Chapter 259 - The Re-Broadcast of "Puny God"

"Defeat me! Then I will acknowledge that your status is above mine, and I will have no further complaints from this day forward!"

"If you cannot defeat me, then immediately get away from Peter's side—"

Before her words could even finish, she felt Peter's gaze sweep over like a blade. This caused her to instinctively shrink her neck, her originally incomparably domineering aura diminishing by thirty percent out of thin air:

"Then from now on... you all must listen to me!"

Slap~

Seeing Sif stubbornly insisting on courting death, Peter couldn't resist slapping his forehead helplessly.

Forget it! Since she absolutely insisted on courting death, he would just fulfill her wish.

Thinking this way, Peter tilted his head to look at Gwen and Felicia. Exactly as he expected, after the two ladies exchanged a glance, combat intent visibly surfaced within their eyes.

Felicia was the first to make a response. She licked her lips, and in the next split second, her cat ears and cat tail all emerged. She gently licked the sharp claws protruding from her hands, flashing a wildly fierce, cat-like smile:

"Interesting." She turned her head to look at Peter, her eyes like silk. "Darling, can I beat her up?"

What could Peter possibly say to this? He could only spread his hands toward her, indicating:

"If you want to fight, go to the dance studio... Ah, no, if you want to fight, go to an empty place to fight."

...

In the yard.

Felicia reached out and tapped her chest, and the blue-gold Vibranium battlesuit instantly covered her entire body.

Immediately following, the symbiote suit "Tides" within her body acted like a living creature, coating itself over the battlesuit to provide a second layer of amplification.

The opponent was, after all, a goddess from Asgard, which sounded like an existence that wouldn't be easy to deal with. Previously, when they had battled the Inheritors, she had witnessed with her own eyes the scene of the opponent head-on shaking an Inheritor; therefore, she didn't harbor the slightest intent of underestimating her enemy.

"In consideration of the fact that you are merely a mortal, I will grant you three moves first." Sif tapped her longsword against the shield in her hand, a face full of haughtiness.

Facing the opponent's proud posture, Felicia smiled. She didn't stubbornly argue back, but merely raised her own speed to the absolute limit.

So fast!

Sif's pupils shrank violently. Relying almost entirely on her thousand-times-tempered combat instinct, she hoisted the circular shield in her hand across her chest.

Clang—!

An ear-splitting sound of metal clashing resonated. An unimaginable torrent of immense force transmitted over from the shield, shaking Sif's entire arm to the point of temporary numbness. She staggered backward two steps before barely stabilizing her form.

Meanwhile, Felicia's silhouette had already materialized behind her like a ghost.

"Too slow." "Is this the speed of an Asgardian Valkyrie? It's exactly like a snail crawling."

Taunting voices transmitted from all directions, as if countless Felicias were speaking simultaneously.

Sif turned around in fury, sweeping her sword out horizontally. The fierce sword-wind tore the air apart, emitting a piercing whistle.

But it missed. She only struck a lingering afterimage left behind by Felicia.

"Your reaction isn't up to par either." Felicia's voice echoed once more. This time, it was right above her head.

Sif snapped her head up, only to see Felicia hanging upside down from the eaves. Like a true black cat, she looked down at her from a high vantage point, her eyes full of playfulness.

"Dammit!" Sif roared, her feet suddenly exerting force. Her entire being shot into the sky like a cannonball, the longsword in her hand piercing straight toward Felicia.

For this strike, she utilized her full strength. She believed that even a giant dragon's scales wouldn't be able to obstruct this strike infused with divine power!

However, facing this seemingly certain-to-hit strike, Felicia neither dodged nor evaded. She merely extended a single hand, spreading her five fingers to meet that sharp sword-tip.

"Court death!" A look of harshness flashed across Sif's eyes.

But in the next split second, the expression on her face shifted from rage to shock. Because Felicia suddenly opened her mouth, emitting a stream of beautiful singing.

That singing was distinctly exceptional to listen to, yet it hit Sif's ears with incomparable sharpness, even causing her to instinctively feel her scalp go numb. She couldn't resist halting her movements, reaching out to cover her ears.

Immediately following, the water within the swimming pool behind her seemed to come alive, transforming into countless long whips that swept toward Sif in a roiling torrent. Within just the blink of an eye, it bound Sif's hands and feet clean.

"To think it would be this sturdy?!" Sif's face was written full of disbelief.

She had previously seen Felicia utilize the ability to manipulate water currents during the grand battle, but at that time, the water current only served an auxiliary purpose for offense; she therefore hadn't expected this thing to be so exceptionally troublesome.

She, the dignified Valkyrie of Asgard, was actually unable to snap these whips composed of water currents.

This momentary error in judgment was sufficient to determine the direction of the battle. With her offensive momentum obstructed and unable to use her circular shield to parry, Sif stood zero chance of turning her hand against Felicia's full-force palm strike.

She was sent flying directly by Felicia's palm, her form crashing heavily down into the swimming pool.

The water inside the pool enveloped her tightly, rapidly forming a rigorous water prison. No matter how immense her strength was, she could not break free from it. It wasn't until Felicia halted her singing that she was able to struggle out of the swimming pool.

Aside from panting heavily, her face was written full of shock and frustration. She had actually been defeated at the hands of a mortal woman—defeated so thoroughly, so decisively, without even touching a single corner of the opponent's clothes.

Meanwhile, Felicia slowly lowered herself from the eaves, the symbiote suit and Vibranium battlesuit receding like a tide to re-expose her exquisite facial features. She walked before Sif, looking down from a high vantage point to replicate Hulk's classic scene against Loki:

"Puny god~!"

"Now, do you acknowledge me as your big sister?"

Sif bit her lip, her face turning green and white in turns. But she, after all, wasn't a goddess who couldn't afford to lose.

Thus, gnashing her teeth and stamping her foot, she closed her eyes and hollered out "Big Sister" in a voice like a mosquito's hum.

After calling Felicia "Big Sister," Sif remained unwilling to give up. In order to reclaim her dignity, her gaze locked dead onto Gwen next!

Being controlled by that woman named Felicia using water currents—an ability that could be said to perfectly counter her close-quarters combat style—she accepted it! But as for that one named Gwen, she could definitely win!

"I admit I am no match for her! But I can definitely defeat you!"

Listening to this silly girl's provocative words, Peter once again couldn't resist slapping his forehead helplessly. This silly girl truly lacked even a single shred of situational awareness.

To this, Gwen wasn't angry either, merely putting on her two battle suits just like Felicia had. And subsequently, another battle with zero suspense erupted.

The strength Sif took pride in was merely a notch stronger than the battlesuit-clad Gwen. But Gwen possessed a Spider-Sense that rivaled Observation Haki, allowing her to easily dodge Sif's offenses.

Even if she encountered an attack that truly couldn't be avoided, the defense of the Vibranium battlesuit wasn't inferior in the slightest to that longsword mixed with Uru metal.

Conversely, Gwen could use her webs to easily restrict Sif's mobility.

Consequently, in less than thirty seconds, Sif was wrapped into a massive rice dumpling by Gwen. She could only lie flat on the ground, squirming while calling out with incomparable humiliation:

"Big Sister, I yield!"

When Peter kindly helped her untie the webs over her body, this silly girl couldn't even care less about speaking to Peter anymore. Covering her face, she left Peter's house in a flash.

Today's incidents had violently wounded her self-esteem as a goddess! Special training—she absolutely had to go back and undergo severe special training!
