Chapter 58 - Forced Entry: Before The Divines

The fracture in the sky didn't close.

It widened.

Kael looked up.

Not surprised.

Not hesitant.

"…It's pulling us," he said.

Riven took a step back.

"…Yeah, I figured that part out. Question is—can we not go?"

The answer came instantly.

They couldn't.

The space around them folded—not violently, but with absolute control.

Elara reached out slightly—

but there was nothing to hold onto.

"…Kael—"

"I know."

The world disappeared.

Convergence Plane

Silence.

Not emptiness.

Not darkness.

Something… structured.

The three of them stood on a surface that didn't feel like ground.

Above them—nothing.

Below them—nothing.

Just existence.

Riven blinked slowly.

"…Okay…"

"…I officially hate this place."

Kael didn't respond.

Because they weren't alone.

First Presence — Ignish

Heat surged—not burning, but overwhelming.

A massive figure stood ahead.

"…So these are the anomalies," the Inferno Monarch said.

His gaze locked onto Kael.

"…You don't look impressive."

Riven leaned slightly toward Kael.

"…Wow. First impression—he's annoying."

Kael didn't react.

Second Presence — Shadow

The light behind them dimmed.

"…And yet, he stands," a calm voice echoed.

Riven turned.

"…Yeah, I don't like that one either."

The Umbra Sovereign stood within shifting darkness.

Watching.

Third Presence — Cryomix

The air dropped—precise and cold.

Elara froze slightly.

"…You should not exist," the Cryomancer Sovereign said.

His gaze didn't move from her.

For the first time—

Elara stepped back.

"…I…" she started—

but stopped.

Fourth Presence — Aqualis

The space softened slightly.

"…And yet, she does," the Leviathan Core said calmly.

His presence didn't press.

But it observed everything.

Fifth Presence — Soul Hall

Then—

everything aligned.

Perfect lines formed around them.

"Anomaly trio confirmed."

The Arbiter stood at the center.

"Kael. Elara. Riven."

Riven flinched slightly.

"…Okay—he knows our names. That's not comforting."

Pressure of Divines

The air tightened.

Not attack.

Not movement.

Judgment.

Kael stepped forward slightly.

"…You pulled us here," he said.

"…So speak."

The Inferno Monarch laughed lightly.

"…Bold."

The Shadow Sovereign added:

"…Or unaware."

The Arbiter spoke:

"You are the result of past deviation."

Silence.

Elara's breath slowed.

"…Past…" she whispered.

The Cryomancer Sovereign's voice cut in:

"…You were removed."

Her eyes widened slightly.

"…Removed…?"

First Direct Truth (Still Partial)

The Arbiter continued:

"Your existence was divided to preserve system integrity."

Riven frowned.

"…That sounds bad."

Kael's gaze sharpened.

"…Divided from what?"

Silence.

Because none of them answered directly.

Rising Conflict

The Inferno Monarch stepped forward slightly.

"…It doesn't matter," he said.

"…If she's unstable—we erase her."

Elara stiffened.

Riven reacted instantly.

"…Yeah—no, that's not happening."

The Cryomancer Sovereign spoke coldly:

"…She is not yours to protect."

Kael stepped forward.

"…She doesn't belong to you either."

The space trembled.

Authority Pressure vs Kael

The Arbiter raised its hand.

"Conflict threshold rising."

Pressure dropped on Kael.

The same as before.

Stronger.

"Submit to judgment."

Kael didn't move.

"…No."

The pressure cracked.

Again.

The Divines reacted—slightly.

Riven's Fear Returns

Riven's body tensed.

"…He's doing it again…" he muttered.

But his eyes weren't on the Arbiter.

They were scanning—

looking for something else.

"…If he's here…" Riven whispered,

"…then this is bad…"

Final Tension

Elara stepped forward again.

Not behind Kael.

Beside him.

"…I don't understand everything," she said quietly.

Her voice steadied.

"…But I won't disappear again."

Silence fell.

The Aqualis Core observed closely.

"…Interesting," he murmured.

The Shadow Sovereign added:

"…The fragment speaks like a whole."

The Inferno Monarch smiled.

"…Then let's see how long that lasts."

The Arbiter concluded:

"Judgment incomplete."

"Decision pending."

The space around them shifted again.

Because this wasn't the end.

It was the beginning of something far worse.

And for the first time—

the trio stood inside the origin of their own mystery.
