A few days passed in a mist and class XI had their final exams ongoing.
GENERAL POV, CORRIDOR SCENE
Except for the shipper gang and the shipper teachers, the rest of the students were least bothered to look into the problems of the teachers as they were already stressed by the exams.
A month passed, Kine and Torque were still inseparable in the eyes of everyone. Di and Kine distanced a lot. Di found himself in a trio of himself and two other maths teachers, coming to school together everyday and going back home, they were car pooling.
Once Kine had to attend a commitment at home so he didn't come to school. Di was too swamped correcting the answer scripts to notice any noise but he still missed, Kine being nosy and disturbing him all the time. He took a long breath and sighed.
DI's POV
Di : (sighs) Can this day be any longer...?
Fer : (intrudes) As if it was any shorter to begin with….
Di was somewhat taken aback but not enough to shock him. He turns to listen to Fer, who too was exhausted by the long day and was missing Kine's presence.
DI AND FER's POV
Fer : Kine sure annoys us a lot, gets on our nerve but this silence is more intimidating… (acts irritated)
Di : I just hope it gets a bit better enough to survive…
Torque : You guys missing Kinematics…..?
DI, FER AND TORQUE's POV
Fer (murmurs) : BETTER?! Can't get any worse….
Torque : I'm missing him too. His smile, his annoyed face, his cute dimples, that pookie....
Di : (hastily gets up from the bench in the corridor on which he was sitting) I'll go out to get some fresh air and stretch a bit…
Fer : Wait… I'll join you too, can't let myself suffocate here…
Di and Fer move out and go to the playground.
TORQUE's POV
Torque (annoyed) : At least they can be a bit nice. How rude….!
GENERAL POV
The day got no better and ended. The next day, there were no classes because of the session break but correction of answer scripts was exhausting. Kine arrived a bit earlier than the school timing.
KINE's POV
The corridor was empty, Kine closed his eyes and immersed himself in the old memories when he was all playful with the teachers in the corridor. Now that Torque was a threat to him, he kept his distance with others so Torque doesn't drag them with his mess.
Kine (to himself) : This already feels like a loop.... (sighs) Why does this suffering never end....?
Bemin (calmly) : (stood at the back of Kine) How ridiculous of you to say that?
BEMIN AND KINE's POV
Kine turns to face Bemin. Bemin continues.
Bemin : Listen son….. if you keep on ignoring people like this…. There'll be several out there to say the same. Back then it was Henry, now it's Torque and in future it would be somebody else. How long do you think you can dodge them all? What I'm saying is don't dodge but fight them once and after that you'll have the perfect answer to all those threats…. Do you get it…? And always remember all of us are there for you, me other teachers and ....(clears his throat) (mumbles) your beloved…(gives him a small shy smile)
Kine too smiles, embarrassed. He turns to run out of the corridor. His eyes met his apple's who just entered with his trio. They walked towards each other.
Author : Just a small insight; Kine never walked. I mean every time one would see him going somewhere, they would find him running and not walking. (the principal reason his name is Kinematics)
So while Di slowly walked towards Kine; Kine ran towards Di. As soon as they reached close,
DI AND KINE's POV
Di (softly) : Stop staring at me like that….
Kine : (softly replies) If not you then whom….huh?
Both of 'em turn their faces away and blush so red. Kine was so immersed in his thoughts that he almost forgot to make his attendance. He rushes there to do so.
GENERAL POV
If a teacher is unable to do so before the school starts his pay for the day is deducted. It was already five minutes past the school timing but Torque was not yet inside the school premises. It wasn't like anyone cared but even a wise man looked out for his foe.
Kine returned back to his work as he usually did when Torque's around. Kine sat on his table going through answer scripts.
KINE's POV
Kine felt a warm breath on his neck. This scent… calming and relaxing. He closes his eyes to stay in that moment before it loses its essence.
KINE AND DI's POV
After a few moments of feeling that instance, Kine turned his face towards the direction of the source of that warm feeling. There was Di with his puppy eyes staring at the answer script Kine was going through.
Di (assuring) : Relax... nobody here opposes this moment of peace of ours… anyways tell me this, here this answer…..
GENERAL POV
Nobody knew, not even Kine knew but he felt a sudden surge of love and kissed Di on his cheek. Di, taken aback by that, shied off, looked around if anyone saw this. He was more surprised to see everyone in the corridor was blushing and trying hard to hide that smile of adoration. He turned his face back towards Kine.
Expecting to find him flustered or at least a bit embarrassed, he met with something entirely different. Kine's face had no shyness, instead, his expression was heavy with a quiet, proprietary look. That look screamed possessiveness and rightful ownership.
Unlike him, Di was still embarrassed. He went back to his table and tried really hard to concentrate. Half of the day passed in not much commotion. Then someone from the end of the corridor came in, leaving everyone in a daze. Torque entered with a quiet and stressed composure.
Kine walked upto him not out of care but to confront his threats.
Kine (serious) : Hey you listen, I'm not…..
Torque gestured at him to stop and wait for a few moments. He drank water from his water bottle and went away without replying to Kine. Kine, rather confused, went back to his seat and continued his work.
Fer (serious and loud enough for everyone to hear) : Teachers here I've the new session's plan. Kindly come and have a look.
The new session's plan included the classes teachers are assigned to and their new homeroom along with the teachers who were promoted or demoted of their roles.
Kine rushed as fast as he could and skimmed the sheet. He stopped at a point and his curious gaze turned furious.
Kine (furious) : Why the ….. Why are you even demoted for…?!
