A man, wearing a handkerchief wrapped around his face and a cap pulled low over his head, quietly approached from behind and stole another man's wallet.
But the man whose wallet was taken had a strong, well-built body. Realizing what had happened, he immediately began chasing the thief, shouting to the people around him for help.
A man shouted, "Someone stop him! That bastard is running away with my wallet!
Please, someone stop him!
Stop right there, you thief… stop!!"
Both of them were running down the same road… when suddenly, the thief took a sharp turn toward a crossing point.
Because of that sudden move, the man chasing him accidentally bumped into someone — and the person he collided with was none other than the main protagonist of our story.
"Hello… I'm the narrator of this story."
"And this… is Rishab."
A 17-year-old boy.
But there's something strange about him.
It's almost as if he has a personal grudge against Saturdays… or maybe Saturdays have one against him.
Because every single time Saturday arrives, his bad luck begins.
Not small, ordinary bad luck… no.
The kind that makes you question whether fate itself is playing games.
His brother, Lakshu, knows this all too well.
That's why he warned him countless times—
"Don't go outside on Saturdays."
But tell me…
When has a human ever listened to something they were strictly forbidden from doing?
And so…
Rishab didn't listen.
And now—
He's facing the consequences of that very choice.
Oh, and one more thing…
The year is 2024
Rishab: "Huh...! Is it happening again? Has it started again... just like always...?"
"H...aaah... ha... aah...
( Tham...!! )
Rishab: "Ahh... m... where am I...?"
"Huh?!"
The moment Rishab turned his head to the left, he saw a car-just 15 centimeters away-rushing straight toward him at full speed.
Right before his eyes, not only his death stood waiting... but also the memories of his brother flashed vividly in his mind.
In the next scene, everything happened in a blur.
The speeding car slammed into Rishab, and the world seemed to freeze for a split second before he was thrown onto the ground.
A sharp, unbearable pain shot through his body. It felt like something inside him had broken, his chest tightening as he struggled to breathe. His legs refused to move, completely out of his control, as if they no longer belonged to him.
His vision blurred, and a heavy ringing filled his ears. A deep ache pulsed through his head, making it hard to even think.
Rishab lay there, motionless, the sky spinning above him.
Rishab lost consciousness right then, unable to endure the overwhelming pain and the steady loss of blood.
The darkness of the night deepened, and soon a crowd began to gather around the scene. Some people stood frozen in place, shocked by what they were witnessing, while others pulled out their phones and started recording videos.
Time passed... slowly, almost cruelly.
Hours went by, yet no one stepped forward to truly help. The crowd only grew larger, whispers spreading, curiosity overpowering concern.
Eight long hours slipped away, but the scene remained the same-Rishab lying there, unmoving, surrounded by strangers.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the distant sound of an ambulance broke through the noise of the crowd.
Ambulance staff hurriedly placed Rishab inside the vehicle. As soon as he was laid on the stretcher, he regained consciousness for just a couple of seconds. In that brief moment, his blurry eyes caught sight of two doctors standing over him—both looking tense, confused, and slightly frightened.
Before he could understand anything, his vision faded, and his eyes slowly shut again.
When he lost consciousness, it felt as if he had entered an entirely different space. A vast, endless void stretched around him, filled with countless shimmering stars. The sight was breathtakingly beautiful, almost mesmerizing.
But after a while… something about that space began to feel different
Rishab: "Where is this place…? And where is the ground? It feels like I'm falling somewhere… but what is this place?"
Before Rishab could think any further, his eyes suddenly opened. His vision was still hazy, but he could make out a doctor speaking to his brother nearby.
Female Doctor: "Mr. Lakshu, the chances of your brother surviving this accident were absolutely zero. Yet… he survived. This is nothing short of a miracle. It almost feels like it was God's will that saved him. Despite having both legs dislocated, a severe head injury, and multiple fractures in his chest, he is still alive. What's even more surprising is that his recovery rate is unusually fast. At this pace, it seems your brother might recover within just a few months."
Lakshu: "I… see. If that's the case, then it's good news that my brother is recovering well."
Doctor: "That's not exactly the point, Lakshu…"
Lakshu: "What do you mean? If my brother is getting better, then what's the problem?"
Doctor: "Hmm… yes, that's true as well. But—"
Just then, a nurse approached them.
Nurse: "Mr. Lakshu, your room is ready."
The doctor paused for a moment, then spoke calmly.
Doctor: "Mr. Lakshu, for now, you should go and rest in your room. Your brother will recover soon."
Lakshu: "C… can I meet my brother before going to my room?"
Doctor: "Alright, you can. But don't trouble him too much. He's still not in a condition to speak."
Lakshu: "Okay… I understand. I'll keep that in mind."
As Lakshu was walking towards his brother's room, something unusual caught his attention. A group of people were dragging away a madman down the corridor. The man struggled wildly in their grip, his eyes wide and filled with fear.
Despite being restrained, he kept shouting the same words over and over again to everyone around him…
Madman: "This world… this hospital… these people… none of it is reeeaaal! Let me go! Leave me! I'm not crazy… please, let me go!"
The man's voice echoed through the corridor, filled with desperation and panic, as he struggled against those holding him.
Male Nurse: "Enoughhh...of your nonsense! Be quiet and come with us."
Watching everything unfold, a cold, unreadable expression settled on Lakshu's face. Without even glancing at the madman, he continued walking toward his brother's room.
A faint shadow lingered over his face, making his presence feel distant and almost intimidating-so much so that no one around him dared to look at him
Lakshu (murmuring to himself): "I didn't expect... that a madman would say something so profound about this world..."
Lakshu finally reached his brother's room. As he pushed the door open, his eyes swept across the ward. There were several other patients inside—each of them injured in one way or another, some with broken arms, others with bandaged heads or fractured limbs.
At the very end of the room, on the last bed, lay his brother… the most severely injured among them all.
Without saying a single word, Lakshu walked up to him. He stopped beside the bed and stood there in complete silence, his presence calm yet heavy, as if lost in his own thoughts.
Lakshu: "My name is Lakshu. I'm 18 years old… and I'm Rishab's elder brother.
We met in an orphanage. Before that, I used to work at a place under a man… someone I never truly considered my master. He forced me into a place where leaving was forbidden—where there was no freedom… a place where I couldn't even see the outside world.
But everything changed when I reached that orphanage. That's where I met Rishab. He was extremely timid back then… always scared of everything.
Yet somehow, without even realizing it, we became so close… so inseparable… that one day, we just started calling each other brothers.
That very day, in that very orphanage, we made a promise. We tied red friendship bands on each other's wrists and said… from now on, we are brothers.
After that, we ran away together… and started building our future side by side. No matter what problems came our way, we faced everything—together."
Lakshu (softly): "But… I never thought that one day, I would have to see my brother—the one I've been with for so long—like this…"
His voice grew faint as the words left his lips. Standing beside the bed, he looked at Rishab's injured body, his eyes filled with a quiet pain he couldn't express.
For a moment, the room felt completely silent… as if even time itself had stopped, leaving Lakshu alone with his thoughts and the weight of reality.
Lakshu: "Rishab… I'll go now. I'll come back to see you again."
"…b-bye… Rishab…"
With those broken words, Lakshu turned around and slowly walked out of the room, leaving behind a heavy silence.
As soon as Lakshu left, Rishab's eyes slowly opened.
But all he could see was darkness… complete darkness. His vision was blocked by the bandages wrapped tightly around his eyes.
His hands, legs, and even his head were covered in bandages, restricting his movement. He couldn't look around… couldn't even tell what was happening near him.
All he could feel was the weight of his own body… and the suffocating silence surrounding him.
Rishab : a.....h....w.....
Rishab (in his mind): "It seems... I can't even speak. Maybe my throat was injured in the accident too... that's why no voice is coming out...
Hmm... what am I supposed to do in this state...?
But why is this pain... so intense...?
Wait... it's getting worse... it's increasing...
No... no... this is too much..."
A sharp wave of pain spread through his entire body, growing stronger with every passing second. Every breath felt heavy, and even the slightest movement sent jolts of agony through him.
There was no strange change... no sudden miracle-just unbearable pain, trapping him in complete darkness.
Rishab: "Hnn… mmmhh… mhh… mmmhhh…"
His muffled groans echoed faintly as his body trembled under the unbearable pain.
Rishab (in his mind): "If this pain keeps increasing like this… I might actually die from it…"
Rishab: "Haf… haf… m… me…"
His breathing turned heavy and uneven, each breath feeling like a struggle. Unable to endure the pain any longer, his body finally gave in… and he lost consciousness.
The people around him, who had been watching, were left shocked and frightened. Confusion spread across their faces as panic slowly began to rise—no one could understand what was happening to him.
One of the people nearby quickly ran to call a doctor before it got too late. He hurriedly explained everything.
The doctor came and checked Rishab immediately...
But after a few moments, he frowned.
He couldn't find anything wrong.
Everything seemed
After everything settled down, everyone returned to their places.
At around 11 PM, Rishab slowly opened his eyes again.
But this time… the pain he had felt earlier was completely gone.
Realizing this, Rishab fell into slight confusion.
Rishab (in his mind): "My head still hurts a little… but it's nothing compared to the pain I felt earlier. What exactly happened to me back then…? And now suddenly, it feels like nothing even happened…
Hmm… maybe it's night time. That's why I can't hear anything or see any light… these bandages are covering my eyes after all…"
(He exhales slowly)
"Huhh… but I need to go to the bathroom too… what should I do now? These bandages are so tight… haaahh… what should I… do…"
Akhir me kya karuuu hannnnnn
Rishab : koi meri madad karo
Rishab ye apne muh se bolta hai
Rishab (in his mind): "What should I do now…? I need to do something quickly before it's too late…"
Scene shifts to Lakshu.
Suddenly, a loud scream echoes through the corridor—
"Sommeonee, helpp mmeeee!"
