Before Zich could fully raise the Deathbone Flute in his hand, the Goblin King standing at the top of the steps had already launched its attack!
With a swing of its massive battleaxe and a deep, guttural roar, the Goblin King ordered the guards stationed at the hall's entrance to advance. Their heavy shields overlapped, sharp spearheads thrust through the gaps between them, and the goblin shamans positioned behind the formation unleashed the spells they had been preparing.
"Left!"
At Zich's warning, Nadia dodged to the side without hesitation.
Whoosh!
A streak of sickly green light brushed past her body and slammed into the spot where she had been standing, blasting a shallow groove into the hard stone.
At the same time, the White Tiger leaped toward a stone pillar beside the steps while Zich retreated half a step. Several flashes of summoning light unfolded before him, and familiar figures appeared on the battlefield.
Clang!
