Di (mimics): "Call me if you need anything"
Laughing lightly to himself, sleeps on the cold yet warm bed of his. Next morning, Di totally forgot what all happened yesterday but remembered just that line of Kine. Smiling, he walks out of his room and goes to the kitchen where that smile vanished and fear replaced it. Pouring himself a glass of water avoided any eye contact. Di's father who stood there drinking his coffee says,
Di's father (with an evil intention in his tone) : Was he your boyfriend yesterday? I think your mom...
Di (hurriedly) : He isn't my boyfriend and don't tell mom about it.
Di's father: Protective huh!? Wanna really protect him? Then do as I say (He then drew himself closer of Di's back sniffing his neck)
Di :(crying and moaningly) Please don't...stop it....this isn't ethical..
He ignores whatever Di said and takes Di's hand inside of his pants
Di (disgusted and teary): Nooo... (Almost in tears) Don't do this please.....
Di's father (jerking off using Di's hand and moaning) : Don't you like to do all of this stuff with boys, why pretend now.....?
Di continues to weep helplessly. Meanwhile Di's father licks and sucks the back of Di's neck and shoulders and even bites him, scolds him to do it properly and roughly. After all of it was finished after an hour,
Di's father (panting) : Good boy. Clean the kitchen properly and prepare breakfast. Let's have breakfast together today (pats his head with an evil smile on his face)
As that monster stepped away Di ran into his room, full of disgust, and went straight into the shower. Weeping and crying helplessly, he stood there, locked himself inside his room for the whole day and didn't step out to eat or drink.
The next morning,
Di's father: Di won't you open. Your dad's waiting..... (Phone rings, on phone) Yes Ok sir Yeah I'll be ready. (To Di) Son, open up we don't have all day anyway I have to go out in the evening and won't be back till Wednesday, could you please come out now?
Di sobbing inside the room didn't open up until he heard the main door being closed in the evening. He came out of his room. Di kinda relaxed to have the whole of the house by himself, looks at his phone from all sides, smirks and then closes his eyes. Suddenly he's back.... The door opens, Di suddenly turns back to see his father was back!?
Di's father : Don't worry honey I'm just back for my phone not to do anything to you (and looked at Di's face sweated with fear, smirks)
After he left, there was only peace that flooded the place. But the clock that hung on the ceiling added tension to the peace. The day passed and it was Monday again. Di reaches school later than usual just to avoid any interactions with Kine about what happened back at his home. After marking his attendance when Di was about to leave the staff room, coincidently Kine was to enter. Almost bumped into each other
Di and Kine (together) : I'm sorry I didn't.....(Sees each other's face) Oh it's you!
Both of them stare at each other for a while smiling appreciating each other in their minds (Di's heart pounding) until the bell rang. Realising,
Both of them (flustered) : See you later.
Di's smile didn't confirm Kine's satisfaction yet he waited for the break. Kine peeps from his class's window while teaching, into Di's class, checking if he's ok. When their class was over and there was an exchange of teachers for the next period. Kine really hard tried to talk to Di but couldn't
Kine (to himself) : Seriously, can't the universe just create one moment where this poor fellow can meet his crush. Huhhh (sighs)
During the break, Di talked to Ms. Fervor. Ms. Fervor continued to talk for long …
Kine (in his mind) : What's taking her so long? Can't she leave my poor baby?!
Di notices Kine waiting, to which he makes something up and escapes Ms. Fervor. Di literally runs to Kine. They were close now in the crowded corridor full of students.
Kine : That day... (The bell rang indicating the break was over)
Kine and Di smile over their fate and head to their classes. After the school was over, Kine couldn't wait anymore, he ran just to meet Di.
Kine (catching his breath) : Finally....found you.
Di (chuckles) : Have some water. (Offers Kine his very own bottle)
Kine while drinking water notices Di a bit sad. Kine asks Di with his eyes
Di (sadly) : Actually this is my first official teacher's meet, and I've been asked to present the updates and tell about each students' performance in the class but they won't come to school often. Also I don't know them by their names but faces. What would I do? (sad again)
Kine (thinks) : I think I got it.
D's eyes lightens up with hope looking eagerly at Kine
Kine (explains) : See during the teachers' meeting you sit beside me, fine. When the director will ask for the report he is gonna ask by taking each student's name. If you know, just answer and if you don't just look at me I'll explain it to him. That's it you see.
Di (impressed) : Yeah brilliant! But wait I'm their assigned teacher and if I don't answer won't he be suspicious of me not being a good one.
Kine : Don't worry we'll explain the truth to him if he asks. He's a good person and he won't question much. (He assures Di)
Everything went as planned, he was even asked the way Kine explained.
Di (in his mind) : What a brilliant, smart, kind, handsome guy he is! Would he despise me if he knew who I really am?
He was snapped back to reality by the director's question to him.
Director: Mr. Dipole, why does Mr. Kinematics know more about your students than you yourself?
Di : I'm sorry sir, you know about the study culture these days, students won't come to school to study but will appear for tests. How am I going to know them while Mr. Kinematics has taught them in the past so he knows much more than me.
Director: Alright, Mr. Dipole you're spared this time but we hope students are more influenced to come to school because of you.
Di : Thank you so much sir.
The meeting ends.
Kine : You were awesome back there.
Di : See who's spouting this.
Kine : I mean seriously you....
Di (interrupts) : Thank you. Like I mean it really. (Kine smiles)
Di : You can ask me for anything you like, (Making a cute face) but should be inside my budget you know ….(and smiled)
Kine (giggles) (In his mind) : How cute. (In front) : Alright.
Then he suddenly recalls he had to ask Di about that night. And of course he asks away
Kine : So really, can I ask for anything?
Di : Hmm ….
Kine : Is it ok if I ask about your dad? You know, last day...
Di (serious) : You wanna know about my past?
Kine (hurriedly) : Only if you're comfortable. I won't force you.
Di (smiles with an understanding) : I'll tell you everything but promise me nothing will change between us.
Kine : You'll always have me.
Di (doesn't expect Kine to understand him really well but still tells him) : Actually the person you met that day, wasn't actually my real father but my stepfather whom my mother married after my dad died.
