"They're here!" Closing Prelati's Spellbook, Asagami Fujino looked into the distance. Only Touko, Aoko, Lia, and Scáthach remained in these ruins. Asagami Fujino had already had Aika take the two Little Lolis, Sakura and Kallen, back first.
"Lia, get ready to move." In Asagami Fujino's perception, Saber was already approaching the battlefield in a vehicle. Not just Saber, but others like Rider, Lancer, and Caster were also about to arrive.
"I'm going first." Lia charged out instantly. The ground cracked outward under her terrifying strength, and her movement directly caused a sonic boom.
"master, why don't you go deal with that Diarmuid?" Asagami Fujino said to Scáthach.
"Diarmuid? The First Warrior of the Irish Fianna Knights?" Scáthach also became interested.
"That's the one. He's summoned as a Lancer this time. Since he wasn't summoned as a Saber, he doesn't have those two demonic swords, so his strength is a bit lower. But you'll just have to make do, master."
"Fine, it beats being bored," Scáthach said with a smile.
"master, remember not to kill him, or I'll have to summon him again," Asagami Fujino added.
"Understood, don't worry. Just leave him half-dead, right?" With that, Scáthach charged toward Lancer's location.
"Fujino, what about me?" Aoko leaned in, looking at her.
"Didn't you say you'd give me an opponent? Where are they?"
"Isn't there still a Caster? Go on, I'll leave that guy to you. Just remember not to kill Caster; you can do whatever else you want. As for that Serial Killer master, you decide what to do with him yourself."
"What! It's actually that guy?!" Aoko had heard plenty on the news about the Serial Killer who had recently been terrorizing Fuyuki City, but she hadn't expected him to be Caster's Master.
"Aoko, are you okay with this? Can you actually do it? I recall you haven't killed anyone yet," Asagami Fujino said calmly.
"Uh..."
It was exactly as Asagami Fujino said; Aoko's hands had never been stained with another's life.
"Sigh, what a useless little sister," Touko walked over and immediately began mocking her.
"What did you say!" Aoko bristled. "It's just a Serial Killer! I might not be able to strike a normal person, but why would I be afraid of a Serial Killer!"
With that, Aoko angrily went off to find Caster and his Master.
"My, my, she's so easy to manipulate," Touko said with a shrug and a smile.
"Aoko can handle it. Don't worry about that for now; come help me draw the magic circle."
To reach the Ancient City of R'lyeh, one must use the magic circle recorded in Prelati's Spellbook. The circle's power creates a false celestial alignment that matches the unsealing of R'lyeh. This method only opens a small crack in the seal. If she wanted to break the seal completely, Asagami Fujino could rely on the System to buy the full power of the Cosmic Dragon King and then directly manipulate the stars to shift them. However, that would cause Cthulhu's true body to descend, and the Type-Moon World would be instantly destroyed. Asagami Fujino naturally wouldn't do that, as she still had great use for this world.
Besides, the full power of the Cosmic Dragon King was a bit expensive in the System Shop; she couldn't afford it yet.
"My other self, is this all you've got?" Lia brandished her pitch-black holy spear, sending countless spear shadows raining down on Saber.
Struggling to swing her invisible sword, Saber's current situation was dire, and her heart was even more conflicted.
Lia didn't hide her identity at all; the moment she appeared, she told Saber that she was the King Arthur from a parallel world—someone who had made a different choice and chose the holy spear over the sword.
Clang!
"It's time to end this." Lia removed her black helmet and slowly walked up to Saber, looking at this face that was once her own as she spoke softly.
"Pick up your sword for one last strike. Let me see what kind of light the version of me who chose differently can radiate!"
Hearing this, a smile appeared on Saber's face. "Indeed. Let me also see what I am like having chosen the holy spear."
Picking up the sword from the ground, the Invisible Air surrounding the blade dispersed, revealing the sword's true form: Excalibur!
"That's more like it!"
Lia smiled as her pitch-black holy spear erupted with black light. Saber's Excalibur also glowed with golden light.
"Rhongomyniad!"
"Excalibur!"
"Looks like it's over." Watching the two beams of light—one black, one gold—from the release of the Noble Phantasms in the distance, Asagami Fujino knew the battle had ended.
Not far from Asagami Fujino, Alexander the Great and his Master, Waver, were both unconscious atop the battered Gordius Wheel.
"The others are about ready too. It's time to begin. I'm really looking forward to this~"
Gazing down at the ruins from high above, a massive magic circle was inscribed on the land, covered in countless strange, obscure, and incomprehensible patterns.
