I bought enough provisions for a week of travel at old Ron's shop. He gave me a discount and wished me good luck.
I hope things go well for him in the future. He's a good man.
I also bought a dagger at the village blacksmith. Mr. Kar told me that if I wanted to travel, I had to be prepared for anything.
There are stories in the village that he used to be an adventurer, but that after losing his leg he had to retire.
I'll ask him about the truth of those stories when I return from my journey.
Once everything else was done, I set out from my village.
