initiative to address the situation.
With a flush of shame, she released her leg-lock from Saiki's waist.
She gently patted his back and spoke in a soft, soothing voice, "You're back to your senses, right? If you're awake, then please... get off your sister now."
Saiki noticed she was lucid, and seeing that she was the one to break the silence, he braced his hands against the mattress and pushed himself up.
Their eyes met for a heartbeat before both of them hurriedly looked away in different directions. The atmosphere was thick with intense awkwardness.
Sitting up, Saiki could finally take in Nono'u's full appearance.
Her pale cheeks were stained with the rosy afterglow of satisfaction.
She tilted her head slightly, staring at a random spot on the wall, not daring to meet his gaze.
Though not as old as Tsunade, Nono'u was in her mid-twenties.
As a medical ninja, she maintained herself perfectly; her skin was white and delicate, her breasts were high and firm, her waist was slender, and her buttocks were plump and perky.
The only "flaw" was the landscape of her white skin: her massive papayas and her neck were covered in a constellation of bite marks and love bites.
Feeling Saiki's burning gaze, Nono'u shyly raised her hands to shield her chest, covering the two large mounds.
That alone was fine, but what truly filled Nono'u with a mix of shame and anger was that, after having just vented his lust inside her, Saiki's "little brother" was already showing signs of standing up again.
She had tolerated his berserk state, but seeing him react like this while fully conscious was almost too much for her to bear.
"Are you still looking? Get out! Get out right now!"
The always-gentle Nono'u flared with a rare spark of irritation as she glared at him.
Between Nono'u and Tsunade, Tsunade's loud, brash personality often resulted in her "accidentally" providing Saiki with perks, which did spark some dark thoughts in him.
But for Nono'u, Saiki harbored a deep, genuine sense of respect and love.
"Oh! Right!"
Startled, Saiki hurriedly scrambled backward.
With a wet POP, the connection was severed. Nono'u bit her lip hard to prevent herself from letting out a shameful sound.
Looking at the pristine white bedsheets stained with "plum blossoms," and the white cream mixed with streaks of strawberry-red leaking from her "broken bun," a heavy sense of guilt began to crush his excitement.
Seeing Saiki still staring at her in a daze, Nono'u clamped her thighs together in shame and hissed, "Out!"
Even when she was angry, she remained incredibly gentle.
"Right!" Saiki muttered.
He climbed off the bed, looking like a lost soul, and started toward the door.
Seeing him leaving like that, Nono'u felt a mix of shame and helplessness. She called out, "Take your clothes!"
"Oh! Right, right!"
Saiki looked down, only to realize there wasn't a single piece of intact clothing left on the floor.
Both his own clothes and Nono'u's nun's habit had been shredded into useless ribbons of fabric.
Ultimately, Saiki picked up a large fragment of Nono'u's torn skirt, wrapped it around his waist as a makeshift sarong, and threw the door open to leave.
Despite the ridiculous sight of Saiki wrapped in her shredded skirt, Nono'u couldn't stop a small smile from tugging at her lips.
Looking at the wreckage on the bed, she massaged her forehead. What a total disaster.
Stepping out of the small room, the cool night breeze hit Saiki, and his headache only grew worse.
He never imagined that simply trying to circulate his Qi according to the dual cultivation method would lead to this. He had no idea how to face Nono'u now.
After a minute of wallowing, he adjusted his mindset.
Since it happened, he would take responsibility. He was only worried that Nono'u wouldn't let him.
He heard the rustling of fabric from inside. Saiki waited anxiously outside the door until the noise stopped and Nono'u's voice drifted out.
"You can come back in."
Saiki pushed the door open and hurried inside.
He saw Nono'u sitting on the edge of the bed, having wrapped herself in the top sheet from the spare bedding.
The flush on her cheeks remained. As her gentle eyes looked at him from behind her glasses, Saiki's courage instantly evaporated.
"I'm sorry, Sister Director!" Saiki spoke with deep shame on his face.
She wore that same gentle smile, but Nono'u was far from unmoved. After all, Saiki was still technically just a child in her eyes.
Seeing his remorse, she shook her head and offered a comforting word. "Don't overthink it. I know you were forced into it by your condition. I don't blame you."
Her answer was kind, but it wasn't the one Saiki wanted.
He walked over and sat down beside her.
Before she could ask what he was doing, Saiki lunged forward and pulled her into a fierce embrace.
"Sister Director! I'm going to take responsibility for you!" he declared loudly.
Being held so tightly and hearing such a blatant confession, even Nono'u was at a loss for words. Her cheeks burned even hotter.
She tried to struggle, but Saiki held her in a vice-like grip.
Even though his frame was smaller and his arms were thinner than hers, the strength he possessed was far beyond her ability to break.
Frustrated and ashamed, she gave him a light smack on the head. "Let go of me! What kind of nonsense are you dreaming about?"
Saiki was usually quiet, but he could be incredibly thick-skinned when he wanted to be.
Clinging to her, he began to act like a spoiled brat. "I won't let go! If you won't be my girlfriend... my wife... I'll never let go!"
Hearing the boy demand she be his "wife," Nono'u felt her soul tremble with embarrassment.
Root operatives were trained to have no past and no future. They were taught to be disposable tools for the Leaf. That was exactly why she had chosen the orphanage over a family of her own.
To Nono'u, being taken by Saiki in his madness was just a terrible mistake.
But hearing him say he wanted her as his wife made her heart skip a beat. Having a family wasn't something she hadn't dreamed of, but the reality of her life made it impossible.
At the same time, she was genuinely annoyed. She felt like Saiki was just throwing a tantrum.
"What are you saying?! You're still a child! You don't understand these things! Let go!"
She tried to sound stern, but her natural maternal instinct made it impossible for her to be truly harsh with him.
Sensing her resolve, Saiki realized aggression wouldn't work. He released her and looked at her with a devastated, teary-eyed expression.
"Sister Director... do you hate me now? Just like Sister Tsunade? Does everyone just want to abandon me?"
Seeing his look of pure heartbreak, the walls Nono'u had just built around her heart came crashing down.
She pulled him back into her arms and comforted him. "I don't hate you, and I'm not abandoning you. It's just... you're too young. You don't understand. We simply aren't possible."
Faced with her logic, Saiki leaned into his "shota" persona and played the rogue.
"I don't care! I want you, even if you don't want me!"
Held by Saiki, seeing his misery, Nono'u could only sigh in defeat. Even though she was the one who had been violated, she found herself allowing the boy to cling to her.
Was Saiki truly heartbroken?
Half of it was an act; the other half was painfully real.
As a soul trapped in a young boy's body, he understood why Tsunade and Nono'u would reject him. But with Tsunade gone and Nono'u pushing him away, he was feeling the weight of the world.
His strategy was working. He was shamelessly exploiting Nono'u's protective nature.
Nono'u told herself, "I'm just humoring him to calm him down. This isn't real."
But in this world, pretend feelings often have a way of becoming very, very real over time.
