The Next Day
Gde slowly opened his eyes on the couch. For a moment, he just stared at the ceiling. Then he remembered. "Right."
He sighed softly and reached into his pocket, pulling out his phone.
It was 5:00 a.m., still no signal or internet.
"I didn't sleep well," he muttered under his breath.
Then he took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, thinking about what had happened and whether he might be arrested and even locked up or imprisoned due to some unknown virus while also he had just brought an alien into his home.
He rubbed his face and shook his head slowly, thinking, "Let's do something first." Then he sat up and stretched from side to side.
"Maybe a little exercise and then breakfast," he said quietly.
He stood and walked to the bedroom door.
Carefully, he opened the door a crack and peeked inside as the light from the lightbulb illuminated the room.
The humanoid alien still lay motionless on the bed. "Still unconscious," he muttered.
His eyes fixed on his bandaged head."The injury must be worse than I thought."
After a moment, he slowly closed the door.
He returned to the living room and began doing push-ups, his movements
steady and controlled.
Then sit-ups.
And shadow boxing.
A simple routine to became strongest....ehh!!.
After a while, he stopped there, sweating all over, then looked down at his wet clothes and looked him up and down, sighing and saying softly, "This is a bit absurd when you think about it, like nothing happened…"
Then he looked around the room and said to himself, "Or am I just weirdo???. Who knows?" with a faint smile tugging at his lips.
Then he headed to the kitchen .
Soon, the sounds of cooking and the aroma of food filled the house.
While doing an egg flip with a pan, Gde Cooking said quietly, "I have an alien in my house." Eggs sizzled in the pan.
zzzz.....
zz....
zzzz.......
"Yeah!! Now I almost forgot there's a fucking alien in my bedroom," he said to himself, "do I need to panic or not? Or maybe ask the reader about it? Ehhh, let's focus." Then he took a deep breath and shook his head, flipping the eggs on the pan, then glanced slightly toward the bedroom again.
Alien POINT OF VIEW
Darkness. Pressure.
Trying to move its body.
Pain!!!. A sharp throbbing spread through his head.
His body felt heavy. Then fragments of light flashed.
Smoke!. A crash!. A figure!. Standing!
sharp eyes. Unknown shape. Unknown Danger?
Its body tensed. Pain soon followed, Eyes opened slightly.
Blurred shapes. Not inside the ship.
Warning!!!
Its fingers twitched.
Slowly
Forced to move his body. Pain stabbed into its head again...
A faint sound washeard.
Crack!....
Crack!!....
The surface beneath shifted.
GDE's POINT OF VIEW
While cooking and humming, gde froze in midair. The spatula hovered in his hand. He heard a faint sound coming from the bedroom.
His eyes narrowed slightly. He glanced toward the bedroom.
GDE thought, "Damn! Is that from inside?" he muttern "As I thought, sooner or later I'll have to face this. I was the one who decided to bring this alien home," feeling the turmoil in his chest and closing his eyes.
After a few moments, he took a deep breath and exhaled to calm his mind and opened his eyes.
Then he placed the spatula on the table. His gaze shifted to the two kitchen knives beside the spatula.
He picked one up and tucked one into his pocket, the other tucked into the back of his pants. He glanced back toward the bedroom.
Slowly, he walked toward the bedroom.
His left hand clenched slightly Yet each step was quieter than the last, and each breath was a slow, calming his emotion.
