His face still carried that same gentle and composed smile, as though no matter who he had drawn, it would not have affected his emotions much.
It was only when Zich's gaze landed on him that Lucien turned his head slightly.
Their gazes briefly met across the waiting area.
There was no hostility, nor was there any provocation. Yet several contestants nearby inexplicably felt as though the air had become heavier at that moment.

"I originally thought we would meet in the final."
Zich calmly replied, "Now isn't too late either."
"Indeed." Lucien smiled faintly. "To be honest, I was very surprised when I saw you defeat Nameless yesterday."
"That was the first time someone made me feel that this tournament might not be as boring as I had imagined."
