Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 Tang San Cries in Anger

Immediately, the zu zong grabbed Su Yuntao's arm, forcing a few tears from the corners of his eyes, and pleaded, "Master Su Yuntao, although my admiration for you is like a surging river, endless and unstoppable, please

leave first! Xiao San has been blinded by anger.

Xiao San is no match for you, but if you lay a hand on a country bumpkin, it will definitely damage your noble character. How will you ever find a girlfriend (Sisi) in the future?"

Su Yuntao was first showered with praise by the clan elder, and then reminded of his inability to find a girlfriend (to win Sisi's heart). In a moment of impulsiveness, he agreed on the spot.

As a seasoned simp—bah! a seasoned romantic—suffering a little anger was a small matter; failing to win Sisi's heart was a big deal.

Su Yuntao sneered, "Hmph! That Tang San guy, I'll let it slide today because your friend pleaded for you. But Old Jack, tell his family to keep a close eye on him when you get back. He's too arrogant. Others aren't as easy to talk to as I am."

Hearing that Su Yuntao wasn't going to make a fuss, Old Jack quickly thanked him, "Thank you, Master Su Yuntao! Thank you, Master Su Yuntao!" He then thanked Old Tom beside him, "Your village's brat (what was his clan name again? I can't remember) is the most sensible one. Tang San's alcoholic father never cares about him, no wonder he's gone astray!"

Old Tom chimed in, "Yes! Yes! I've always thought this brat was sensible."

(zu zong: If I'm so sensible, why do you keep hitting me with a carrying pole?)

Tang San looked around and saw everyone criticizing him, even the extras and bystanders were pointing and whispering about him.

An adult bystander remarked, "I thought this kid was quite sensible! I didn't expect that."

A young girl bystander chimed in, "Tang San, shame on you!"

Tang San's gaze returned to his patriarch, who was laughing—a smug, mocking laugh.

At this point, Tang San realized he'd been misunderstood. Unfortunately, he didn't know the zu zong's name, and he couldn't very well call him "ancestor"! He'd rather die than do that.

Tang San could only mimic Old Tom and Old Jack's way of addressing him, roaring, "You brat, I'll kill you!"

Su Yuntao, upon hearing this, was shocked. They actually wanted to kill him, calling this promising young man in his twenties "brat"—how disrespectful! For Sisi's sake, he had initially intended to let it go. But now, while he might escape death, he couldn't escape punishment.

Immediately, Su Yuntao shouted sternly, "You're incorrigible! Since that's the case, you can forget about your Martial Soul Certificate. If you still want to study at the Notting Junior Soul Master Academy, come to Notting City and apologize to me properly."

Then, Su Yuntao handed the clan leader's Martial Soul Certificate to him, his tone softening considerably: "This is your Martial Soul Certificate. You're a genius. If you want to join the Spirit Hall in the future, feel free to come find me there anytime."

The zu zong glanced at Tang San, who was already obsessed, a scene reminiscent of when the old rabbit Xiao Wu was injured in the original story.

[Ding, Tang San harbors murderous intent towards the host, hatred value rises to (temporarily): 80%, hatred points increase by 6800]

The zu zong thought to himself, "Damn! He actually wants to kill me? Although my physique has improved considerably, I have little combat power. If I don't leave now, when will I?"

The zu zong took the Martial Soul Certificate from Su Yuntao, then showered him with praise, finally offering to send Su Yuntao away.

Fearing Tang San might do something foolish again, how could the others refuse?

After Su Yuntao and the clan leader left,

Tang San finally snapped out of his rage. His face was full of questions, and two silent tears streamed down his face as he muttered to himself, "What...what happened to me just now?"

The farce ended there, and the onlookers went home.

Old Jack, holding Tang San's hand, looked serious, his previous amiable expression gone.

Tang San's face was contorted with bitterness; he was choking back tears, his eyes blurred, and his nose stung. He, a peerless genius—a transmigrator with Tang Sect's ultimate techniques and twin martial souls—had actually shed tears in front of so many people. How shameful! It was all that brat named "Zu's" fault.

"Hmm? Right, I have another martial soul, which seems much stronger than the broken grass on my right hand. Why should I be jealous of that brat?" Thinking this, Tang San felt much better.

Old Jack led Tang San to Tang Hao's house, kicked open the dilapidated wooden door, and launched into a tirade of abuse.

"Tang Hao, you good-for-nothing! You're lazy and good for nothing but drinking. Do you even know that your little San has gone astray?! @#¥%…" The insults were as nasty as they could possibly be.

Tang Hao, still groggy from drinking cheap ale, was about to fall asleep when Old Jack launched into his tirade. He was stunned, but being a seasoned veteran who'd been cursed at by Old Jack for six years, he'd automatically filtered out the profanities, except for the phrase "that little San has gone astray."

No way! Who was Tang Hao? The mighty "youngest ever" Title Douluo, Tang Ritian, the one who dared to hammer the Pope of the Spirit Hall for the sake of the Sun Grass!

"The mighty Clear Sky Sect, the trembling Clear Sky Hammer!" This mere idiot son with zero rings dared to go astray? He was courting death.

How could he face the deceased Ah Yin? "

Take this! A Clear Sky Palm—Disorderly Cloak!"

Tang Hao leaped forward and slapped Tang San hard across the face.

"Smack!" A deafening sound rang out!

Tang Hao roared, "You lost your mother at a young age, and your father raised you with such hardship, changing your diapers and feeding you every drop of urine. How dare you learn bad habits?" (Changing your diapers and feeding you every drop of urine? Tang Hao, have you no shame?) A

bright red handprint was clearly visible on Tang San's face.

Tang San was stunned, his head buzzing.

He felt wronged, extremely wronged. In both his previous lives, even when he jumped into the Ghost's Sorrow to prove his innocence, he had never felt so wronged.

With a wail, Tang San burst into tears.

"Dad, even you are bullying me! Waaaaah!"

Tang Hao: Who am I? What am I doing?

After sending Su Yuntao out of Holy Soul Village, the zu zong went straight back to Emperor Soul Village.

As soon as they entered the village, the handsome but usually disdainful members of the clan leader rushed up wagging their tails.

Fangirl A: "Whose son is that? He's so handsome!"

Fangirl B: "He has such a great aura too, and his skin is even whiter than my little flower's."

Fangirl C: "Is his blue hair dyed? So cute!"

An older woman: "My son-in-law is settled!"

Hearing the whispers, Zu Zong's lips twitched.

"Pah, a bunch of looks-obsessed people. They only know how to lust after me, so despicable."

Back in his dilapidated outhouse—no! thatched hut—Zu Zong locked the door tightly. He was about to steal.

[Ding, after Tang Hao's guidance, Tang San understands the power of the Clear Sky Hammer. His hatred towards the host has decreased to 20%. Tang San has abandoned his murderous intent, but still wants to give the host a good beating.]

Hearing the system notification, Zu Zong slapped himself lightly (Pah! There wasn't even a sound, it's fake.).

"Come on, I'll give him a handicap."
