Water is one of the simplest things in the world, yet it holds profound wisdom.
It flows to the lowest places—the places others avoid. It does not compete or resist. It adapts to every shape, every path, every obstacle.
And yet, it is incredibly powerful.
Over time, it can carve through rock, shape landscapes, and sustain life itself.
The Sage seeks to be like water.
He does not seek the highest position. He is comfortable in humility. He does not force his way forward but moves naturally, responding to circumstances as they arise.
This makes him effective.
Because he is not rigid, he cannot be easily broken.
Because he does not resist, he cannot be easily defeated.
He lives in harmony—with others, with nature, with himself.
And in that harmony, he finds strength
