With two weeks till official admission, I hunted housing. My memories had a perfect little house address, heh-heh.
First, the magic market. Shanghai's was huge, mostly official shops. Sold magic resources for 100 million yuan. Should last a bit.
Going online, I immediately typed the address of the house that interested me into the search engine – Lushan 9. A quiet neighborhood literally two steps from Mingzhu University.
Generally, the university has a rule – in the first year of study, students must live in dorms. Supposedly, this increases their cohesion. But rich students often settle nearby, and the administration turns a blind eye.
That's what I planned to do – I didn't want to share a room with five other guys and intended to buy a house. Why buy instead of rent? Simply, in this case, landlord status would come in handy.
Finding a rental listing for this house in the search results, I arranged a meeting with the owner.
An hour later, I was standing in front of a beautiful two-story house with a swimming pool. The house was designed for four separate tenants, each with their own room.
The owner turned out to be a pretty red-haired woman slightly over 30. While we talked, I learned that the house had come to her from her husband during the divorce, and now she rented it to wealthy students.
Word by word, and after the inspection, I offered to buy the house from her at one and a half times the market price. The woman was initially wary and suspected a catch, but showing the cash and suggesting we go to lawyers she trusted did the trick.
So, by the end of the day, greasing the wheels of bureaucracy with money, I became the owner of the house I wanted for just 1.7 million yuan.
Now it was time for the reason I'd bought it in the first place. I posted a rental ad on the same site the previous owner had used.
In the ad, skipping the photos and house specs, I wrote: Renting rooms for 1 yuan a month to two beautiful girls. One should have the Ai family name, blonde hair, and big breasts. The other should have long chestnut hair and green eyes. Call the number to arrange.
Even an idiot could tell I was targeting specific girls – namely Ai Tutu and Mu Nujiao. In canon, they rented this house with Mo Fan, so they'd agree to live with me too.
And to ensure they didn't miss it due to butterfly effect, I specified their features exactly. It would scare off any other girls, but knowing Ai Tutu's playful and adventurous nature, this ad would spark her curiosity instead. She'd drag Mu Nujiao along, and she wouldn't refuse her friend.
That's exactly what happened. A week later, I got a call. When I picked up, a young girl's voice answered, judging by the sound:
"Hello, I'm calling about the room rental. My friend and I perfectly match the description you gave, and we'd like to rent two rooms. Tell me, why those specific features and such a low price?" a cheerful, lively voice asked with a hint of curiosity.
"Ooo! That's just perfect! See, I had a dream where I lived under one roof with two beautiful girls, and all sorts of awkward everyday moments happened. I liked it so much that after waking up, I immediately posted the rental ad and listed the features from my dream." I started spinning her a tale.
"Well, I don't knooow. This ad looks so suspicious." Ai Tutu – it was definitely her voice – clearly wanted me to persuade her.
"Oh, don't rush to refuse. You see, I'm a summoner, and I have very cute summoning beasts. If you agree to rent, I'll let you pet them." I stated my argument. Knowing how much this girl loved anything cute, she had no chance.
"We're on our way!" What did I say?
An hour and a half later, I met the girls in front of the house. Both were dressed in light summer dresses.
Mu Nujiao was, as always, charming. Her chestnut hair was tied in a high ponytail, and the light azure dress went well with her green eyes. In the opinion of most boys who adored her, her most beautiful feature was her long white legs. Mu Nujiao's height reached 174 centimeters.
Ai Tutu wore a light lilac dress with a white stripe down the middle. Her wavy blonde hair was styled in a short bob to her shoulders. Her honey-colored eyes harmonized perfectly with her hair. In the opinion of many boys, her most beautiful feature was her breasts. Ai Tutu's height reached 157 centimeters. Of the two, I liked her more for her cheerful, lively personality – she was like a cute little sun bunny. I was even thinking of making a move on her.
I was dressed in beige shorts just above the knee and a sea-wave polo shirt. Sunglasses rested on my eyes.
"Welcome to the bachelor pad of Mingzhu's strongest freshman. I think it could use the caring hands of two lovely ladies!" I greeted them.
"Strongest freshman? Ha! Don't overestimate yourself! Sister Mu could tear you apart easily!" Ai Tutu started shadowboxing toward me, praising her friend, who just stayed silent.
"How about a bet then?" I suggested. The fish took the bait.
"What bet?" she asked curiously. Just as I remembered, she was up for any action.
"I'll put out one of my summoning monsters. If she beats it, I'll move out and leave the house to just you two. But if your Sister Mu loses..." A lecherous smirk appeared on my face.
"...then for a year, you'll sleep cuddling me." I pointed at her.
"With me?" The girl was a bit surprised. After all, guys usually preferred Mu Nujiao in their duo.
"With you, with you. I feel like you'd be the perfect cuddle pillow. So, deal?" I glanced at her white bunnies.
"Hm, Sister Mu won't lose. I accept the bet. Bring out your monster." Crossing her arms under her chest, Ai Tutu looked proudly at her sighing friend. Poor thing, it must be tough for Mu Nujiao with her.
"As you wish. Don't back out later – I recorded it all on my phone." Warning her, I summoned Bula. After all, I didn't want to hurt her, but watching a beautiful girl in a wet dress? God himself commanded it.
"Bula (Distracting me from lounging again...)" Bula was quite the slacker. He only got active when playing with Pikachu. Otherwise, he spent his free time in his water-filled summoning space, listening to looped wave sounds on a waterproof player.
"What a cutie!" Ai Tutu scooped Bula up and pressed him to her chest.
"You weren't lying about the cute summons." She nodded to herself.
"But don't think that just because he's cute, Sister Mu won't dare hit him. After you lose, I'll comfort him." She finally set my fighter down.
Mu Nujiao and Bula moved to opposite ends of the spacious house yard.
"And... go!" Ai Tutu gave the signal.
A minute later.
"Haf-haf-haf." Mu Nujiao breathed heavily, kneeling on the ground. Her dress now clung tightly to her body, outlining its seductive curves.
Bula had mastered the Water Prison technique perfectly. Giving him a thumbs-up, I recalled him – let him slack off more, he earned it. Ai Tutu swallowed in shock.
"What level is this cu... monster?" she asked in a daze. Mu Nujiao also looked up interestedly.
"Peak Pack Leader. One of my two summons." I clarified with a grin ear to ear.
"Then no surprise. You really are Mingzhu's strongest freshman – probably the strongest student in the green campus." While Ai Tutu gaped in shock, Mu Nujiao expressed her respect.
"Aim higher, sweetie. Without artifacts, no Mingzhu student can beat me." I boasted.
"And now, time to claim my prize. Evening's coming – I'll hit the hay early." With that, I scooped Ai Tutu up princess-style and carried her to my room.
"Wait!... Sister Mu, help!... At least let me change first!" Mu Nujiao could only pray for her friend, whose voice faded farther away.
