The girl lay sleeping in her room surrounded by the soft glow of the morning light peeking through the curtains. The sunlight filtered through the fabric casting a warm golden hue on her face, the rustle of the curtains in the breeze created a soothing melody that seemed to lull her deeper into sleep.
The sound of her alarm echoed in the room promptimg her to lazily stretch her hand to put it off not wanting to be woken up from her seemingly eternal slumber.
'cant someone rest for a little longer' grimacing she sat up slowly as the sound of the outside world started to seep into her consciousness, her gaze started to focus as her eyes fluttered open in a moment of realization, SHE WAS LATE. Cursing she pouned out of bed.
"Saki youre going to be late for school" her mother who was in the kitchen shouted with a hint of concern. "I know" Saki replied immediately. Rushing to put on her clothes she muttered to herself "I already woke up earlier and had my bath, I was just meant to rest for a bit now look at this".
It didn't take long for her to finish up, flying down the stairs she rushed to the kitchen, "Bye mom I will see you after school have a nice day at work" saying that she carried her lunch and sprints out the door.

The radiance of the morning sun spread itself across the street, the cool morning wind caressed the students welcoming them to a new class, quite a number of students were making their way down the slightly sloped road, it wasn't too wide with cherry blossom trees decorating both sides they russled in the wind.
Currently two people were standing at the intersection of the T junction. "Hey Renn, when do you think Taro will come, my legs are killing me" Kenji complained, wiping a few beads of sweat from his forehead he bent forward and crouched a little to let his arms rest on his knees 'ill really give him a talk when he comes'.
"Your one to talk, you just arrived a few minutes ago" Renn retorted raising a hand to massage his glabella "besides he just texted so he should be here any minute."
Looking up at Renn a small frown appeared on kenjis face "you know its already annoying that I have to look up at you all the time but at this position its even more annoying".
Gving him a bland look Renn replied in a flat tone "hey aren't you overexargerrating"
Renn was well above average in terms of height he would probably be about six feet two but Taro and Kenji weren't lagging behind either, the difference wasn't drastic but would be noticed easily.
Kenji was more on the slim side, his fringed dark brown hair that dipped just below his ears and brown eyes that carried an ease that Renn seemed to lack , in contrast Renn had a larger build, with his short dark hair that seemed to have a blue tint under the sunlight barely halfway passed his ears and his deep blue eyes that had a sharp gaze to them.
When Renn spoke there was a bluntness to it, a maturity that didn't quite mask the childish edge underneath. Kenji spoke with the opposite balance, measured and thoughtful, but with a hint of boyishness in his tone like he grew up without fully letting go.
Looking into the distance Renn strained his eyes a bit before his eyes widened slightly, "I guess his here"
Kenji straightened his back and looked forward "finally" he sighed.
He approached them with unhurried strides, black hair barely brushing his shoulders in an uneven wolf cut that fell open at the center hanging just below his ear enough to frame his eyes. They were dark brown, so dark they almost looked black, his gaze was dull and cloudy as if his mind rested somewhere else carrying a faint emptiness of someone habitually lost in thought, he was about the same height as Kenji and his clothes were notably bigger than others.
A lazy smile played on his face as he approached Kenji and Renn, "Hey I made it" Taro said waving his hand in a carefree manner.
"You know you're late right how long did you intend to keep us waiting" Kenji said his tone revealing the fact that he was slightly annoyed
"Well, the past is in the past, at least I'm here now aren't I" Taro said with a gentle smile as he walks towards the school.
"I guess that's just how he is" Renn Sais to himself with a smile as he as he turns to Kenji.
Kenji sighed "I guess you're right, I should really stop worrying myself if not I will grow old"
With a chuckle Renn stepped forward to meet Taro as Kenji followed.

The cherry blossoms danced in the gentle breeze, their petals fluttering like tiny hearts. The warm light from the sun illuminating the bustling trees of Hirakata making the bright pink color of the cherry blossoms shine even brighter oddly blending with the white and grey uniform of the students; the girls with their white button-down shirt grey skirt and tie and the boys with basically the same fit but trousers, as they sparked conversations on their way to school.
Near the gate two girls were standing together; one a little bit smaller than the other.
As she held her bag in front of herself, a bit of exhaustion was drawn on her face Lyla asked "Akari, when do you think she'll be her?" she wasn't short for a girl but then again, she wasn't as tall either. With her dark blonde hair brushing her waist she pointed her hazel eyes at Akari waiting for an answer.
Turning to face Lyla Akari replied "She should be here soon…probably". Akari was average height about the same as Lyla, with chestnut hair that fell down her back like a waterfall and light brown eyes that sparkled with mischief although now they were unfocused as if remembering something. Wearing a thoughtful expression Akari raised her hand to her chin "well she did stay up late watching that series, I told her that would…"
"Akari!" She was interrupted by a voice not too far away.
TAP TAP TAP, an out of breath Saki catches up to the two girls as she tossed her arm around Akari.
"You were late so I was worried you were still in bed." She says as she pulls Saki closer, "Hey I just ran here" Saki complains as she tries to release herself from Akari's grip.
"Lyla help" Saki cries still trying to release herself.
Saki had dark brown hair brushing her shoulders with eyes of matching color, she was about the same height as the both of them while not as shapely as Lyla she didn't have a small frame like Akari she was somewhere in between.
Looking back with annoyance written all over her face Lyla replied sarcastically "That's too bad, my legs are too tired from waiting for a particular person who wouldn't go to bed early".
"sorry" Saki said with a little sincere smile.
"You guys lets go check our classes" Akari said in a joyful tone as she let go of Saki. Although joyful a little bit of worry couldn't help but find itself into her voice, as she turned to the entrance of the school; "KOYO HIGHSCHOOL" written in white paint beside the metal gate, with decorations welcoming the students into a new session.
They walk towards a crowded area packed with students gathered to check their allocated classes, the three of them stood at the back of the restless crowd making it hard for them to see. "Saki please can you help us check our check our classes" Lyla said as a sly smile spread across her face, "huh?" Saki raised an eyebrow looking puzzled. Lyla replies with a smug look on her face" I mean, I and Akari both wear glasses soo…" Saki raises her hand to her face with an awfully disappointed look "I guess I don't have a choice then"
"Thank you, what would we do without you" Lyla teases Saki, "I know right" Akari nods in agreement. "Alright I get it" Saki muttered in an annoyed tone.
Her eyes scanned across the board, as she tries to find their name "umm… I found it we're in the same class" Saki says with relief in her voice, "for real" Akari replies as her eyes widen with excitement "Then I guess we're stuck together this year, right Saki? Oh, I can't wait to have such a fulfilling year with you" Lila said with an excited tone as a little smile drew on her face, her eyes sparkling with an unknown emotion. ~STAAAAAARE~, Saki shot an intense stare at her trying to read her true intentions, not believing what she said. "You guys, let's go to class" Akari said with a bright smile, as she held both their hands, her body facing them while moving backwards to the building.
Of course, it didn't take long before she bumped into someone since she wasn't facing forward.
THUD!
"Ah-" Her vision suddenly tilted before she could realize that she was on her butt.

Jerking forward from the hit, Taro froze for half a second before turning around, his eyes dropping to her on the floor
His gaze was blank for a moment before returning to normal.
"…Akari?"
He sounded a bit surprised, not too startled more like he'd been caught off guard.
"You, okay?" he asked as he stretched out a hand.
Akari's gaze too was blank for a moment she blinked up at him, then laughed lightly.
"Taro!" she exclaimed avoiding all act of trying to contain her excitement "I'm fine, I wasn't looking where I was going"
"Figured"
She took his hand. He pulled her up, steady but careful like he didn't quite know where to place his fingers. Gaining her balance, she brushed her skirt like nothing happened.
"By the way which class are you in?"
, "umm… 2A" Taro replied rambling through his memories. "Hey guys!" Lila exclaimed calling out to the three boys.
"Yoo" Kenji replied waving his hand at Lila and Saki.
"So which class are you guys in" Saki asks with curiosity, "Taro and I are in class 2A" Kenji replies.
"While I'm stuck alone in class 2B" Renn complains. "Don't worry it will be alright" Lila says to Renn, "Are you in class my class" Renn asked with a glimmer of hope in his eyes.
"No way, I'm in the same class with these two class 2C" Lila replies with a little smile across her face.
"Way to ruin my morning" Renn says as all his hope had suddenly crushed.
Unable to contain his laugh Kenji patted him on the shoulder.
"I guess those two have gotten closer" Saki mentioned staring at Taro and Akari
"I know right" Kenji agreed with her nodding his head.
"I guess you two have gotten closer as well, don't you think" Lila tells Taro,
"I guess so" Taro replies with a calm voice as he glances at Akari before checking his watch"Its almost time for the opening ceremony, we should hurry to class first" raising his head to look at everyone.
"Oh, you're right" Kenji replied as they began to walk towards the school building
"We're going to meet up during lunch" Saki announced, "Alright" everyone replies in agreement, as they walk into the school building.
**The blue sky, calm weather and bustling atmosphere had welcomed us into the first day of our second year**
