The moonlight filtered through the high windows of the safe room, casting long shadows that seemed to dance as the three brothers sat together for the first time in 3 years. The air was thick with the scent of memories.
"I have a lot of... questions... how did you... survive what happened?" Elias asked, his voice trembling and filled with confusion.
Zane leaned back, and took a deep breath. "When we were attacked, I fought the alien . He was strong... I couldn't stop him," Zane admitted, his gaze fixed on his scarred palms. "Then after his final attack. The world went blank. I thought I was dead... the last thing I saw was him going after Tyson". He took a deep, jagged breath. "When I woke up, I was in the regenerative gel of the Xenocides. I was saved by a man ("dock von") .
I decided then that I would have revenge. I spent all those years climbing the ranks, power, and molding my body into a weapon".
Elias turned to Tyson, whose amber eyes reflected the dim lamp light. "All this time... I thought you were gone. Tyson, what about you?"
"After I was attacked by that alien... I managed to escape the immediate blast," Tyson said, his voice calmer,. "I spent years on the Street s, shifting, surviving.
Then I saw Zane had joined the Xenocides. He was everywhere—appearing on the billboards and the giant screens in the city centers. I recognized that cold stare anywhere. I located him, and we've been working together in the shadows ever since".
Elias felt a tear roll down his cheek, but he was smiling. "All this time... you were alive".
"Don't be all emotional," Tyson teased, though his own eyes were glassy.
"Huh... but you just cried!" Elias pointed out.
"No... I didn't!" Tyson countered, and for a moment, they weren't the three lost brothers ; they were just three brothers laughing in the dark.
6:00 AM: The Awakening of the 10th
The morning sun began to creep over the jagged horizon of the 10th Division base. The peace lasted exactly until Nyx stepped out of her room, bleary-eyed and holding a toothbrush. She looked at the kitchen table, saw the Second-in-Command of the entire Xenocide force sitting there eating toast, and let out a scream that vibrated the plumbing.
"HAAAAAA!"
Doors slammed open instantly. Sloane appeared with a medical scanner raised like a weapon; Rook burst through his door, accidentally tearing the handle off the frame. Mikasa was already holding her , dual daggers
"HAAAAAA!" the rest of the team echoed as they saw the guest.
"Sir... Commander Zane... and Elias?" Sloane stammered, .
"Good morning to you too," Elias said, sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck.
Vela walked in, already halfway through a breakfast burrito. She stopped chewing, looked at Zane, then at Tyson, then at Elias. "Em.. what's going on"
"Well long story but this are my brothers "
Elias said rubbing he's head
"Whaaaaat" they all said
Kaelen stepped forward, his blue flames flickering low. He looked at Zane with a mixture of fear and respect. "Commader Zane ...is here?"
Drakye Void said as he walked into the room, The air in the room grew heavy enough to crack the floorboards. ". I assume this isn't an official inspection," Drakye said coolly.
"No... not at all just came to see my brother," Zane replied, standing up. "And I'm taking him for a while".
They were all shocked and surprised, Zane and Tyson stepped outside, giving Elias and he's teammates room
Elias then explained everything to his teammate
There was a long silence , they were all shocked even the captain ,none of them knew he's gone through something like this,
Elias looked at his teammates—the "the 10th" who had become his only family when he thought he had none.
"I'll be back," Elias promised. "But they're right. I watched Kaizen die because I wasn't enough. I'm not letting that happen again to anyone else "
Elias thought to himself.
"You better come back stronger, Elias!" Nyx yelled, finally remembering to brush her teeth. "If you don't, I'm gonna kick your ass !"
Rook gave a thumbs up, his metal arm sparking. "Go get 'em, kid. Show 'em what the 10th is made of".
As Elias followed Zane and Tyson out of the base,
The 10th all watched they all knew they needed to also get stronger.
Later that evening, on the highest roof of the Xenocide Headquarters, the wind howled around the steel girders. Zane stood at the edge, looking down at the city .
A figure stepped out of the shadows, pulling back a deep black hood. The amber eyes of Tyson Walker caught the light of the moon.
"He hasn't made a move... but I'm sure he's gonna soon we just have to wait" Tyson said
" I guess so, ...bola Ahmed..... I'm going to find out what your are up to, sooner or later" Zane replied

"Hmm, looks like valkhyre as all he's pieces ready for the game, " the 10 commander of the zethrians
Are the officials, but who are the pawn if I'm not careful I could lose , even a pawn can become a queen, " gold said smiling
"I need to start getting my pieces ready , but my queen is Elias walker,... I've never been so fired up before, valkhyre I'm gonna crush you "
Gold then left out a hard laughed which echoed in the underground.
