Within the pitch-black graveyard, cold rain continued to pour from the gloomy sky.
The tombstones that had only recently been erected began trembling one after another. Fine cracks rapidly spread across their surfaces before they shattered with a series of muffled sounds, breaking into countless black fragments that merged into the continuously churning mass of soul light suspended in midair.
Not only that, but even the souls of the Goblin Overseer and Shaman that Zich had deliberately preserved earlier were drawn out of their respective tombstones by this mysterious force. Transforming into two distinct streams of soul energy, they swiftly plunged into the ever-expanding sphere of light.
Meanwhile, farther away in the graveyard, the tombstones belonging to Slimy and the other summons remained standing quietly beneath the black rain, completely unaffected.
