Chapter 65 - Chapter 65: Symphony

Countless A-rank Noble Phantasms were fired simultaneously. Karna, bound by the Chains of Heaven, struggled desperately, trying to break free from the restraint of Gilgamesh's Chains of Heaven. However, because of Karna's high A-rank Divinity, he was bound tightly by the Chains of Heaven.

The Chains of Heaven were the chains that once captured the "Bull of Heaven" that had plunged Uruk into seven years of famine. They were given to Gilgamesh by Enkidu. Their ability is that of a "Binding of the Gods"; the higher the Divinity of the target captured by the Chains of Heaven, the harder it is to break free. So, in the Type-Moon World, Divinity is a debuff, countered in various ways.

However, how could Asagami Fujino not have thought of such a thing when she was buffing Karna?

A blue light lit up on Karna's chest, and the previously tightly bound Chains of Heaven were directly broken out of by Karna.

Suppression—the effect of another magic circle Asagami Fujino had placed on Karna—suppressed a certain power within his body to the minimum. Under this effect, the Divinity within Karna's body became extremely weak. Combined with his Strength, which had reached A-rank under the Berserk state, breaking free was simply too easy.

Freed from his restraints, Karna instantly vanished from his spot and appeared directly in front of Gilgamesh, swinging his fist.

Swiftness—another reinforcement effect Asagami Fujino had granted Karna. With his already A-rank Agility, he reached the pinnacle of the A rank.

Having anticipated such a situation, Gilgamesh did not appear overly flustered. A small, exquisite golden shield stood before him, blocking all of Karna's fist shadows. Behind him, the A-rank Noble Phantasms that had been ready to fire shot out in a volley, striking Karna's body.

The next moment, Gilgamesh was stunned. Under the bombardment of so many A-rank Noble Phantasms, they only managed to leave behind countless white marks.

"That's about enough." Asagami Fujino had seen enough; it was time to end this. With the numerous Noble Phantasms within the Gate of Babylon, even a reinforced Karna would find it troublesome to face various defensive treasures.

Countless lights suddenly erupted from Karna's chest. At this moment, the magic circles Asagami Fujino had previously planted all detonated.

Monstrous Strength, Shield Breaker, Immolation, Slowness.

All sorts of magic circles played their roles at this very instant.

With one punch, Karna shattered the shield standing before Gilgamesh.

The golden shield turned into countless fragments, scattering through the air.

With another punch, he finally struck Gilgamesh's body. Immense power exploded from his fist, and with a loud boom, Gilgamesh was knocked straight from the air to the ground, smashing out a large crater. His originally handsome face was completely ruined, his entire visage twisted out of shape.

Asagami Fujino and the others all wore wicked smiles.

The matter hadn't ended there. Karna, still in mid-air, was not finished with Gilgamesh. He instantly arrived before the dying Gilgamesh, who had been crippled by a single punch, and swung his fist again.

Seeing this, Asagami Fujino quickly applied a rapid healing effect, similar to Wolverine's, to Gilgamesh.

The collision of fist and cheek produced a dull thud. The rapid succession of impacts caused a change; those dull sounds were like a unique symphony rising and falling within this shielded space. The onlookers undoubtedly wore wicked smiles, delighting in the scene—especially Kallen, who enjoyed watching others suffer and was clearly the happiest of all.

At the Tohsaka residence, Tohsaka Tokiomi, the current head of the Tohsaka Family, had long since thrown his so-called elegance to the winds. Irritation and anxiety were written all over his face as he paced urgently back and forth in front of his desk.

Just moments ago, he had completely lost contact with his Heroic Spirit, Gilgamesh. It wasn't that their contract had been severed; the Command Spells on his hand were still there, and he could feel his mana being drained, yet he could not sense Gilgamesh's condition. Even using a Command Spell had no effect. His three Command Spells had been wasted in vain during his previous attempts to summon Gilgamesh back.

It was as if the connection between Tohsaka Tokiomi and Gilgamesh had been unilaterally blocked. The contract between them remained, but the Command Spells had lost their function, and Tohsaka Tokiomi had been reduced to a mere mana battery.

"What on earth is going on!"

Even though he had already sent his disciple, Kirei, to investigate, a long time had passed without any word.

"No need to wait anymore." A cold female voice came from behind. Tohsaka Tokiomi was startled, and one hand immediately reached into his pocket, tightly gripping a magic gem.

"Who are you?" Tohsaka Tokiomi asked in a low voice without turning around.

At the same time, the mana within his body flowed, as he prepared to use the magic gem in his hand at any moment.

There was no response. Tohsaka Tokiomi frowned and turned around, the gem in his hand already beginning to emit a faint glow.

No one?

Tohsaka Tokiomi looked in surprise at the empty space behind him. Wait! What was that?! Something was lying on the ground, and Tohsaka Tokiomi found it somewhat familiar.

Suddenly, Tohsaka Tokiomi felt a heavy blow to the back of his head. His consciousness began to fade into darkness. At the moment he collapsed, he saw clearly who the person on the ground was—it was his disciple, Kirei Kotomine.

"That's about it. Everyone's almost here."

Casually tossing the finished popcorn onto the ground, Asagami Fujino stood up from her lounge chair and clapped her hands. Karna, who had been tirelessly punching and kicking Gilgamesh, collapsed like a deflated doll next to the bloody mess that was Gilgamesh. Asagami Fujino also took the opportunity to cancel the healing effect on Gilgamesh; let him live in this state for a while longer.

"Alright, Aoko, do you want to have a fight?" Asagami Fujino turned back and looked at Aoko with a smile.

"A fight? With whom?" Aoko was also somewhat excited, punching her palm as she felt eager to try.

"It's fine, I'll have some fun with him." Aoko's current strength was far beyond what it used to be. Watching the battle between Karna and Gilgamesh earlier had ignited the fighting spirit in her heart.

"They'll be here soon."

She created a few loopholes in the shielding of this space; otherwise, those people wouldn't be able to get in. Everything was about to end.

It was time to start building the Main God Space.
