"Lion." I motioned for him to leave and he stood up. "Let's go." He helped Kai stand and their personal servants helped Kai out. The rest of the children left as well.
"How dare you hit me in front of the children?" I chuckled. "Wow, a year of acting has really messed your brain, hasn't it?" I raise my hand and slap him again. "I haven't settled the score with you because I wanted to wait. Instead of keeping your mouth shut and waiting, you thought I didn't see it as a big issue since there was no movement on my end." I slap him again as he spat blood.
He stepped back. "Poloria! Enough of this madness!" He shouted. "You married me, brought your bastard children and refused to let me touch you!" I chuckle, moved forward and grabbed his throat. He tried to struggle as I removed his mask. "So that's what you look like under there." I pushed him away and dropped the mask on the ground.
He immediately touched his face, his eyes wild. "I didn't give you permission." He said but then realized something and removed his hands from his face. "Permission to do what? See my husband's face? I didn't think, you and your mother were really this stupid." I couldn't help but to chuckle.
"What are you talking about?" He asked, watching me with weary eyes. "I believe that you are overestimating your plan or underestimating me. Either way, I don't like it. Makes it seem as though I don't know my husband." I reply lightly.
"I am your husband, but you're pretending as though you are not my wife." I clicked my tongue. "I'm surprised. You are a lot more stable than I thought you were. I'll give you that much credit." I take a step forward. "But you aren't going against a regular person here. Didn't your mother warn you?"
He turned and ran. I look at Bira. "She's here." I nod. "Just in time." I walk out of the garden and follow the frantic footsteps. He was being guided to the training area unknowingly.
I step onto the training area and watch him. He turns to me. "Even if you roamed around the Continent. It's impossible to know certain things." I nod. "You're right. When I first left home, I thought of that too and built my own intelligence." His eyes widened. "You're the owner of Pendant Tower."
"Bonus point for King Dmitri." I slowly walk towards him. "I'm your husband, Grand Prince Kasian, the Jade Prince!" I nod. "Sure. Then, I'm the Queen Mother." He stepped back, fear carved on his face. "You can't kill me. Mother won't let you get away with it." He was sweating and looking around for an escape route.
"I can't? When you blocked my husband's martial arts, cut his tendons and hung him up in the depths of the Palace as though he were a display, why didn't you think that I would kill you?" His eyes widened and he dropped to the floor.
"Even if you know, so what? You're married to me!" I smile and lean down. "The one that I completed the ceremony with, is your brother. The one who exhausted my energy in the bedchambers that night, was also your brother. How am I married to you?"
"You slept with him? I thought you said you didn't share a room, let alone see each other's faces?!" He yelled angrily. "If I wanted to marry you, why would I change it to your brother instead? He's better than you in every aspect. Face, body, skills. Do I need to elaborate or do you wish to hear about how he tied me to the bed until my wrists were sore?"
He reached out to grab my neck, and I slapped his hand away. "I knew your mother's plan the moment she sent a letter to my mother asking for a marriage alliance. My mother's soft spoken, not stupid." I stand up.
"Why do all of this for my brother? He's just a man who you slept with once." I smile down at him. "What about you? Why are you so deep in your own deception that you don't realize I never tried to get close to you despite our clear show of affection in front of you in the Palace?" He opened his mouth to speak but closed it again.
"I was planning on playing with you for a while longer, but you just had to touch my child. My heart nearly stopped when I saw him lying in the bed with that long gash across his body. I almost annihilated the entire Palace myself but then I thought that it wouldn't be much fun." I move to the side and glance at the man that walked in.
"Right? Dear husband of mine?" Dmitri's eyes filled with horror as he saw the face of his brother. "You were on the verge of death." He whispered to himself desperately. "Stop." He shook his head and pushed himself back. "STOP!" He yelled as Kasian got closer.
I took a step forward and stomped down on his ankle and he yelled out in pain. "Please! Please!" Dmitri began begging. "Please! I didn't want to do it! It was mother! It was all mother! Don't do this, please!" I put my entire body weight on his ankle, and he screamed out in pain.
"Ria." Kasian called out to me. "What?" He reached out like he was about to touch my cheek, but his fingers curled just before touching me. I moved back quickly. "Let me see your face." He demanded. I chuckled. "Malek." Malek appeared from the shadows but was stopped by Serin.
"You want to see my face at a time like this? And who is he?" I asked, looking at Serin. Kasian watched me, looking for a reaction. When he didn't find the one he was looking for, he waved his hand and Serin moved to the side.
"My personal bodyguard. He's been running errands and only met up with me while I was recovering." I nod and look away from him. "How do you plan to deal with him and his mother?" Kasian didn't say anything as I kicked Dmitri's ankle. "I don't know." He finally said.
Typical.
"I waited for you to return, so you could back up your wife and children, but it was wishful thinking. I should've dealt with it myself and saved you the trouble. Clearly you're useless." Malek threw his sword to me and I caught it. I was about to unsheathe it when Kasian hit the hilt.
"I didn't say that I wouldn't deal with it. I only said I didn't know how." I punched him in the chest and he stumbled back, Serin supported him. "You don't know?" I asked as I unsheathed the sword. "Princess. My master is still-." I glare at him. "Stop using that useless thing before I really make it useless."
I stab the sword into the ankle I stood on, and Dmitri screamed out in pain. "Stop! Stop Please!" I twist it. "PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!!!" I pull the sword out and slice off his toes. "Ria, that's enough."
I take out a pill and roughly stuff it in Dmitri's mouth while ignoring Kasian. He wasn't stepping forward so, ignoring him is for the best. I raise the sword again, ready for the next leg. "I said ENOUGH!" Kasian shouted. I turn to look at him.
I didn't say anything and stabbed the sword straight through the other ankle. The cracking of bones, the squelching sound of flesh being torn open and the gushing sound of blood filled the air.
"Grand Prince Kasian Relia, The Jade Prince." I twist the sword as he stepped forward and it made him stop. "Husband of the Eldest daughter of the Palk Kingdom." I twist the sword again. "Refuses to deal with the man that nearly kill his children."
I pull out the sword. "One day." I walk past him and give Malek's his sword. I stop in front of Serin. "Name?" He bowed. "Serin." I glance at Kasian. "Tell your good for nothing Master that I'll give him a day. If things aren't done to my satisfaction, I'll kill him myself."
