Something shifted in the shadows. It didn't feel soft, it felt heavy. Like it shouldn't be there.
Uraraka clinged to a nearby object—a water bottle—while Midoriya ran towards the door.
"What's that thing in the corner? Turn on the back lights!" She yelled.
That's when Ray walked in. His eyes swept over the shadows as it calmed down.
He was followed by Jiro, who was curious about the commotion.
"Ignore us!" Midoriya scrambled to look normal.
"How can I ignore you when you look like you just went through… what, war?" She said, unimpressed.
"Well, no, I didn't go through war," he fidgeted with his fingers.
"Yeah no shit, Deku!" Bakugo stood behind Jiro.
Midoriya (AKA Deku) nearly flinched, "y-yeah!"
Bakugo rolled his eyes.
Ray, who was quietly watching, sneaked over to the shadows, whispering 'Umbra, calm down. You're going to give it away.'
Kaminari looked over, "Thunderstrike?"
"Yes?" He said without looking back.
"Who are you talking to?"
"Nothing."
"As if I'm going to believe that.." Kaminari walked over, cautiously.
Fuck- I'm doomed…
"What's.. that?" He pointed to faint glowing purple eyes that looked more creepy up close.
"Well.. you caught me…"
"Caught you?"
"This is Umbra…" Ray says.
